Daily life had resud at the space camp and it was loitering with guests by the ti i i and Jingzhe arrived. All the food courts were packed to the brim with hungry people.
During the ti when the camp closed, all the outdoor eateries had been expanded to include room for at least ten tables, each with four chairs. This was welcod by those who were lining up with their children.
i i toured her kingdom with Jingzhe by her side while assistant Han explained the changes that had occurred during the ti when the camp was closed. Everything was progressing well.
After the tour, ard with all the snacks that had been shoved into her arms, i i moved to the conference room to et with the representatives of Tai foods. It was not surprising that Tao Xiaotong was there but what was surprising was that she sitting in a key position, one ant for the major representative of the other side.
Three other mbers of the Tao family were present, including Tao Zhu the CFO of Tao group and Tao Linlang, the head of the food research division of Tao foods. Both were speaking to Tao Xiaotong in whispers and listening to her feedback keenly.
They were giving the young girl the respect she had earned by herself.
i i wondered if Mingzhu would ever be treated like this. Compared to Tao Xiaotong, her daughter was very childish.
"Because she is a child." C4 reminded i i.
"I know, and I love her just the way she is." i i answered. "This Tao Xiaotong just makes wonder if I am not doing enough in regards to Mingzhu’s education."
Tao Xiaotong cleared her throat and funnily enough, everyone in attendance from the Tao side settled. Jingzhe pinched i i’s waist, hiding a chuckle. To him, it was very funny.
Tao Xiaotong was wearing a pant suit!!!. Her hair was tied in a straight flawless ponytail, she was wearing shoes that had a little heel.
Her chair had been adjusted to bring her to the sa height as all the adults. She looked like a mix of a child and a boss at the sa ti.
Two of her assistants were standing behind her, none showing any nervousness. It seed like they had been involved in such negotiations many tis.
"Miss Jun ilin," Tao Xiaotong started. "I am Miss Tao Xiaotong and I will be representing the Tai group in these negotiations. It is a pleasure to et you." She stood up and stretched her hand out for a handshake.
i i stood as well and stretched her hand out. "It is a pleasure to et you Miss Tao, I hope our negotiations will turn out for the best."
Xiaotong introduced the people she had co with and i i introduced hers.
i i started slowly, "Right, we should get to it. I own the space and machines you want to rent exclusively."
"We would not mind the entire junior space chef planet being loaned to the Tao group for exclusive access. We are not just here to negotiate lease terms and machine usage fees. The chef planet has a problem of overcrowding and shortage of supplies sotis. It is an annoying inconvenience."
i i raised an eyebrow. "Annoying inconvenience?"
Xiaotong shrugged. "Yes, that is because it causes delays in research."
"Unfortunately I cannot lease an entire planet to you because the space camp activities are supposed to be available to everyone." i i replied.
Tao Xiaotong pursed her lips. The answer she got was one she expected but none the less, it made her unhappy. One of her assistants handed assistant Han a folder which was then handed to i i.
Inside were spreadsheets and pie charts on personalized paper that had faint images of so of Tao foods best selling products. Tao Xiaotong had added personal notes and observations.
"You were very thorough." i i said, looking at the young girl in surprise.
"I do my own research," Xiaotong replied, "I also run part of the research division of Tao foods. I will be entirely in charge of this branch. I am aggressive when I need to be."
"Impressive." i i nodded. "I see you want to be charged monthly for use of each machine rather than yearly as it is with the space. Why is that?"
"Because I don’t want to pay for a month when the machines break down for any reason." Xiaotong replied candidly. "This is new technology that we don’t understand and only you have it. If there is a problem, we cannot fix it and must wait for you. If you are not available, then we cannot work. We must account for such risks."
i i raised her eyebrows. Tao Xiaotong really thought ahead. Had that idea co from her or was it from soone else? "You realize that you are at risk of having the rent fee for the machines increased in any given month?"
Xiaotong blinked. "Which is why we included a clause that requires the rent fee to be concluded in a one ti deal annually. It can only be renegotiated when the contract as a whole is being renegotiated. Any aggressive incrents will result in us filing a lawsuit against you."
Jingzhe nearly whistled. Tao Xiaotong was killing it!
i i nodded. "Okay then, I see that you want to hire each machine at fifty thousand yuan a month. My answer is no, the lowest price I can give you is three hundred thousand yuan a month. Don’t even attempt to negotiate because we all know the fifty thousand is an insult to ."
Tao Xiaotong suddenly smiled. "Mother...."
"Miss Tao." i i cut in quickly, "We should stick to business first and save personal conversations for later."
Jingzhe chuckled and Xiaotong glared at him sharply. He was stunned and he drew back. He wondered how a little girl was so scary.
"Then I counter with two hundred fifty thousand yuan. I will not pretend to be unfamiliar with the figures that are made on each machine daily. At most, you are making one hundred sixty to two hundred eighty thousand yuan daily. I have been doing the math everyday." Xiaotong leaned back in the chair, arms crossed. "Miss Jun, I am a ten year old child but I know not to make a losing deal. I have also read The Art of War and every book on business economics for dummies and the art of negotiations which were published by your father. I know how to conquer and cook."
