The dog was not vigilant when she approached, the cat however hissed two tis. It had kittens to protect after all.
i i opened her bag and retrieved a second sausage which she have to the dog. The dog bit off half and pushed the other half towards the cat.
The actions made i i scoff. "Brother, being self sacrificing is why you look like this and I know because I looked like this not so long ago. What is this, a case of forbidden love? Dogs and cats are supposed to be enemies you know. You should stick to your own kind...miss cat here has kittens, obviously she knows what I am talking about."
The dog blankly stared at i i, whining in response with its eyes on her bag.
She got a third sausage and gave it to the dog. Her questions did not stop. "Are you two best friends that made a life and death pact? Is that why you are sticking together and sharing food?" She looked at the cat and said, "You know he would eat you in a period of famine, right?"
"Why are you dissecting their friendship?" C4 asked her.
i i sighed, she stood up and looked around. The alley was empty and small, it served as a path for people to walk through. It seed that number was not big enough or else the animals would not like skin and bones.
She felt really torn when she considered just moving along and minding her own business. How many tis had she told her mother to stop bringing ho strays when she was growing up?
It was not because she did not like animals but because their ho had turned into an animal farm. Neighbors used to call it the farmhouse.
The dog whined and approached her, in its eyes she saw a plea that tugged on the strings of her heart. It was still hungry, as was the cat. But, even if they filled their bellies today, tomorrow would be another day of starvation.
"Mingzhu will probably be excited if I take you back." she mumbled.
Mother cat ca out of hiding, crying feebly. She was walking wobbly, no better than her tiny kittens that had yet to stop crying. She looked at i i and pushed one of the kittens towards her.
"Are you asking to save your baby or are you selling her for food?" i i asked it. She did not expect a response, the cat probably didn’t understand her anyway.
For the last ti, she sighed and made up her mind. Tis were tough on everyone, even cats were selling their babies now!!
"That is not what this is." C4 told her.
"It is what I say it is." She answered.
The fox sneered at her from the virtual screen. The system realized that another thing Jun ilin had inherited from her mother seed to be an exaggeration of facts. It was sure when she told the story about how she t the dog and cat later, she would claim the cat had been trying to sell kittens to her.
i i bought a box from the system mall at one point. She packed up the dog, cat, and kittens and left the alley.
The guard outside the governnt office saw her when she passed by, returning to her car. He shook his head when he got a glimpse of the dog’s head.
"It will be back here soon." he muttered.
He had been a security guard for this office for five years. In that ti, he had seen that dog being picked up by three people. All of them always returned it to the alley after a month or two.
The last person to take it in had kept if for six months. When it was returned, it was dumped on the steps of the office with a cat.
He watched i i’s car take to the sky and scoffed. The flying car was one of Sunning motors expensive models. "It seems the mutt found a rich owner this ti round. But it will be back soon I bet."
He lit a cigarette and returned to his booth.

She went straight to the camp and found that the trees she had ordered from the system were already being delivered. Delivery tracks were were lining up outside camp gates, waiting for entrance. Jingzhe was personally checking the paperwork because i i had not inford him about tree deliveries.
Carrying over the box with the animals, she went over and approved the delivery personally.
They stepped aside and the trucks drove to a location chosen by the system as the perfect spot for a forest.
"What do we need with these many trees?" Jingzhe asked curiously.
"A forest, we need a forest, that campfire needs to be sowhere close to nature. Is there....."
The dog stuck its head out of the box and Jingzhe took a step back.
"A Zhe, you are not scared of dogs, are you?" she asked.
He shook his head. Inside he was nodding, yes, yes I am scared of these deadly creatures. Have you seen their teeth? Jingzhe had been bitten on the ass by a dog when he was a child. Since then, he kept a fine distance between him and the canines.
But, if he said this to i i...Jingzhe could not bring himself to imagine what would happen. If he told her to choose between the dog and him...
"Mingzhu will be excited to have a pet finally." i i flipped open the box and showed him the cat and kittens. "Pets actually, this dog and cat are best friends of so kind...that or they are in love which is crazy because they can never be together." She went ahead to narrate the story of how she t the dog. "Can you imagine, the cat tried to sell her kittens for a sausage? I could not leave them behind, not in such conditions. What should we na them?"
She was smiling so brightly that Jingzhe breath caught in the back of his throat. He was sure that he was looking at the brightest sun in the sky in every universe. She was so beautiful, so kind, so loving and he wanted to take her sowhere, hide her and enjoy her goodness by himself.
"A Zhe, A Zhe....." i i called out, waving her hand.
He shook his head, responding with a mmmm
"I was asking what you think of Yellow and Pitch-black for the dog and cat. The kittens, hmm.....Beans and Corn. This one looks like a little bean and this one has a birthmark on her paw which looks like a corn seed."
On the virtual screen, C4 pretended to faint. He had so much faith in his host but she had really inherited her mother’s brains. Were those the best nas she could co up with?
He had been lucky to co with a na or else he would have so ridiculous na too.
"Corn! Beans! Yellow!! Pitch-black?" Jingzhe was just as confused as C4. "You want to na the dog with yellowish-brown fur yellow and the mostly white cat, Pitch-black!"
i i nodded. "What do you think?"
"Maybe we should give Mingzhu a chance." he suggested.
