“Ryan is just doing his best as my best friend, which is to keep showing fairies.” (Bellung)
“That is not sothing a best friend would do. You didn’t even consider his feelings when you did this to him.” (Ronne)
Actually, if I considered soone a friend, I wouldn’t directly ntion our relationship (as friends) or brag about it (the friendship). I was not one to express my emotions regarding such topics directly.
If it was not for being awkward about these things, I would not have trouble making friends.
“He brought Ronne to , we studied fairies together, and he gave his magic power. What would you call that if not friendship?” (Bellung)
When he said so, I couldn’t retort anything in return.
Ryan brought Ronne to the Lord of his own volition, and together they studied fairies, and according to Ronne’s story, Ryan even offered him his magic power of his own volition.

I agree with Ronne’s statent, and I never would ever think of doing sothing so horrible.
So people might give their lives for the sake of their family, friends, and loved ones. But no one would agree to give their magic power to another person until they were bedridden just to show them a fairy.
“You have never even talked to him about this, what do you know about his feelings regarding this? Perhaps it is his intention to continue to give his magic power, you know? Well, that ti would probably never co. After all, these magic circles are supposed to last for a lifeti.” (Bellung)
A lifeti… that would an that Bellung didn’t wish for Ryan to wake up at all.

For years, Ronne, Ronne’s partner, and the residents of this town suffered because of a man who was willing to do anything to achieve his selfish motives.

I was told by Ronne that she didn’t wish to leave her partner, Ryan, behind. Besides, she could not return to the fairy forest where her friends were because this person could use their connection to locate her.
In the worst-case scenario, I could escape to Crimonia by using my Bear Transfer Gate, but Ronne would not be able to return to the Fairy Forest as well.

Prim should have disappeared by now, and when Prim moved, the man’s gaze followed in her general direction but not focused on her.

The man turned his gaze to and Noa, who was behind Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear.

I called out to Prim to prove that I was her partner, and the man’s gaze turned to Prim now that he could see her.

Now, he was looking at as if he were licking .

“Why don’t you co and live with us? I will give you the best hospitality.” (Bellung)
“Hospitality? You an sleeping eternally like that guy?” (Yuna)
I looked lightly at Ryan, who was sleeping.
I didn’t know what this Lord was planning to do, so I looked at him with minimal eye contact to keep track of him while looking at Ryan.
“That’s up to you. As long as you don’t suddenly start talking about sending her ho like he did.” (Bellung)

So Ryan did want to send Ronne ho. On the other hand, this man in front of was opposed to that. To keep Ronne in this place, he even did such a horrible thing to his supposedly best friend. How selfish…
“And you lied to about it. I thought you said you had no family or acquaintances. Is it possible that you have other fairy friends?” (Bellung)
The man’s expression changed as he smiled at .
“I only said that because my sister and I had a falling out a long ti ago, and I didn’t know where she was. Of course, I’ve never t any other fairies, so I don’t know where they are.” (Ronne)
Ronne lied, trying to protect her sister and her fairy friends.
If this man knew about the fairy forest, he would definitely bring a lot of trouble.
“Well then, that sister of yours, Prim-san, right? Shall we hear what she has to say about this? Where did you co from? Are there many more of your fellow fairies out there?” (Bellung)
“Hmph! Who’s going to talk to you?” (Prim)
“So you don’t care about what happens to your partner?” (Bellung)

The guy looked at the sleeping Ryan.

Well, that knight under him certainly looked strong, if only from his point of view.
Even if Bellung hadn’t seen my match with that Knight, he should have at least witnessed the final stage of the match.

The man then rolled up his clothes at his chest.

What ca out from under the rolled-up clothes was a magic stone embedded in his body.
Then, just like the man who was lying down, there was a magic circle also etched on his body.
“If you win against and break this magic stone, the supply of magic from him will stop. That ans you will be able to take him and Ronne away.” (Bellung)
If the man was saying was true, I could take Ronne and Ryan out of this place if I won the battle and destroyed the magic stone.
“Don’t fight, Prim, it’s not too late. Run away with your partner.” (Ronne)
“…Sister.” (Prim)
“You can run away, Ronne’s sister, but I won’t let that bear lady go.” (Bellung)

Ronne did ntion that he could locate Ronne by tracing her magic power.
So that ans if I was ever captured and studied, he would be able to find Prim’s location.

I pointed my Bear-san puppet at the man.
“Then let’s go outside. It’s too small for both of us here. Besides, we’d both be in trouble if anything happened to him.” (Bellung)
He said so as he looked at the sleeping man. Unlike the Knight who was killed, this man would be more annoying in many ways.
But I see no reason to refuse the proposal.
Even if this man could fight at his full power, I could also fight him at my full power.
So I accepted the man’s proposal.
“Okay.” (Yuna)
The man smiled at my words and walked silently up the stairs.
