She gritted her teeth as she spoke, then glanced at the patient who had been helped to sit up and was struggling to drink water. Slightly calming down, she tentatively asked Leon, "Your Excellency, the miraculous spell you just cast, can it strip away the viral agents causing the respiratory illness?"
Leon sighed, nodding as he explained the now obvious truth.
"In the place where I live, this thing doesn’t have such a terrifying na, nor is it a virus. Spellcasters like myself refer to that basic elent as ’Magic Elent’. It is the essential energy almost all life in my world relies on for survival.
So, I can’t heal the so-called respiratory disease because it’s not a disease... To force an analogy, your current situation is like an aquatic creature thrown onto land unable to breathe, or conversely, a land creature thrown into deep water."
Hearing Leon’s explanation, Rousseau was stunned into silence, falling into deep thought.
Leon patiently waited for them to digest his words, while also observing the chests and abdons of the survivors around.
If not mistaken, these very few survivors who could sowhat adapt to the Magic Elent likely had their internal organs undergo mutations similar to those in his own body, enabling them to absorb Magic Elent energy.
And those tens of thousands of struggling, ill remnants who hadn’t died in the past three years should be the ones who couldn’t evolve in the intense physical mutations.
But compared to the billions of kin who died in the early days when this plane beca filled with the Magic Elent, whether it was the tens of thousands barely holding on or the re few thousand individuals who adapted, they were all imnsely lucky.
(In Tasa Language) "Damn Blood Clan, damn Alien Cult, it must be them spreading this damn Magic Elent into this world!"
The female officer lowered her eyes angrily, tightly clenching her fists.
Suddenly realizing sothing, she quickly looked at Leon.
"Your Excellency cos from a world with this Magic Elent, is there no way to remove these things? How can we possibly dispel the elents that shouldn’t appear in this world?"
Leon, helpless, continued to clarify: "I have no way to drive away the Magic Elent in this world, even though the concentration of Magic Elent here is much lower than where I co from. Just like you know, even in theoretical vacuum by draining the atmosphere, Magic Elent still exists. It’s not a gas, not even a substance in the general sense; it exists within material. Besides, even if you could eliminate the Magic Elent, you couldn’t survive in a truly ’theoretical vacuum’."
"Lord Leon, if Magic Elent had never appeared in our world before, where has it co from now?" Rousseau suddenly raised his head, his elderly voice calmly speculating: "Can I understand that so evil thing from your world has opened a passage in ours, causing the Magic Elent to flow here?"
Leon pondered for a mont, looking at the old man: "Actually, the truth I want to tell you is even harsher."
Rousseau’s face twitched slightly at his words.
Leon continued: "I have no evidence to prove the conjecture I’m about to share, but judging from past experiences, it might be closer to the truth... The reason Magic Elent has appeared in your world is not because of any passage.
But rather your world...
is falling into the plane I’m from.
No, more accurately, I actually have never left the ’Star Realm Plane’ I’m in."
It’s you, you along with this planet under your feet, possibly even parts of the Star Realm Cosmos, have co to the Star Realm Plane I live in."
The various Magic Science terminology from the Lorelette Language made it sowhat difficult for the old man and the female officer to understand, but soon they grasped the aning of Leon’s words.
"Your Excellency’s hypothesis, what evidence do you have?" the old man exclaid in shock.
The planet underfoot is no longer in the original Universe?
This even more shook Rousseau than the death of billions of kin in three years.
Leon sighed, the fact that Olivia and he could physically appear in this world is proof in itself.
Traversing the Void is no easy task, but opening a channel in the sa space-ti, although equally difficult, is undoubtedly simpler than the forr.
And considering the persistent differences in physical laws, perhaps this planet hasn’t completely rged with the Star Realm Plane I was previously in, but it probably isn’t far off....
"I once fought against a powerful enemy called ’Spirit Realm Demon’. They also set up the sa kind of magic ceremony that could awaken the Undead in my world. They attempted to use so ans to pull an outer domain plane into our world, but my army and I thwarted their plan. Of course, now it seems we didn’t completely stop them.
Earlier, I saw the sa ceremonial altar core in the territory of those Vampire Undead."
Leon did his best to explain simply.
"Now I can only speculate that the Demons’ powerful Space-Ti Magic is still ongoing between the two domains... The only way I can think of to save you is to quickly find those Demons, banish them once again, and completely destroy the ritual of rging planes."
At this point, Leon paused.
He wasn’t sure if he should say certain things.
...Even if the magic is destroyed now, Leon is not sure what kind of fate this world will face.
Will it remain in this state of convergence, or will it be able to return to its original state, back to the original Star Realm Plane?
But in any case, allowing the Demon’s plan to unfold is clearly unwise, and this concerns whether Olivia and he can safely return ho.
Leon temporarily set aside his concerns, glancing at the two still reeling from the shocking truth before him.
"Lord Rousseau, I suspect that the ’Blood God’ you speak of is one of the formidable foes I once fought against. Could you provide with the myths here and all the abnormal intelligence before and after the disasters? Those Demons are our common enemies."
After a long discourse, Leon felt another dizziness.
He bore the discomfort, maintained his composure, and went on to say to Rousseau, "If possible, please also take to your larger shelter. I can’t eradicate your kin’s respiratory disease triggered by the Magic Elent, but I can absorb the energy within the patients to alleviate their suffering."
More importantly, the Magic Elent accumulated in these human bodies is now my only ans of quickly regaining strength.
In the original world, indiscriminately absorbing the Magic Elent within ordinary living beings was undoubtedly a harmful evil magic.
But here, I am saving people.
