Chapter 913: Chapter 901: How Dare You Lay a Hand on My Son!

Ten years later

“By His Majesty’s decree, the teleportation arrays in the Yage Thirteenth Province will be shut down for three days. No one is permitted to activate or use the teleportation arrays!”

Riding a huge griffin, the ssenger flew across the sky, conveying the will of the Emperor to the cities within the thirteen provinces.

Had the teleportation arrays been operational, sending the Emperor’s commands wouldn’t have required such an intricate thod. However, now it was necessary to close all teleportation arrays in the region, and the only way to issue commands was by the most primitive ans.

“What’s this for? Is such an exaggeration necessary? The entire teleportation array network of the Yage Thirteenth Province is to be shut down! Good heavens, I still need to transport goods to other cities using the teleportation array. Now with this shutdown, won’t all my cargo be a complete loss?”

“I’m probably going to be ruined this ti. Does His Imperial Majesty realize how much money the Empire is going to lose because of this?”

“My goods!”

Following this decree to close the teleportation arrays, the entire Yage Thirteenth Province instantly beca filled with lantation and complaints. There were even so low curses. But there was almost no one bold enough to co forward and openly express opposition.

No one was a fool. In a region where magic technology was highly developed, the repercussions of shutting down the teleportation arrays for three days were clear, and the Emperor would undoubtedly be aware. Yet, the order was still given.

There must have been sothing so critical that the Emperor felt it necessary to take such drastic action. Moreover, such matters were likely dire. At a ti like this, if one were to protest too vehently and end up being made an example of, one would have nowhere to even weep.

“Shutting down the teleportation arrays for three days, do they think they can catch

in that ti?” In a small city, a traveler cloaked in a traveler’s robe, looked up at the griffin ssenger flying above the city and let out a disdainful chuckle.

“Or perhaps, are they planning to give up if they can’t catch

within those three days?”

“At any cost, catch that guy for !” In a palace seemingly constructed from sapphire inlays, a middle-aged man in luxurious attire was seething with fury, bellowing loudly.

“Father, please calm down. I have already issued the necessary orders. That scoundrel who dared dishonor my sister, he won’t get far!” In the palace, another figure, a young man who appeared youthful yet carried an air of authority, promptly responded.

“With the way you’re handling it, you will definitely not catch Aeolus!” remarked a statuesque woman with cascading blue hair and an indifferent smirk, standing to the side.

“Shut up! Your sister has pledged herself to soone, and you only found out after the fact! What good is a sister like you?” The middle-aged man roared at the blue-haired woman, letting out his raging anger.

“Why are you yelling at ? I may be her sister, but it’s impossible to monitor Felicia around the clock! You are her father, yet you didn’t notice in ti, so why do you expect

to have realized it beforehand?”

The middle-aged man montarily cooled down after being retorted by his daughter, but the anger in his heart intensified. He turned his gaze to his son, the current Emperor of the Orlando Empire.

“Use your authority to find this boy in the shortest possible ti!”

“Elena, are you still unable to locate the boy using astrology?” The forr Emperor of the Orlando Empire, who had abdicated the throne, turned to his wife.

“I can’t confirm his location. His background is not simple. I can only ascertain a rough direction,” she explained.

“But Mother, the range you’ve provided is quite broad; you’ve included the entire Thirteenth Province,” the reigning Emperor lanted regretfully.

“If you’re complaining, then don’t co to

next ti for anything related to divination or astrology. Find soone else who’s better!” The blue-haired beauty sitting beside the middle-aged man responded forcefully to her son’s complaint.

“No, Mother, my apologies!” The newly crowned Emperor hastily admitted his error upon hearing his mother’s words.

“Be content. Knowing the approximate direction is enough. Thirteenth Province, as long as we conduct a thorough search, we will soon ascertain where the boy is hiding.

If he attempts to escape using space magic, with no interference from other teleportation arrays, we can directly lock onto his coordinates!”

“Is this necessary? I am the real victim here!” Aeolus, amidst the crowd in the increasingly stringent city, sighed helplessly.

He knew it wasn’t just the city he was in that was under such tight scrutiny; all cities in the region would be thoroughly searched by the Orlando Empire’s Dragon Army. An empire certainly had the capability to execute such a search.

“Now I need to figure out how to escape. Unfortunately, the simplest space magic is not an option!” Aeolus sighed, knowing that shutting down the teleportation arrays was to reduce spatial transmission fluctuations in the area, and that breaking through space with magic would definitely attract the attention of legendary pursuers.

“But if I can’t use space magic,” Aeolus touched his face, feeling a bit troubled, “sooner or later they will search their way to !”

“It seems I can only take advantage of the chaos and rush out with those pieces of trash!” Aeolus, recalling a gathering he had co across last night, made the decision sowhat reluctantly.

Although the Orlando Empire’s actions were ant to find him, they would inevitably expose so shady figures who obviously wouldn’t surrender without a fight—they would find a way to break through the Imperial Army’s blockade.

“A bunch of good-for-nothings more trouble than they’re worth, how could I have been so blind as to rush at the Empire’s army with these wretches?” Amidst the rolling hills, Aeolus, cloaked in a gray robe, sped through the forests.

He had just joined a group of lawbreaking thugs, adept at concealing their tracks, in assaulting the army’s blockade of a small city he had recently been in. Unfortunately, nearly ninety percent of the thugs were slaughtered by the Imperial Army during the assault.

Only less than ten, including himself, managed to break through the blockade. But to their regret, they beca pri targets for the Orlando Empire, with each fugitive having hundreds, even up to a thousand, soldiers in pursuit.

And because of his outstanding performance during the breakout, Aeolus had the ‘honor’ of having the most pursuers of any thug who had managed to escape.

“I’ve found you, Aeolus! This ti, where can you run?”

After several rounds of being hunted and counter-hunting, Aeolus successfully attracted the legendary attention of the Orlando Empire, only to be confronted and stopped by a fearsoly powerful being after a series of encirclents.

A palm covered in sapphire scales tore through space, reaching out to grab him. Space twisted wherever it passed, and in that mont, Aeolus found himself sowhat unable to move.

“Damn it!” Faced with what seed like inescapable doom, a look of ferocity flashed in Aeolus’s eyes. Bright arcs flickered within them, and then, his body slightly swelled, the clothes on his back bulging as though sothing was about to burst forth!

But soon, with the appearance of rune after rune interconnecting into an imnse, unimaginably complex magic array, all the abnormalities on Aeolus’s body were suppressed.

“Humph!” Although Aeolus failed to break free from his bonds, the sudden phenona he displayed caused the owner of the sapphire-scaled hand to pause for a mont.

“The audacity!” Inside the towering Imperial Palace of Xena Pus, Muria, seated high upon the Imperial Throne, slowly opened his eyes. Reflected in his golden pupils was Aeolus, frantically trying to break the seal laid by his father, to draw upon his true power to turn around his dire situation.

“How dare they lay hands on my son!”

“I’m dood, this is it, I’m finished. Why can’t I break this damn seal? There’s only a thin layer left!”

Feeling the sapphire-scaled hand drawing ever closer behind him, Aeolus’s face grew anxious, yet his mood remained calm, for he knew he wasn’t alone—soone was supporting him from behind!

Boom!

Aeolus had just leaped over a mountaintop, and in the next mont, space atop the mountain where he had been collapsed and shattered. Then a hand, trailing Thunder and wrapped in armor, reached out, directly intercepting the huge sapphire-scaled palm.

“As a legend, to strike like a Soul Intent Level, don’t you find it beneath the dignity of a legend?” A grand yet dignified, slightly ethereal voice echoed from the space rift.

anwhile, the hand wreathed in Golden Thunder had grasped the sapphire-scaled palm and, with a bone-crushing and scale-shattering noise, followed by a pained grunt.

“Who are you?”

“I’m just a passerby who can’t stand the sight of the strong bullying the weak!”

“Heh heh!” The current Emperor of Orlando, with three broken fingers, scoffed coldly but didn’t fully believe Muria’s claims. “Before interfering with my affairs, did you bother to find out who I am?”

“I think, given my identity, I don’t need to inquire about the other party’s identity beforehand, regardless of what I choose to intervene in!”
