The Elf Queen’s eyes also flashed with cold light as she said, "Tian Ying, where are those friends who ca to our aid? Can they be trusted?"

Tian Ying respectfully replied, "Your Majesty, I have arranged for them to rest by the shore of Elf Lake. They should be trustworthy. Do you rember Yan Fei, the Clan Leader of the Pu Yan tribe? Among these people is his son, and the child who repelled the enemy is still in a coma. I think they wouldn’t harm our clan."

The Elf Queen sighed and said, "Alright, go and summon the other great Elf Envoys. I have matters to discuss with them. Perhaps, this matter truly requires the help of these outsiders to be resolved."

In a treehouse by the shore of Elf Lake, while everyone was enjoying sweet fruits, Ah Dai slowly ca to from his slumber, feeling weak and powerless throughout his body. He moved his limbs and couldn’t help but groan, his body’s True Qi nearly depleted, with only faint energy fluctuations remaining, and his spiritual power completely exhausted from invoking the Dragon’s Blood.

Xuan Yue was the first to notice Ah Dai was awake and quickly grabbed his hand, asking with concern, "Ah Dai, how are you feeling? Are you uncomfortable anywhere?"

Ah Dai shook his head and said, "I’m fine, just tired, Yue Yue, where is this place?"

Everyone clustered around, and Moon Scar said, "We have already reached the interior of the Elf Clan, this is Elf City."

Ah Dai nodded and asked, "Were those elves saved?"

Xuan Yue replied, "Don’t worry, those bad people are gone, and a lot of elves ca afterward to bring us here. Here, have a fruit first," she said, passing a purple fruit to him.

Ah Dai tried to reach for it, but couldn’t muster the strength, and his arm fell onto the grass. Xuan Yue frowned, her eyes revealing a pained expression. She bit off a piece of the fruit and then brought it to Ah Dai’s mouth. The light purple juice flowed into Ah Dai’s mouth, and he swallowed it continuously. In a short while, he had consud all the juice from the fruit.

Xuan Yue threw the fruit peel aside and asked, "Do you want more? There’s plenty."

Ah Dai looked at Xuan Yue gratefully, gently shook his head, and said in a low voice, "Thank you, Yue Yue."

Xuan Yue, reminded of her own gesture of feeding Ah Dai, blushed and shook her head, "Thank for what? Aren’t we friends?"

Miao Fei chuckled and said, "And very close friends at that! Ah Dai, shouldn’t you explain how you managed to scare those bandits away?"

Upon hearing Miao Fei’s question, Ah Dai suddenly rembered the scene of killing in the forest, the image of the man in black turning into a mummified corpse vividly coming to mind, an intense feeling of nausea overwhelming him. He turned to the side abruptly and began to vomit violently. Everyone was startled, and Yan Shi hurriedly ca over, patting Ah Dai’s back continuously and asking with concern, "Brother, what’s wrong with you?"

After a long while, when there was nothing left in Ah Dai to vomit, he stopped and muttered dully, "I didn’t an it; I don’t want to kill, I don’t want to kill!"

Yan Shi breathed a sigh of relief and said, "I thought sothing serious happened. It’s just killing a few people, right? I’ve killed many more than you, and they were all bad people; they deserved it."

Yue Ji leaned in and asked, "Ah Dai, was this the first ti you’ve killed soone?"

Ah Dai nodded blankly, shrank back, and said, "I didn’t want to kill him, they forced ."

Miao Fei said, "What’s the big deal with killing a few people? Co on, Ah Dai, tell us how you killed that skilled man in black. I didn’t expect you to have such hidden depths!"

Ah Dai raised his head to look at Miao Fei, thinking back to the mont he wielded the Sword of Hades, fear apparent in his eyes as he said tremblingly, "No, I don’t know, I don’t know."

Miao Fei frowned and said, "Don’t know? How could you not know? You’re the one who killed him, co on, tell us, I’m really curious."

Xuan Yue suddenly pushed Miao Fei away, snapping, "Stop pressuring him, can’t you see how much pain he’s in? Let him rest for a while, okay?" She tenderly embraced Ah Dai’s upper body into her arms, letting him rest his head on her thigh, watching Ah Dai’s pained expression made her heart twist painfully, her beautiful eyes reddening, and teardrops falling onto Ah Dai’s shoulder.

Moon Scar gestured to everyone, pulling Miao Fei to the corner of the treehouse. Nobody wanted to disturb Xuan Yue and Ah Dai anymore, and they all quietly retreated to the side.

Xuan Yue gently stroked Ah Dai’s black hair, murmuring, "It’s alright, it’s all over now." She was well aware that Ah Dai’s kind nature and the Sword of Hades’s malevolence were completely at odds; after such a huge shock, how could he accept it?

Under Xuan Yue’s gentle touch, Ah Dai gradually cald down, gripping her hand and pressing it against his face, slling her faint fragrance and quietly drifting into sleep. Watching Ah Dai’s peaceful sleeping face, Xuan Yue felt a sense of fulfillnt, letting Ah Dai hold her hand, resting her face against his head, and gradually falling asleep.

After a while, Ah Dai felt soone shaking his body. Slowly opening his eyes, he saw Yan Shi squatting beside him, calling his na.
