Kill Me Protect Me, Mr. Bodyguard Chapter 57: Am I An Annoying Omega For You?

Daren didn’t expect what he had just heard, he felt sad when he found out that Axel had been thinking of him as an annoying Oga.

’I thought he had feelings for , but apparently...’ His eyes dropped, portraying the pain in his blue eyes because of that.

"Daren, I’m sorry. I should have paid more attention to you so that you wouldn’t feel lonely and end up liking an Alpha like him. He’s just a bodyguard, he can’t possibly think of you as anything more than an Oga that he guards and eventually gets paid for, that’s all," Ivan explained then hugged Daren back and rubbed his back.

He could only remain silent as he buried his face into Ivan’s shoulder. This was the first ti he felt so disappointed by an Alpha. Feeling heartbroken when he first fell in love with soone.

"What should I do?" asked Daren.

His mind said to stay away from Axel, but his heart refused to believe Axel’s words that sounded so spontaneous without thinking first.

Did he really just think of Daren as an annoying Oga?

Was everything they did just an obligation to Axel because he was his bodyguard?

Daren didn’t know.

He felt like going ho and not seeing Axel for a while.

Not long after, Axel arrived with a car. He saw that Ivan was hugging Daren at the mont. It made him very jealous, seeing the Oga in the arms of another man.

He reflexively stopped the car and got out just to separate the two of them. However, his steps were halted because he knew he shouldn’t do that. He shouldn’t feel jealous because he saw Daren with soone else.

’I shouldn’t feel like this, I shouldn’t try to separate the two of them. That Oga is a target for to kill soday, why would I feel this insignificant?’ he thought with annoyance at that mont.

However, his hands were clenched tightly into fists, trying to restrain himself from doing sothing far away later.

Seeing Axel who had co, Ivan released his hug and rubbed Daren’s head in front of the Alpha.

"Never mind, there’s no need to feel sad. Now you know the truth, so you better stop liking him and keep your distance from him or he’ll hate you even more because he finds you so annoying," he told Daren so that the blond man would listen to his words.

It was all for his own good, and so that Daren wouldn’t have to feel the pain and disappointnt of another Alpha.

"I’ll introduce you to a good Alpha who isn’t like him. So you don’t have to worry, okay?"

"Yes, thank you," replied Daren who began to trust Ivan again and listened to everything the Beta said.

’Ivan helped again, I should have listened to him from the start,’ Daren thought.

The two n then turned to Axel who approached them and asked what happened. Especially after he saw Daren and Ivan hugging each other.

"It’s nothing, Daren just needed a little hug to make him feel better, right Daren?"

"Umnn..." replied Daren who only hums softly and then looks away from Axel, as if he doesn’t want to look at the man.

Axel’s eyes narrowed sharply, seeing Daren’s sudden change in deanor. Especially seeing the man who turned his face away from him.

’What else is this damn Beta saying to him? Why is that Oga so unwilling to look at ? Or is it who’s looking the wrong way?’

"Then get in the car, we’re going to find a place for lunch," he said and got in the car first.

Daren, who had been sitting next to Axel, moved to the back seat along with Ivan and continued to remain silent without saying anything.

He kept watching from the rearview mirror in the center of the car, looking at Daren who was just staring out the window with empty eyes.

’What’s wrong with him? Why is he so quiet like that, when he wasn’t like that before.’

When Axel glanced at Ivan from the rearview mirror, Ivan was looking at him with a sharp gaze as if he was warning him of sothing.

But he imdiately turned his gaze back to the road rather than thinking about what Ivan ant.

They finally arrived at a family restaurant and had lunch. But Daren still looked unenthused, he just stirred his potato salad without eating it.

"Don’t play with your food, isn’t that your favorite food?" Axel asked while watching the man.

"Hmnn..." Daren responded without saying anything else.

Axel was really confused by Daren’s drastic change. Whereas yesterday they had just slept in each other’s arms for just one night. However, now the Oga seed to not care about him.

He did not know that Daren’s attitude had changed because of him.

They had originally planned to go sightseeing until the afternoon, but after lunch, Daren asked to return to the hotel because he felt his head hurt so much.

"I want to rest, let’s continue tomorrow. There’s still one day before we go ho," he said as he leaned back in his chair.

The Beta man pulled him gently to lean on his shoulder. He rubbed Daren’s head as he said that everything would be okay because he was there.

Once at the hotel, Daren imdiately lay down on his bed and faced the wall. He sighed heavily and tried to sleep, trying to shake off the fatigue he suddenly felt.

Hoping that when he woke up, he’d forgotten everything he knew.

’He thinks of as an annoying Oga. So all this ti... Did our fun the past few days also make him feel uncomfortable? Why did he just stay quiet without saying anything?’ Daren’s thoughts made him feel even more dizzy.

The bodyguard, who was sitting on his bed, looked at the exhausted Daren. He thought that maybe Oga’s attitude had changed because he was tired. Especially after four days in Mocoado, they kept going to various places until late at night.

For so reason, it made him worry. Axel stood up from his bed and approached his young master.

"Hey, are you feeling sick? If so, I’ll buy you so dicine," he said.

"No need," Daren replied curtly.

Axel, however, tried to get a sense of the Oga’s condition. He slowly touched Daren’s head to see if he had a fever or not.

However, his hand was suddenly swatted away violently by Daren which made Axel surprised because of the sudden blow on his hand.
