After almost 30 minutes Liam finally woke up from his stupor, but he couldn’t move his neck because it was so painful. Even speaking was difficult but he could still respond when Daren started to approach him.

"You’re lucky that I begged my lover to let you go. Otherwise you would be dead by now," he said.

"Yes... Thank you," Liam replied in a hoarse voice. He still looked scared because of that.

"But you still want to live, right? I could have let you go and you could still be alive. As long as you never say this to anyone. I don’t want any ss related to or ’Mr. Calvin’. If the police or anyone else finds out about this, you will know the risk you will get. Do you understand?"

Liam replied that he understood and promised not to say this as long as he was kept alive. He looked really scared and traumatized and when he saw Victor there, he imdiately cried and didn’t want to see him anymore.

"G-go! Go away! I don’t want to die now, please let live!" he cried upon seeing the alpha.

Seeing that, Daren gave Victor the code to get out of the way first.

"Well, then you’ll have to keep your word."

Daren and Victor finally agreed to take Liam to a park and leave him there. Since Liam was afraid of Victor, Daren had to carry him.

He carried Liam on his back with Victor walking at a distance behind, making sure they were not approached by another alpha.

"I didn’t know he was so horrible that he would think of doing sothing like that," Liam said quietly as his neck ached.

"Sotis you never know what’s behind a person. Sotis they’re not what they seem, maybe when you first t him he seed really nice. But now you can see what he’s really like," replied Daren, who remained focused on looking ahead.

He was reminded of Sam when the man was still Ivan. Everything was so sweet and fine, until he showed his true nature as Sam. Sotis it made him miss him terribly.

"Have you ever been strangled by him yourself? Has he always been that rude?"

Daren replied that Victor had never hurt him, but the man was very aggressive. That made Liam curious how Daren and Victor had ended up together. However, Daren responded with laughter, saying that it was a long story, but it was strange that the two of them ended up together.

"I also don’t understand how I beca his boyfriend. I never thought of having a lover at all since long ago. But it’s strange that she’s suddenly already in my heart. What an intruder," he replied with a chuckle.

"I just wanted to find soone who might really love . But in reality he’s not as good as I thought he was," Liam said sadly.

He left the teenager on the park bench, and watched from a distance until the ambulance arrived. The ambulance took Liam away, Daren and Victor were finally free of the obsessive Oga.

"You’re too nice to him. He’s been saying terrible things about you," Victor said as he walked back to his house with his hand clasped in Daren’s.

"I’ve t soone far worse than him, and I don’t think he deserved to die this quickly," Daren replied.

"You speak as if you know who does and doesn’t deserve to live."

Again Daren laughed at Victor’s response.

"Just like you, you behave as if you know who should live and die just because of your job. What if he could have had a much better life but you cut him off midway just because of the job you have," Daren replied.

Victor snorted softly at Daren’s comnt. Sotis he himself felt confused by his job, why human lives were so easy to eliminate and replace with money. Their lives were just a pile of money given to the agents and they could finally eliminate soone they considered an obstacle.

"What’s the point of thinking about it? It will never change because everything has gotten easier including taking soone’s life. But forget it, there are more important things now!"

The alpha turned to his lover with a confused look, what was the more important thing he was talking about.

In the end they went to the nearest convenience store to buy so food there as well as the snacks Daren wanted.

Victor opened the drinks fridge to get the canned coffee that was there. As he turned around, he noticed soone familiar had just arrived at the convenience store.

A well-built man with long black hair that he always tied in a ponytail, walked into the convenience store.

He followed the man, trying to get a better look at him and when he realized who he was, the look in his eyes was intense and his hands were clenched into tight fists.
