Chapter 2254: Chapter 2254: Past, Present, and Future

Instantly switching from Bu Liu City to a pure white space, Xu Huo realized that he had entered a third of the ga. He saw a floating block in front of him that looked like a Magic Cube, and his first reaction was to open his personal panel, but the ga seed to have lost contact, and no matter what he did, he couldn’t call it out.

After unsuccessful attempts, he looked again at the Water Rubik’s Cube in front of him.

This must be the Water Rubik’s Cube that the stranded players ntioned.

The overall shape looks like a Magic Cube, the liquid flowing like water woven into the squares of the cube, but every stream of water should be connected, so the cube looks like a flow of living water.

But it is not real water, rather a cluster intertwined with multiple strands of Ti Force. It is estimated that players who have not undergone Temporal Evolution at all can feel the chaotic, different, and exceptionally dense forces on it. Not to ntion touching it, even approaching it makes one’s heart race.

Xu Huo did not probe the Water Rubik’s Cube. After a mont of silence, a stream divided from the cube and gradually ford a line of text in the air:

"In your view, what is the most important among the past, present, and future? You can rank them."

The words "past," "present," and "future" floated out from the problem, approaching Xu Huo to make it easier for him to choose.

Past, present, future. Seeing these three terms can make one understand that the so-called third of the ga refers to these three. Where there’s sothing most important, there’s sothing least important. Many who have played the ga in Bu Liu City have lost their past mories, indicating that the stakes in this round are one of the three: losing the "past" equals losing past mories.

In general, "future" is usually considered more important because the past cannot be changed, the present is already shaped, and only the future is full of unknowns, being more of a psychological support for many.

It seems that this ranking and bet are not random. With more people losing mories, the bet may start from the last of the three.

Xu Huo picked "past" at a distance, placing it first, followed by "present" and "future."

Once the ranking of the three words was completed, the Water Rubik’s Cube suddenly disassembled, wrapping around him, and he floated weightlessly. In the next second, Ti Force "spat" him out, and the scenery ahead changed again, with a huge green wall replacing the white space. In front were several tall doorways, and inside the doorways were the sa walls, resembling a maze.

Around him were many others sent by the Water Rubik’s Cube. All of them stood still, alert, upon seeing the maze ahead.

In a few minutes, more than a hundred people had already gathered outside the maze, including players and ordinary people. Players were fine, while so ordinary people sat down on the ground, unable to recover for half a day.

Xu Huo looked around and didn’t see a familiar face.

In Bu Liu City, many people used props to change their appearance, but after entering this space, all the props on them beca ineffective, even the fake skin stuck on their faces fell off.

Xu Huo stuffed the imitation mask into his pocket and took a step forward.

"What are you doing!" A player in front of him suddenly turned around and shouted, "Don’t move around before the ga starts!"

Seeing the other’s panicked expression, as if they would lose control the next second, Xu Huo stopped and said, "I just want to see what’s ahead. Is that a maze?"

Unfortunately, the other party only wanted him to stop and did not want to converse.

So people ca first; unlike the newcors, these people knew so ga rules but stood still, their gaze tightly fixed on the maze entrance ahead.

When the number of people outside the maze increased to two hundred, the Water Rubik’s Cube began flowing again, gradually gathering in the sky to form words.

"Welco everyone to the third of the ga—Spatial Prison. From now on, you will receive an identity from Prison Guards and Prisoners. Once matched, the identity will not change."

"The ga will provide rooms corresponding to the number of Prison Guards and double that for Prisoners. Obtaining the corresponding identity key is the only way for Prison Guards and Prisoners to return to their rooms at eight o’clock each morning. If they fail to return at this ti, it will be considered a loss of the ga."

"Eight o’clock every morning till eight o’clock at night is rest ti. During this period, only Prison Guards can go out, and they can open any Prisoner’s room."

"Eight o’clock every night until eight o’clock the next morning is free ti. All Prisoners must leave their rooms, and the keys obtained will be randomly reset. During free ti, Prisoners may not attack Prison Guards, and Prison Guards may not kill Prisoners."

"Prison Guards must kill three Prisoners each day, and a cumulative total of twenty-one Prisoners counts as a win. Losing the key will result in losing the Prison Guard identity and the ga."

"Prisoners winning the ga is when they seize the Prison Guard’s key during the day."

"This ga is tid for seven days, and the number of Prisoners killed during the ga will accumulate into the instance clearance task count."

Three minutes after the flowing words suspended in the air, they reford into a giant Water Rubik’s Cube, and at the sa ti, several streams flew out, shooting in different directions and forming the words "Prison Guard" above so people’s heads.

Xu Huo was among them.

Looking around, out of more than two hundred people, only five were Prison Guards, aning the rest were all Prisoners.

Soone shouted "Find the key," causing the people in front of the maze to move, rushing towards the maze entrance.

Xu Huo moved with the crowd. He hadn’t run far before a player took advantage of the chaos to attack, dodging the short knife. He had no ti to say anything as a Water Rubik’s Cube suddenly appeared above the attacker, pouring down and reconverging on the ground, leaving no trace of the player as if they never existed.

"Is this person crazy?" A female player who had "Prison Guard" above her head approached voluntarily. "I said, we can’t attack Prison Guards during free ti, and there are still three hours to eight in the morning."

She smiled at Xu Huo after speaking, "We’re all Prison Guards, let’s cooperate!"

"No problem," Xu Huo agreed happily, "Let’s find the key first."

The two ran with the crowd, shouting to the people ahead not to hide the Prison Guard key.

"During the day, letting Prison Guards open your doors is your only way to win the ga. Hide the key now, and you’ll only lose without Prison Guards!" The female player shouted with her hands in a gaphone shape.

Just after shouting twice, a conflict arose in the crowded group ahead. A tall man grabbed another player by the throat and lifted him, searching him for a key and throwing it violently towards Xu Huo’s direction!
