“I appreciate the gesture, but it’s unnecessary.” Xu Huo averted his gaze, “Do the fish and vegetables you eat grow out of your body?”
The Girl in the painting pondered for a mont, then quoted nutritional content she read on the Collection of Information Terminal, “Every bite you take becos part of your body’s composition.”
“That’s useless, better to have the kitchen stew a chicken.” Xu Huo laughed, “Take these to Mr. Dong, and ask him to co up.”
The Girl in the painting took the items and left. Shortly after, Mr. Dong ca up, knowing what Xu Huo wanted to ask, he said, “Miss Li Chun wants human blood, but those young ladies fooled her with animal blood. I’ve explained to them this is just Miss Li Chun’s playful whim, not that you are a Cannibal Player.”
Xu Huo didn’t seem to care much about this but said, “Please convey to those people that Li Chun is not very sensible, ask them not to join in the mischief.”
Mr. Dong slightly bowed and quietly exited the study.
After a brief rest, Xu Huo entered the enclosed space again.
It went on like this for ten days until his body couldn’t handle it anymore, forcing him to cease the attempt.
“Feeling lightheaded and weak at the knees?” Dr. Deng teased him with schadenfreude, “Young man, you should restrain yourself a bit. I see many people trying to establish relations with Rose Castle recently, even Black Epaulette sent gifts. Why not choose one to help manage the castle?”
Xu Huo laughed, “You don’t seem to be short on money now, right?”
Dr. Deng cut a slice of at and slowly chewed it, “Money is always scarce; your jokes, however, are not as frequent.”
Xu Huo ignored him, “Go out less frequently these days; rember you registered with Black Epaulette.”
Dr. Deng replied casually, “As the water rises, so do the boats; Black Epaulette wouldn’t dare act against Rose Castle now.”
“Then suit yourself.” Xu Huo said, “If you disappear quietly, I wouldn’t know where to find you.”
Despite his tough talk, Dr. Deng still valued his life, and dropped the topic.
After dinner, Xu Huo changed into more formal attire to visit Lady Lily.
This ti, Lady Lily received him in a formal eting room, even the decor was solemn.
“We’re old friends; if Lady Lily receives
like this, I won’t dare co next ti.” Xu Huo said politely as he presented his gift.
Lady Lily cast him a resentful glance, “I knew you weren’t ordinary. Now that the Werna Household has set their sights on you, there’s no room for others.”
Xu Huo smiled silently, not addressing her comnt.
Lady Lily understood he was no longer the newcor who could be joked with casually, and after serving tea and snacks, she spoke about the situation with the Nobles in Zone 011, mainly discussing family taboos to help him avoid offending anyone.
“As long as conflicts aren’t too severe, everything remains civil on the surface.” Lady Lily said, “It’s okay to be diplomatic with everyone, but beware of those who might secretly trip you.”
Xu Huo’s main reason for visiting was to inquire about Hua Han Werna’s identity.
Lady Lily knew of him, “He’s a player from the Werna Family and sotis represents the Werna Household in etings with other families. He’s highly ranked within the Werna Household, rarely appearing elsewhere, almost never attending the Nobles’ gatherings.”
“Is he a Super Player?” Xu Huo asked again.
Surprise flashed through Lady Lily’s eyes, pausing her tea-drinking motion, she laughed, “You’re joking; how could Hua Han Werna be a Super Player? The Werna Household’s Super Players mostly travel outside, even their own family rarely sees them, let alone outsiders. Plus, with such status and power, why would he be entertaining at ho?”
Xu Huo laughed along, “Has no outsider ever seen that Super Player?”
“Very few have.” Lady Lily said, “After all, Zone 011 has been part of the ga for so ti, becoming a Super Player definitely ans they were among the earliest players from Zone 011, significantly older than us. Even my father missed the chance to et him.”
“Even when you ask junior mbers of the Werna Household, they mostly don’t know what their Super Player looks like.”

“The Collection of Information Terminal seldom contains details about the Super Player.” Xu Huo paused then continued.
“Confidential archives aren’t likely available in public information channels.” Lady Lily said, half-concealed behind her fan, “Moreover, before the Super Player beca Zone 011’s pillar, they received noble care just like you.”
“But if you’re truly curious about the Super Player, you might negotiate with the Werna Household.” She added, “Inquiring from outsiders might not yield the answers you desire and could seem suspicious in motive. If the Werna Household truly wants to accept you, your proactive approach would be viewed as sincerity.”
“Of all the people, only you’ve obtained the Black Key; you must possess sothing others don’t, and the Werna Household values greatly.” Lady Lily said as she rubbed the rim of her cup, “Xiya Werna appearing before you is a signal.”
“Power and interests are tempting, but when necessary, they should be abandoned; compared to one’s life, they hold little significance. To make soone risk their life, aside from an elusive belief, there likely remains a sense of belonging. Since you’re not originally from Zone 011, the most convenient way to create this sense of belonging is to establish a family.”
“Treat Zone 011 as your ho, only then will your ho unconditionally embrace you.”
Under Xu Huo’s gaze, she paused her remarks, then smiled, “If you really don’t like the girls from the Werna Household, consider other options; handled well, everyone will accept this.”
“Of course, I also hope you’ll remain in Zone 011; having a powerful friend is my fortune.”
At that mont, Lady Lily and Zone 011’s Nobles ford a community of interest. Her words subtly suggested Xu Huo bring his family to Zone 011, reducing his troubles while gaining Noble support quickly. Additionally, avoiding deeper ties with the Werna Household was more beneficial for most Nobles.
