Chapter 2000: Chapter 2000: Hive World
Zheng Yuci rely glanced down, and the small hexagon that appeared beside him automatically sliced the Shadow Hand into pieces. He turned to look in the direction of Xu Huo, and the large hexagonal barrier behind him abruptly halted. Then, it quickly flew past him, all heading towards Xu Huo’s location. anwhile, countless hexagonal portals appeared in the sky. Even though they didn’t form a closed field, these hexagonal barriers still crisscrossed back and forth, completely plowing this area.
The hexagonal barriers, larger than humans, flew wildly in the city, occasionally moving to places with mutant plants as Xu Huo moved. At such tis, countless leaves would rise into the sky. Amidst the chaotic view, Xu Huo quickly shifted positions through the ntal Portal, yet Zheng Yuci, standing at the Argor Headquarters, kept his gaze locked on him.
Of course, Xu Huo didn’t move too far, as the Psyche Force Materialization he arranged was all nearby. Losing a hand was no big deal; there were plenty of opportunities to strike.
One way or another, his Spirit Evolution level couldn’t match Zheng Yuci’s, so he used a little trick to hide the Materialized Item in the shadow—be it the shadow of a building, the shadow of a prop flying by, or even the shadow of the rift created by the hexagonal ground. Wherever there’s a shadow, the Materialized Item can go undercover because its form is inherently closer to a shadow.
Although Zheng Yuci hadn’t changed his position, he was occasionally attacked by Materialized Items suddenly attached from the underground or collapsed buildings. Moreover, as ti progressed, the shadows elongated from afar quickly transford into flying objects, such as the stones carried away by hexagonal barriers. In the end, even flying leaves could be used to conceal Materialized Items—this showed the person controlling spiritual power not only learned to enlarge and reduce but also understood how to disperse spiritual power and could operate remotely!
"Truly talented," Zheng Yuci praised, and the next second, he passed through a ntal Portal to halt before Xu Huo. Ignoring the Defense Prop on Xu Huo, he directly pressed his hand on Xu Huo’s shoulder. Then, the two were sealed within a semicircular barrier made of hexagons. At the mont they were enclosed, Xu Huo felt pressed against the air by countless large hands, restrained and trapped. His view changed from Zheng Yuci to a few gigantic tentacles filled with eyeballs, dozens or hundreds of eyes staring intently at him.
In a sense, it had an eerie, absurd feeling.
With a movent of Xu Huo’s hand, the shadow curled underfoot split into dozens of lines, bouncing nearly thirty ters away before peeling from the ground. They stood upright and gathered like a bouquet in the center, instantly slicing Zheng Yuci’s "Operating Room" into pieces. However, this did not entirely collapse the "Operating Room" because there was a larger "Operating Room" outside the small one. The two barely distanced themselves, only to be ensnared again by hexagonal barriers the next second. Zheng Yuci stood in front of him, almost maintaining the previous posture, yet the force exerted by the hand pressing on Xu Huo’s shoulder grew stronger; simultaneously, he seed to undergo a change.
It wasn’t Xu Huo’s illusion. The Zheng Yuci within the reford "Operating Room" had grown taller!
This was abnormal because in the Spiritual World, any changes in perception could be due to the opponent’s ntal Interference, not hallucinations. Whether seen by the eyes or sensed spatially, Zheng Yuci underwent changes!
The materialized long blade from Xu Huo’s spiritual power stood up from beneath his feet, slicing the "Zheng Yuci" in front of him in two. Watching the person turned into two shadows, Xu Huo completely pulled out the library, opening its door casually and walking inside.
Inside the library, rooms up and down, left and right on each floor alternated and changed, capable of transforming into hundreds or thousands more, even splitting a building into two and two into four. However, against an opponent like Zheng Yuci, re quantity had little effect, so Xu Huo focused his energies on this one building, frequently shuttling between different rooms.
However, this didn’t buy much ti. Within less than a minute, two hexagonal barriers approximately ten ters high crashed into the library, swiftly slicing the building into pieces. Xu Huo was forced to exit the library, but upon doing so, the scene before him astonished him. In a brief mont, not only had the hexagonal barriers enlarged several tis, but even the surrounding entities—buildings, plants, and streets—all had grown. Moreover, Zheng Yuci, pursuing him, had also grown several people taller, and a slight lift of the foot could squash him!
Due to the change in size proportion, Xu Huo’s movent beca more strenuous. Leveraging Spatial Power, he could cover the farthest distance of 2000 ters, but as he shrank, this length remained unchanged for him, yet for Zheng Yuci, it diminished several tis. Concurrently, surrounding hexagonal barriers proliferated more and more, still frantically reproducing during attacks, soon covering half the city. After the sky was sealed, these hexagons began interconnecting, forming small warehouses—they were building a hive!
Both in the domain of Argor Headquarters and the earlier uncompleted escape from Zheng Yuci were aid at consuming his Psychic Power. Yet, even Xu Huo himself hadn’t anticipated Zheng Yuci’s Spirit Evolution reaching such an extent; the longer the current situation lasted, the more disadvantageous it beca for him.
With a slight pause, Xu Huo took out the "Sa District Teleportation Gate," yet even amid the explosion-ravaged Argor Headquarters, the Spatial Teleportation Device remained ineffective. Despite suspecting Zheng Yuci might possess a ti-space Super Props, Xu Huo still didn’t use "Three Seconds of a Lifeti" but instead held the Black Blade to carve a large hole in the ground, leaping into the underground structure, wearing the "Life Core," maximizing the destruction of underground tal fraworks.
Due to repeated bombings of Argor Headquarters, both surfaces and underground parts heavily relied on tal for avoiding total collapse. Now that these primary tal fraworks were powdered, areas started rapidly crumbling outward from the Argor Headquarters center. The ground was brittle like biscuit pieces falling away, massive smoke and dust surged from underground, covering the city center in monts!
Xu Huo had no intention of demolishing the entire city, so upon the Eastern District players led by Teacher Zhao coming to stop him, he halted. Nonetheless, his main aim remained sabotaging the underground equipnt; if not Zheng Yuci, then the most likely culprit was the giant machinery underneath interfering with the Spatial Artifact.
Yet, upon returning to the surface, he realized he had overestimated Argor and underestimated Zheng Yuci.
