Red Child looked at the rolling sea and sighed softly, "Thank you!"
Dragon Princess’s face imdiately showed a joyous smile, feeling that her efforts had not been in vain, and Little Black Bear’s attitude had also improved a lot.
"It’s just that I’ve been feeling restless lately, always feeling as if sothing might have happened at ho, which is why I ca to the seaside to clear my mind," Red Child gently explained.
"If that’s the case, why not go ho and have a look?" Little Black Bear asked.
"But, would the Bodhisattva agree?" At this mont, Red Child’s face no longer held a cold expression but instead beca sowhat anxious as he asked.
Dragon Princess, however, laughed and said, "Red Child, you really are silly. You are Sudhana, the Bodhisattva’s child servant, not a slave. Just talk to the Bodhisattva, and there shouldn’t be any problems, I guess."
Hope instantly flashed across Red Child’s face; he had never hoped as he did at this mont for Bodhisattva Guanyin to return soon.
Two days later, Auspicious Clouds gathered over Luojia Mountain in the South Sea, and fragrances filled the air. Red Child and Dragon Princess hurried out to respectfully welco the arrival of the Bodhisattva.
Soon they saw the Bodhisattva descending from the clouds with Hui An Traveler, and seeing Dragon Princess and Red Child welcoming her, she smiled and asked, "What sort of wind has blown today that made you two little ones co out to et on your own initiative?"
This question made Red Child quite embarrassed, standing there, not daring to reply, while Dragon Princess playfully said, "Bodhisattva, how can you say that about ? I’m always very enthusiastic about welcoming you!"
"Pfft!" A light laugh ca, and it turned out to be Hui An Traveler, who couldn’t help but laugh.
Dragon Princess imdiately beca annoyed and said, "Muzha brother, what’s so funny?"
Muzha replied with a laugh, "Oh dear, today I slept in late. Oh dear, today I forgot to recite the scriptures." It turned out he was mimicking Dragon Princess’s past words; the young girl, being playful, often forgot to welco the Bodhisattva and would use such excuses to explain herself away.
The teasing words made Dragon Princess twist her small body in embarrassnt, causing both Guanyin and Hui An to laugh heartily.
"Speak up, you two little ones rarely co out to greet like this, it can’t be that your conscience suddenly struck you. Is it that you’re asking for sothing?" Continue your adventure at .Côm
Bodhisattva Guanyin was an extraordinary figure, and seeing the reactions of the two little ones, she could guess their intentions and thus asked with a smile.
"Your disciple yearns for ho deeply, hoping for Bodhisattva’s great compassion to allow your disciple to return ho for a visit," Red Child kneeled down with a thump and said with a nervous look on his face. This was the first ti in his life he had willingly kneeled down.
Upon hearing this, Bodhisattva Guanyin slightly furrowed her brows and asked, "When you were Great Sage the Holy Infant, you were also away from your parents for a long ti. Now you wish to return ho for a visit; could it be that there has been so sort of mishap?"
"To not hide from the Bodhisattva, your disciple has been feeling uneasy lately, always feeling as if sothing is about to happen at ho, hence the desire to return," Red Child told the truth.
Bodhisattva Guanyin pondered for a long ti and then said, "This is likely a warning from the True Spirit. Being a reincarnation of the Fire Sprite with Spiritual Charm, your Spiritual Nature is stronger than ordinary beings, and having such a premonition is not surprising."
The words of the Bodhisattva instantly raised Red Child’s heart, and he asked eagerly, "Could it be that sothing has happened to my parents?"
"Although I have the fruit of the Bodhisattva, even I cannot see through fate. I’m rely deducing from your reactions," Bodhisattva Guanyin said. But Red Child knew, to people like Bodhisattva Guanyin, whatever was said was almost guaranteed to be true, therefore his heart grew even more anxious and his eyes pleaded with Guanyin.
"Honoring one’s parents is the foundation of human relations and is indeed the right path; thus, I grant you permission to visit your family," the Bodhisattva said.
Having finished speaking, he pulled off a willow leaf from the branch attached to the Purifying Vase and placed it in Red Child’s hand, saying, "Your journey ahead is fraught with unpredictable fortunes and dangers. I give you this willow leaf, it may save your life in tis of crisis."
Red Child received the leaf with utmost respect and sincerely kowtowed three tis, the sound so loud that it startled Muzha standing beside him.
"Thank you, Bodhisattva, for your rcy. I shall depart now," he said before turning to leave.
Anxiously, the Dragon Princess pleaded from the side, "Bodhisattva, please let accompany him. In case of any mishap, it’s better to have soone to look after him."
The Bodhisattva looked at the Dragon Princess’s pleading face, knowing that she always considered herself a protective sister. She was worried about Red Child’s safety and thus nodded in agreent.
Overjoyed, the Dragon Princess jumped up and, after heartily thanking the Bodhisattva, set off with Red Child.
"Dragon Princess, you should not go, it’s too dangerous there!" Red Child said, looking at her with deep gratitude and trying to persuade her.
"Don’t underestimate , Red Child. When it cos to Magical Treasures, I am not lacking compared to you. Besides, the Bodhisattva has agreed, so what is there to be afraid of?" The Dragon Princess spoke the truth; the Dragon Clan possessed many treasures, and with nine brothers, all but Xiao Qi holding positions in the Heavenly Court, they were particularly fond of their little sister and always gave her their finest possessions.
Moreover, the Dragon Princess, charming and sweet-tongued, often accompanied the Bodhisattva on visits, earning many gifts from others. She was undoubtedly considered the wealthiest on Mount Luojia.
The two youngsters had not yet left Mount Luojia when they heard a youthful voice cry out, "Wait for !"
They turned to see Little Black Bear running toward them, and the Dragon Princess frowned slightly, "Xiao Hei, what are you doing here? Hurry back ho!"
But Little Black Bear protested, "Don’t think of sending away. I heard that you’re going to Red Child’s ho to play!"
"We are not going to play; it’s dangerous. Go back now, and I promise we will take you with us next ti."
However, Little Black Bear patted his small chest and said, "I am the famous Black Wind King. Leave any difficult opponents to . Dragon Princess, you can rest assured. Just give an extra portion of honey, and even if that Monkey shows up, I’ll beat him for you."
The Dragon Princess laughed and tapped on Little Black Bear’s forehead, "Keep dreaming!"
Little Black Bear beca earnest, "Do I look like a bear that brags? Besides, the Bodhisattva has agreed."
This ti the Dragon Princess was surprised, "The Bodhisattva agreed to let you go?" It seed quite implausible to her.
"Don’t you know about the Bodhisattva’s Divine Skills? If she didn’t want to leave, I wouldn’t be able to set foot off the island later on!"
Thinking this over, the Dragon Princess realized that it made sense, given her faith in the Bodhisattva’s divine abilities. She then nodded to Little Black Bear, "You can co, but no causing trouble on the way, and you must not steal anyone’s honey!"
"I got it, don’t worry. You really do nag a lot, Dragon Princess!" Little Black Bear waved his hand, clearly disgruntled.
It was then he noticed the Dragon Princess’s expression change, and quickly covered his mouth, whining, "I was just babbling, please don’t take my honey away, I promise I’ll behave and not cause any trouble."
"That’s more like it. Let’s set off!" Buoyed by a sense of adventure, the Dragon Princess led the two youngsters away from Putuo Island.
