The seventh section did not light up though. However, this did not matter to the 9th stage Qi Transformation Realm cultivator. He was satisfied with six sections lighting up.

"Pass, next." Tian Huang looked towards another 9th-stage Qi Transformation Realm cultivator.

The cultivator walked up to the Potential Assessnt Steele and placed his hand on its surface. Five sections lit up, the sixth section looked as if it was about to light up but in the end, it still remained dull and did not light up.

With mixed emotions, the cultivator walked away and made space for the next cultivator.

"Pass, next." Tian Huang looked towards an 8th-stage Qi Transformation Realm cultivator this ti.

The cultivator walked up to the Steele and placed his hand on it.

Like this, each cultivator had a turn to see their potential and talent. Most of the cultivators present lit up: four, five or six sections. There was none which had lit up seven sections or below four.

There were only 4 more cultivators remaining. The fourth last cultivator was a 3rd stage Qi Transformation Realm cultivator. He placed his hand on the Potential Assessnt Steele, four sections lit up.

With disappointnt, he moved aside.

Without waiting for Tian Huang to say anything, the third last cultivator walked towards the Steele.

It was a female cultivator with 2nd stage Qi Transformation Realm cultivation. She placed her hand on the surface of the Potential Assessnt Steele. Three sections lit up instantly. The fourth section lit up very dimly. With cold sweat on her forehead, she looked towards Tian Huang.

Tian Huang looked at the fourth section of the Steele very carefully. After a mont, he made his decision. "Pass, next."

The female cultivator let out a sigh of relief before moving aside.

There were 2 cultivators left. Tang Yin and a middle-aged man. They were both 1st stage Qi Transformation Realm cultivators.

Tang Yin remained stationary, he wanted to go last. Upon seeing no intention of moving to the Potential Assessnt Steele from Tang Yin, the middle-aged man stepped forward.

He lifted his hand up and touched the surface of the Potential Assessnt Steele. He was incredibly nervous inside. Two sections lit up on the Steele, and the third section also lit up a mont later. However, the fourth section showed no signs of lighting up.

"W-wait! It’s wrong, it’s broken! Let do it again!" The middle-aged man yelled hysterically, he hurriedly placed his hand back on the Potential Assessnt Steele.

A cold look surfaced on Tian Huang’s face, "Noisy." He swung his arm and the middle-aged man vanished with a burst of golden light. He was transported out of the Tides of Chaos.

’You used an unorthodox thod to forcibly draw out your limited potential and enter the Qi Transformation Realm. My Potential Assessnt Steele is not broken. You’re just a desperate cultivator, not worthy of receiving my inheritance.’ Tian Huang thought pridefully in his mind. He had spent quite a fortune and effort to create the Potential Assessnt Steele in the past.

Tian Huang finally looked towards Tang Yin.

Tang Yin walked up to the Potential Assessnt Steele. He felt uncertain. He had no potential or talent for cultivation. The Heaven Devouring Abyss was bestowed upon him and had given him the chance to cultivate. He did not know whether the Potential Assessnt Steele would test his inborn talent which did not exist or sothing else.

However, he was not afraid. Even if he failed the third trial, he would not face death. He would only lose the chance to vie for Tian Huang’s inheritance, this was an acceptable loss to him.

With slight nervousness, he placed his hand on the Potential Assessnt Steele. It felt cold and smooth to the touch.

The Heaven Devouring Abyss was drawn in towards the Potential Assessnt Steele through Tang Yin’s hand.

The next second, sothing unexpected happened.

The Potential Assessnt Steele exploded with a boom. Tang Yin was the closest, he took the brunt of the force.

He continuously retreated while coughing up several mouthfuls of blood. Even with his physical constitution, he was injured to such an extent.

The surrounding cultivators also retreated as far as they could, they were barely injured.

The rubble from the Potential Assessnt Steele was scattered all over the platform.

Tian Huang’s expression changed drastically. Intense anger appeared in his eyes. He had spent a fortune and lots of effort to create the Potential Assessnt Steele in the past. And now it was destroyed just like that.

He glared at Tang Yin with a fierce gaze.
