For a verbal agreent to co upon, both parties will have to agree to it and it should be docunted.
Julian looked around and noticed that they are being fild right now, with this the young man has no chance to escape out of this. .
Young Trainer "I can't do that"
He said while looking at his fallen Golduck, he thought he was easily going to win this battle as he was on a pretty good win streak.
When he ca here and found out that the owner will give away room and food for free if he gets defeated in a pokemon battle, the young trainer got a little greedy and decided to check it out, he then found out that if he loses he will have to give ownership of his losing pokemon to the owner.
At first, he didn't want to but the owner raised the price for staying in the hotel for a while week, the trainer had planned to train inside the forest and he didn't want to camp outside, if he could get a room and free food for a whole week, he should be able to save so money for his future travels.
Little did he know, he fell into the owner's trap, the owner is quite a powerful pokemon trainer, he has his Krookodile with him from a very young age, the strength of this Krookodile is rivaling close to the elite level.
The young trainer had no chance of winning this battle at all.
Owner "We both ca to an agreent, it has all been recorded. Don't tell you don't want to hold up with the agreent? You should know the consequence of not following the agreent right?"
The owner asked, not holding up to the agreent could lead to a year of jail ti or a fine of 100000 poke dollars.
Hearing the owner, the young trainer realized that he fucked up, there is no way he can get out of this.
Owner "Well, if you don't want to give away your pokemon, I can take other things. How about 50000 poke dollars, you can keep your pokemon and you don't have to go to jail either"
The Owner said with a helpful tone. As if he is giving very sound advice to the young trainer, but in fact, he was just mocking him.
The young trainer of course didn't have that kind of money, he could do nothing but hand over his Golduck to the Owner, even though Golduck is one of his strongest pokemon, it's not his main so the young trainer decided to part with it, he couldn't spend a year in jail.
Young Trainer "Fine, you can have Golduck"
The Young Trainer said and tossed the Golduck's Pokeball at the Owner, the Owner caught it with a smile on his face, he knew he got lucky as this Golduck will beco one of his main pokemons with so training.
The Young Trainer didn't stay any longer and left with disappointnt filled in his eyes, he decided to catch another Golduck in the wild and train it instead of causing trouble here, he has already seen the n around the owner and he is smart enough to not cause any trouble here.
The Owner watched with a smile on his face as the young trainer left the battlefield, his attention then landed on his boys and the person that they brought in, he looked at the person they brought and wondered who this person is.
From the looks of it, he doesn't look extrely rich as his clothes are quite dirty and common, the owner smiled as he realized he could get one more pokemon.
Julian also carefully watched as the situation folded, he didn't interfere with the young trainer's situation as it was not his responsibility, this might beco a very important life lesson for the young trainer and learn that these kinds of agreents will only lead to disaster unless he is the strongest trainer.
Julian then noticed that the owner was looking at him with greedy eyes, Julian smirked under his mask as he thought of completely ripping this man of his fortune just for fun.
