Chris felt tired even in his sleep. As he opened his eyes and stretched in bed, yawning, he almost received the shock of his life when he turned around mid-stretching to find vicious eyes staring at him from the other bed.

"Jesus Christ! What the hell, weirdo!" He exclaid as he sat up abruptly.

Sky glared at him like he wasn’t the one who had just given him quite a scare.

Sky sat on his bed with his hands folded across his chest, placing his entire focus on Chris, who had been asleep, by the way. Sky didn’t look good. Not his physical looks, though. Because he still looked like a fine wine.

Though, it was nothing like last night, when he looked like an evil enchantress fox. He wore his usual plain joggers and hoodie and had his hair tied in a ssy bun.

But his entire countenance spelt anger.

"Why didn’t you respond to my text last night?" Sky asked him in a tone that said he was anything but pleased.

Chris looked at him as though this guy had gone crazy.

What the hell!

The audacity with which he had asked the question struck Chris. No one had ever spoken to him like that before.

Chris decided to ignore him. He didn’t want anything to ruin his day after a bad night.

When he stood up, he quickly looked down at himself and rembered he was only wearing briefs. He had taken off his clothes because of how hot he felt last night. Thankfully, he wasn’t sporting any morning wood right now; otherwise, it would have been really embarrassing. On the other hand, standing right in front of the guy who made him feel bothered made his hormones a little bit excited. However, he pushed those silly thoughts away, rembering how pissed he was at Sky for sothing Sky did not even do to him.

"I asked you a question," Sky repeated impatiently as he watched Chris from where he still sat with his arms folded.

Why was he so annoyingly overbearing?!

"I do not need to reply to your texts. And stop staring at like that. You are creeping out." Chris said as he picked up his clothes from the floor and put on the sweatshirt.

"Are you fucking out of your mind?!"

Sky snapped at him, taking Chris aback.

Chris turned to look at him in surprise. Did he just swear at him?

That sounded... uhm... annoying. Yes, it was annoying and nothing else.

Who the hell did he think he was to raise his voice at him?

"YOU LEFT THE PARTY LOOKING SICK AND MAKING US WORRIED. YOU SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST REPLIED TO MY TEXT IF YOU READ IT TO LET KNOW YOU WERE OKAY—"

"IT’S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" Chris angrily snapped back at him, turning so they were now facing each other.

"I read your ssage, and so what? Did I tell you to worry about ? Is that your job?"

Sky stood up at once, looking livid.

"But you could respond to Rain’s text? And I rember I told you clearly to stay away from her!"

Chris let out a laugh. "And I’m glad you just pointed out that SHE texted first."

The tension between them continued to grow as they stared at each other, both looking very angry.

"Is this silly attitude because of last night?" Sky asked.

"I’m not in the mood for this right now." Chris waved him off and went to his desk to stack up his disorganized books.

"You said you were not homophobic." Sky reminded him.

Chris turned to look at him, confused. "What does this have to do with anything?"

"Then can you explain why you are suddenly treating like this because I appeared on stage looking like that?" He sounded even angrier now.

"What?" Chris looked at him, almost in disbelief. How on earth did he think that had to do with any of this?

He didn’t want to say anything. Couldn’t this boy leave him alone?

"You think I care about what or how you decide to look?" Chris asked him.

"Then why are you acting like this?"

"It’s none of your business! We aren’t even friends, so stop trying to act like we are. And I am not obligated to talk to you just because we are roommates." Chris went wild at him and saw how Sky’s facial features hardened even more.

"Fine! I will make a request for to be moved to a different room since you hate so much. Then I do not have to deal with an asshole like you anymore." He said in a quiet but angry tone as he went to open his wardrobe and took out a luggage bag, throwing so of his belongings into the bag aggressively.

Chris felt a little guilty, but he didn’t stop him. He went to his own wardrobe on the opposite end and pretended to be looking for sothing until Sky was done, then left the room without another word or a glance.

Unlike what Chris had imagined, Sky didn’t bang on the door on his way out. He remained courteous even in his anger.

Chris suddenly felt like shit. This was Sky’s room even more than it was his. But once again, he showed how nice of a person he was by offering to leave instead, when none of this was his fault. He had done absolutely nothing to Chris, and he would never know why he was acting like this toward him.

A/N:

Lovely readers,

I was wondering if I had readers here who would be willing to support by buying privilege Chapters in case this book goes premium?

I know many readers read for free, but unlocking privilege Chapters is the only way authors can earn and I am in a very tight spot now.

Please do well to let know.

Also, going premium ans I would have to update this book every day until the book is completed, so rest assured there would be a regular update schedule.
