"Who the fuck is this witch?"

Chris’s face twisted with disbelief as he stared at the photo. "How the hell did you get that?"

This was just a few hours ago. Even *he* didn’t have the photo.

Sky’s grip tightened on his phone, his knuckles white. "It doesn’t matter how I got it—"

Chris’s voice sliced through, interjecting. "Nothing is ever important to you! You never tell anything! I have to literally squeeze it out of you!"

Sky’s eyes darkened, his pulse quickening. But before he could respond, Chris wasn’t done. He took a step forward, his frustration palpable, hot and suffocating. "You didn’t tell when i showed up or why she was even here. You never explained why you started pushing away like I was so kind of disease. And Collins—what the hell was that about just now? He stord into my room like he was ready to kill , and apparently that’s not important either?"

Sky’s breathing quickened, but he kept his expression unreadable. He said nothing.

Chris’s laugh was bitter and sharp, almost mocking. "And now this? You show up here, kiss like you’re going to devour , then push away and throw so random photo in my face? And now *that* doesn’t matter?"

Well, technically, he was the one who kissed Sky but... okay.

Sky’s jaw clenched, his voice shaking with suppressed rage. "You’re the one in the picture, looking cozy with so girl in the library. *That* matters."

Chris’s laugh turned derisive, his eyes blazing. "So you’ve been stalking now? Is that it? You were watching ?" His voice dripped with sarcasm, though there was a flicker of disbelief underneath.

Sky sneered, his lips curling into a bitter smirk. "Do I look like the type to stalk you?"

Chris’s eyes narrowed, his arms crossed in a defensive posture. "Honestly? I don’t even know what kind of person you are anymore, Sky."

Sky’s voice was ice cold. "Don’t flatter yourself. I don’t have the ti or energy to stalk you."

Chris’s gaze sharpened, a challenge hanging in the air. "You sure as hell act like you do."

The room was charged with electricity, the tension crackling between them like a storm on the verge of breaking. Sky stepped closer, his anger rising. "You’re one to talk. Acting all righteous while you’ve got so girl hanging off you like a lovesick puppy."

Chris’s face darkened. "You’re jealous."

"Of that?" Sky spat, his eyes blazing with indignation. "Don’t make fucking laugh."

Chris’s lips curled into a mocking smile. "Then what is it, Sky? Huh? If it’s not jealousy, then what the hell is it?"

Sky’s heart thudded painfully against his chest, his breath hitching. His body was on fire with frustration, but he didn’t flinch. "It’s none of your damn business."

Chris shook his head, voice dripping with contempt. "You know what? I’m done. I’m not playing this ga with you anymore."

He turned as if to walk away, but Sky’s reflexes were faster. In a fluid motion, he slamd his palm against the door, blocking Chris’s exit. Their chests nearly collided from the sheer force, both of them frozen in the sudden, intimate proximity.

"Don’t walk away from ," Sky demanded, his voice low and raw, the words ripping out of him.

Chris’s breath caught, his chest tightening as the space between them felt impossibly small. For a long mont, neither of them moved. Their eyes locked, an electric tension hanging in the air—anger, frustration, pain, and sothing else, sothing neither of them were ready to confront.

"Then tell the truth," Chris said, his voice tight, almost pleading beneath the hardness. "Where did that photo co from?"

Sky’s jaw tightened. His heart pounded, and the weight of the situation hit him like a hamr. "It was sent to ."

Chris’s voice dropped dangerously low. "By who?"

Sky swallowed, his throat tightening with the effort of saying the na. "Ash."

Chris’s face twisted in shock and fury. "Ash? That bastard?" His voice cracked with disbelief. "What the hell does he want now?"

Sky’s words ca out in a strained whisper, the burden of everything weighing heavily on him. "I don’t know, but I swear to god, I didn’t go looking for it. I didn’t want—"

Chris’s voice cut through him, sharp and urgent. "Why did Ash send the photo? How the hell did he even get it?"

Sky’s jaw tensed, his body rigid with the need to keep control. "I don’t know. He just sent it."

Chris took a step closer, his frustration boiling over. "Just like that? Out of the fucking blue? What’s his problem? Is he in love with you too?"

Sky’s eyes flashed, a sharp edge of irritation cutting through his resolve. "How the hell should I know?"

Chris’s hands shot out, grabbing Sky by the shoulders, his grip firm and punishing. "Why don’t you know anything, Sky? Why are you always so damn clueless?" He shook Sky’s shoulder with force.

Sky let out a quick laugh, his eyes burning with frustration. "Because that crap doesn’t matter to , Chris. I don’t waste my ti on aningless drama."

Chris scoffed, his voice sharp. "Oh, really? So is i aware her brother’s making our lives hell?" He asked as he dropped his hands from Sky’s shoulders.

Sky stiffened, his voice flat. "I don’t tell her about most of it."

Chris’s brow furrowed, disbelief flashing across his face. "Why? Because you don’t want her to worry?" His lips curled into a bitter smile. "You really are the perfect fiancé."

Sky’s expression darkened, the storm brewing behind his eyes almost evident. "Don’t start."

Chris’s voice cut through the tension, growing sharper. "Why not? Is it a lie? You walk around with her, hugging and smiling like you’re auditioning for so romance drama, then co here acting like a jealous lunatic over so girl I t at the library, whose na I don’t even rember?"

Sky’s jaw clenched, his face hardening. "I’m done here." He reached for the door handle.

Chris didn’t move. His voice was cold, biting. "Then go. No one’s stopping you."

Sky froze for a second, his shoulders tight with restrained rage. He turned back, his eyes shooting a glare so intense it felt like a physical blow. "Why are you doing this?"

Chris’s eyes glead with frustration. "Because I’m not a patient person, Sky. There are plenty of ladies out there for . I’m not going to keep playing this on-and-off bullshit with you. So leave if you want."

It was a lie, and he knew it. The truth was, he didn’t give a damn about anyone else. But he wasn’t going to let Sky have control, not this ti.

Sky’s face twisted in disbelief, his heart hamring in his chest. The words stung, but his pride refused to let him show it. His voice dropped low, dangerous. "You’re unbelievable."

Chris lifted his chin, defiance in his stance, though his chest tightened with a knot of discomfort. "Yeah? Well, so are you."

Sky’s fists clenched at his sides, his breath coming in harsh, ragged gasps. Without another word, he spun around and stord out, slamming the door behind him with such force that it rattled the walls.
