The stone fragnt cut through the threads, then spun at a strange angle, shooting straight toward Enel’s position.
"Hm?"
Enel’s Observation Haki sensed danger, and he imdiately turned his body into electricity, performing an instant teleport.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The high-speed stone fragnts thrown by Star Platinum missed him, but pierced straight through several towering giant trees behind him.
Enel glanced sideways at this scene. The smile on his face gradually faded, and his expression darkened.
His sinister gaze first locked onto Jotaro, and then fell on the approaching Gan Fall. He sneered darkly, "I was still wondering why you, a stray dog who was kicked down from the throne of god by with one kick, would dare to trespass into my territory again."
"So it turns out you’ve brought along a terrifying helper."
From the stone fragnt Star Platinum casually threw, he had already sensed that Jotaro was no simple person.
Not even speaking of the precision that cut the threads flawlessly, just the terrifying speed of that fragnt’s flight made him extrely wary.
If not for his mantra sensing the approaching danger, with his human reflexes he simply wouldn’t have been able to dodge that move.
Without mantra, his head would’ve been blown apart by the stone.
Gan Fall’s companion was a terrifying enemy. That was Enel’s first impression.
But he didn’t think he would lose.
With mantra, he could easily dodge Jotaro’s terrifying attacks.
That was what he believed.
After instant-transmitting to dodge the attack, Enel made no further rash moves. His expression flickered between gloom and calm, as though deep in thought.
Jotaro didn’t move either.
He still wasn’t sure whether Enel could use Haki beyond Observation.
If he rushed to use Ti Stop first and failed to defeat him in one blow, then with Enel’s Rumble-Rumble Fruit ability, his own situation afterward would beco very dangerous.
Lightning might not be as fast as light, but its propagation speed was still incredibly quick.
If Enel ran, Jotaro wouldn’t be able to catch up.
Star Platinum’s strength lay in attack speed, not movent speed.
On top of that, Enel could turn into lightning form, his trickery was too strong.
If he cast aside his godly dignity and fought in a dirty, drawn-out way, Jotaro could endure, but his companions couldn’t.
He planned to find the right mont, then finish Enel off in one strike.
"You guys go find the Poneglyph. Leave this place to ." Jotaro’s eyes never left Enel as he spoke in a deep voice to the others.
Shinobu and the rest trusted him. After nodding, they left with the injured Mr. 9.
Only Gan Fall remained, unable to believe it. "You’re going to fight him alone?"
Jotaro didn’t reply, because he felt Enel was about to move.
And indeed, Enel could no longer hold back, preparing to strike.
Only his target wasn’t Jotaro, but Shinobu and the others.
He wanted to get rid of the weak ones first, then turn around and deal with Jotaro.
Confident in his speed, he instantly turned into lightning, charging unstoppably toward Shinobu’s group.
"Star Platinum!"
Jotaro’s focus was entirely on Enel.
The mont Enel moved, he too prepared to act.
Ti stopped flowing.
The distorted ticking of a clock ca to an abrupt halt, ti froze completely.
In the still world, Enel was in the form of a bolt of lightning.
Lightning’s speed was only a fraction of light’s, yet even in one second it could travel hundreds of thousands of ters.
If ti weren’t stopped, he could’ve easily slipped past Jotaro.
That much, he truly had the arrogance for.
Jotaro walked up to Enel. Star Platinum hovered silently at his side.
Haki surged around Jotaro’s arm and then spread into Star Platinum.
"Ora!"
Star Platinum drove a fierce punch straight into the mass of lightning, seizing Enel by the throat with ease.
Ti resud.
Enel’s mind went blank, like a rider recklessly speeding down a road only to suddenly crash headfirst into a clothesline.
Jotaro hadn’t expected Enel to expose such a massive flaw in the middle of battle.
Ignoring him and rushing after the others, he was far too arrogant.
"Ora!"
Star Platinum lifted Enel and slamd him down hard into the ground.
Dirt exploded, the earth trembled.
Gan Fall, watching from the side, was utterly dumbfounded.
’When did he even get over there?’
Could it be he, like Enel, could also teleport?
Star Platinum let go, allowing Enel to regain consciousness.
With just that one exchange, Jotaro could already see that Enel’s Armant Haki wasn’t too refined.
Yet this wasn’t about wasting ti bullying him, Jotaro wasn’t that kind of sadist. On the contrary, it was to save ti.
Enel was within a ter of Star Platinum’s range. At that distance, not even light could escape, let alone Enel, who could only move at lightning speed.
"Oi! Tell , where is the Golden Bell?"
Seeing Enel regain so awareness, Jotaro demanded harshly.
Knowing where the Golden Bell was ant easily finding the Poneglyph.
"H... How could that be!" Enel said in disbelief. "Why can you hit ?"
Jotaro glanced at Gan Fall, mocking, "The god you speak of isn’t all-knowing and all-powerful, after all."
Enel’s face turned ashen. It was the first ti soone had looked down on him like this.
Bzzt~
Lightning gathered in his hand, blasting toward Jotaro at point-blank range.
"Die!" Enel roared.
Thirty million volts of lightning, faster than before, but in Jotaro’s eyes, it wasn’t much different.
Star Platinum, Armant-clad fists swinging, knocked the lightning aside with ease, its speed many tis faster than lightning itself.
Then its fists hamred straight at Enel.
"Ora ora ora ora!"
Enel was pumled black and blue. The arrogance once on his face was gone.
He was even beginning to doubt his own life.
Jotaro asked again, "Tell , where is the Golden Bell?"
"W-What... Golden Bell?" Enel looked terrified. "I... don’t know..."
His mantra clearly sensed the attacks, but just as the vision started to play in his mind, Star Platinum’s fist was already slamming into his face.
With such delay, how was he supposed to fight?
"Yare yare daze..." Jotaro didn’t think he was lying.
"Ora ora ora!"
Without a mont’s hesitation, Star Platinum grabbed Enel and gave him another brutal beating, then casually tossed him aside.
Gan Fall was shaken to his core.
Enel, with his overwhelming ability, had been an unshakable existence on Sky Island.
Yet in Jotaro’s hands, he was like a stray dog that could be kicked to death at any mont.
Jotaro tossed Gan Fall a pair of seastone handcuffs.
"He’s yours to deal with. Once you cuff him with that, he won’t be able to use his powers again."
With that, he didn’t bother with them any further and went straight toward Shandora in search of the Poneglyph.
Gan Fall never thought good fortune would co so suddenly. The Enel who had plagued Sky Island for so many years was taken down so easily.
"I can’t let him down. This is the chance to finally lead Sky Island toward peace!"
Gan Fall cuffed Enel and muttered softly to himself.
