The trolls could not believe their eyes. They jumped up and down with surprise, moving around each other like chimpanzees.

"The king has been killed!?"

"Bobo was defeated!"

"The strongest!"

"He was the strongest!"

"Who is the strongest now!?"

On hearing this, Dorhal instantly turned to face the remainder of the trolls.

"Of course, I am!" Dorhal shouted, his hands raised to the sides. In one hand, he held his long, broadsword. In the other, the skull of Bobo the cave troll.

The trolls stopped their horseplay and bickering, stunned at the majestic yet horrifying scene before them.

"No!?" Dorhal roared, his tone fueled with rage like an angry dictator. "Then who shall challenge !? Is there anyone? One who thinks he is brave enough to face !?" Dorhal took a step forward, thudding Bobo’s rock-hard skull against his chest like a war drum.

The beat sounded like it ca from a massive silverback gorilla, powerful and unnerving.

"Hrgh..." A low growl echoed from another part of the chamber.

Dorhal’s eyes instantly darted to where the voice ca from.

’Hmm... I thought that surely, that would have done the trick. It was an aweso and grandiose display of raw, ruthless superiority--the kind that is respected across all of nature. Who is this nay-sayer?’ His eyes narrowed as the crowd of trolls before him split apart to form a path.

A troll appeared in the back, walking forward with nonchalance.

He stood tall over the ledge, his body glowing just like Dorhal’s. His body had a different glow. He had large letters dug into his flesh, creating sentences that revolved around his body. The letters shone brightly with a vibrant purple radiance.

The first line of letters started horizontally from the bottom of his torso to where his neck t his collarbone. The second line ripped across his right arm, the third across his left.

Just like this, the pattern followed its way through the troll’s lower body.

"I will fight you next, Dorhal of Karak-O." The troll spoke in complete angesh. He didn’t sound like the other trolls. He sounded more intelligent.

Dorhal’s eyes widened for a split second, ’What in this world is this unique trait? I have never co across a troll who has known my na. This troll seems to have a greater sense of intellect.’ He thought.

The troll’s body was vastly different from all other trolls. He was muscular, his hands the size of tree trunks, and his feet double in nature. He was a force to be reckoned with through and through, even without his perceived intelligence.

This was no ordinary troll. This troll looked like a force of the wilderness, able to rampage through forests like a bulldozer.

Even his face wasn’t noticeably ugly. It actually looked average!

Even Dorhal was slightly amazed to see the beast’s physique.

"I accept your request, troll! But answer this first... what the hell is wrong with you? Why are you not a freak like the rest of them!?" Dorhal’s tone was raised.

’I am not fearful... but I am certainly intrigued.’ The orc eyed the troll up and down.

"I am Bobo’s father, Uranus. Or previously known as... Bob, before the power of the gods was granted to ." The troll said in clean grammar. "Why am I not a freak? You must an why I am much more intelligent. Well... I have always been. My age is of ancient requiem. I remain the only troll alive on Demadur Island that is of the ancient troll species. My birth was long ago, Dorhal the orc. We ancient trolls possess intelligence no different from that of yours, or even that of humans." Uranus said, his tone surprisingly elegant.

Dorhal was amazed to hear this. ’Never... I would have never thought such a mythical creature would still be alive!’ He said with inner surprise.

These creatures had long since fallen into fables.

"Hmph!" Dorhal grunted, "Yet, that still does not answer all of my questions. If you are truly an ancient troll, your strength far surpasses that of your sons. Why are you not the ruler? Trolls always maintain order through a hierarchy of power. It is in their nature. Above that... your ancient origin doesn’t explain the odd, glowing markings on your body. And what did you say your na was? Uranus? Who gave you such a na after so many thousands of years!?" He was commanding in his tone.

Uranus did not seem to mind answering, however. "Strength determining one’s rank? It is a foolish, crude, and infantile tradition. Only those trolls born in the latest five percent of my kin’s history follow such stupid rules. They have been turned into buffoons..." He grunted, as though disappointed.

"I choose not to be king because it is a hassle. A job that makes waste ti battling all day with brash and cocky, stubby little trolls. To hell with it! And about your next question... you’ve finally gotten to where I have wanted to be this entire ti. You see... I have been waiting for this very mont." Uranus said, a smile slowly growing on his face.

Dorhal’s brows furrowed closely, ’Don’t get riled up...’ He thought.

"These marks have not always been on my body. But you already know that by now. However, I think you also already know why I have these marks. You just haven’t chosen to believe it yet." Uranus finally grinned, flashing his teeth, "Just like you... Dorhal, I have been chosen by the gods of this ga to be granted a special ability! It happened quite recently, actually. About fifty years ago on the dot, I’d say." He said.

Dorhal’s fierce expression remained steady.

"That day, the primordial being who gave this ability... he also presented with a goal. A prophecy, even. He said, by the ti half a century has passed, you will learn the reason you have gained this imnse ability. A being from enemy ranks will undoubtedly appear, one glowing with fury. He will be eliminated and sacrificed to . After that, he gave the na--Uranus." The troll said with his chest raised, pride glimring in his eyes.
