"When you turn that switch, it will start mixing in Mana into the flour. It should take a minute or two depending on the amount you put in, and after that, you drop it into the mixing pot."

In this great castle created by one of the greatest Creators that had ever lived, the masterpiece designed to be the final resting place for that being, was sothing one could not simply limit to a place filled with treasures.

"Oh? But hey, if this mixes Mana into the ingredients, doesn’t it make the product dangerous for the others?"

Not only was the tower filled with things that were as good as treasures, since each of the floors in the tower were a world itself, there was sothing special about each and every one of the floors of the tower.

Be it the ground floor where the Gate was located, be it the infirmary where they had dical texts unknown to the outside world, or be it the upper floors where even more things had gathered, each of the floors were more special than anyone unfamiliar with the place could fathom.

Even the kitchen area that was relatively smaller in size but was filled with artifacts and ingredients that one might not even have seen in their lifeti, was sothing that one could not help but be stunned to see.

"Mixing Mana into things isn’t really as dangerous as one thinks, Quin. When people talk about being affected by Mana, they are talking about Mana poisoning, sothing that happens due to imbalance of Mana inside one’s body.

Simply put, while everyone has Mana inside them, even in fragnted form, if they ingest things that contain a non-refined form of Mana, the Mana inside them would be affected by it."

Eon and his friends were in the kitchen right now, in the place where Eon has spent so of the most fun monts of his life…

There were many things here that he never found outside. He had recreated so of the things that they have here, but he could never really recreate them.

These artifacts, created by his master, much like most of the things around the tower, were unique. He was not proficient enough to understand so, while even if he understood so of them, he did not think he would be able to recreate them with the resources of the outside world.

Taking these artifacts outside and using them was not sothing he wanted since they belonged to this tower and ultimately to his master. He did not want to do that even if he wanted to.

"These artifact refine the Mana and then infuse it into things. The infusion process itself is much different from just infusing the Mana inside sothing.

It processes the whole product and cotes it into Mana which is ultimately expelled from one’s body before the body processes it.

Except for the beings with great Mana affinity, any normal person eating anything with Mana infused with these will simply expel the Mana outside of them. But if one could absorb it while it is ingested, it is absorbed into their body without hindering the existing Mana."

Today, they were making quite a few things.

First of all, they were going with a kind of spaghetti that Eon had missed for a long, long ti. They were also making a few special dishes that neither Quin, Del, nor the knight boy Chry knew about.

So of them were strange things, so of them were weird. He was asking them to use artifacts that they had no knowledge of, but at the sa ti, while it wasn’t easy to use so of them as they required precise Mana control, there were so that did everything with s few clicks.

"Oh? I didn’t know it was possible to do sothing like that with an artifact."

"It sure is. You might not believe it, but there are so artifacts in the other room that we use for special things.

The things that we can make with them are pretty weird and special at the sa ti. Truthfully, I wanted to make one more thing, but we can do that later. I will need to prepare a lot for that one."

Cooking was not simply a hobby for him when he was here. It was his passion, an activity he did to beco even a little like his master.

She who could create things far beyond he could even right now, was an inspiration for him. He wanted to create things that taste like her, things at least half as pretty as hers. He wanted not only to recreate the things that she made his own way, after one point, he also wanted to impress her with sothing of his own.

"Anna? How’s it going on your end?"

"Oh~. We finished just kneading. Now we will go with the artifact you showed us~."

"Good good. Hurry up then, go."

"Yes~."

He started cooking with his father when he was half of Anna’s age. He started cooking to make sothing delicious and surprising for his mother’s birthday.

He showed them fireworks, and his mom loved it.

It was also when they told him about their encounter with a Unicorn. Perhaps, that was when he started liking cooking as sothing more than just a fun activity.

When he fell into the great forest of Kamut, there was not much choice but to live off of anything edible. He sotis cooked a few things, but since everything around him was dangerous, he did not dare cook beyond his set boundaries.

When he t his master though, and when he tasted his cooking for the first ti, he was shocked more than any of the people here were after cooking sothing she made.

The very first al that he had with his master… that was a bliss that lives within him to this day. In fact, there was nothing in this world that would overlap that blissful feeling.

"Chry? How’s the peeling going?"

"Ah, master… I’m trying. But it’s tough." Chry was peeling a kind of flower bud right now that required a unique technique to peel off.

He needed to use his Aura like Mana, in a precise manner, and concentrate it until he gathered very little of it on all of his fingertips. Then, if he matches the required state of Aura, he could peel one of the layers of the flower.

If he loses his concentration then the flower petal stays stuck.

"You’ll get the hang of it. Continue for a little more and I’ll help after I’m done with this."

"Ah… alright."

Chry still found it complicated. He was not used to using his Aura precisely. He did not even know he could use it like this until just now.

He thought Aura was sothing he only needed for speed control, body enhancent, or optimization of his sword techniques.

He knew he wasn’t as proficient with Aura as Carla or his master, but he did not know controlling his Aura release could be this difficult.

"What about you Quinny? Are you going to continue helping Chry or do you want to help finish quickly?"

Chry found this challenge a little fun actually. He was doing sothing difficult and at the sa ti, he was helping Quin with sothing else.

Both of them were working on ingredients that they were going to use in the cooking process. Chry was busy with his work and Quin was slowly doing her own work that did not really require as much effort as him.

"I’ll… I’ll finish this first."

She liked how he found this task difficult. She did not know why this was so difficult for him, but seeing him fail each ti made her smile unexpectedly.

It was funny seeing the vice president Cradle so confused at a machine that looked so simple. And seeing Anna help with the things was always fun as well.

The artifacts that were present here were quite ingenious as well.

Be it the mixer that used Mana and infused various elental energies into the food ingredients, be it the freezer filled with rare and expensive materials, be it the little things that needed extre control of Mana or energy to operate, or the big artifacts that Eon was using to process the various items.

The things that they were making right now were pretty easy to understand, but the thods to make them were not so simple.

"Huuu… things would be easier if you could help us with a few things, you know Del?"

"Shuuu. I’m figuring out how this one works. Don’t disturb ."

Cradle, while not doing anything to help them with the cooking process, was currently obsessed with the artifacts that were present around the kitchen.

The big things, the smaller ones, the spoon that changed size when infused with Mana, the fork that could be used as a small mixing artifact, or even the thing that turned the dough into spaghetti, she was picking up each artifact and observing them closely to understand just how exactly they worked.

She was not helping them, but she was an object of entertainnt for the rest as her fascination with these artifacts, and her frustration at how she could not figure out how they worked, or could guess their actual functioning was simply too entertaining for them.

"Ugh… just why did one need such a thing when they could have used sothing simple?!"

Eon knew Rein would have had quite a bit of fun if she was here.

Looking at her was simply too funny, that was also why Eon wasn’t doing much to stop her.

"I can just tell you, you know-."

"Shut up if you don’t want a punch in your face."

They were cooking while having fun in a kitchen that was mostly reserved for him and his master.

The two were mostly the only ones here but now, this place was filled with the friends that he had made far away from here. And, he did not find it bad or uncomfortable.

This was fun. At least, it was better than just him cooking here by himself.
