"Wow, you’re both here," Rae said with a way too amused smirk on her lips.
"Why wouldn’t we be?" Helena asked as she glared at Rae.
They were standing in the Pack House’s kitchen where Helena had passed to grab an apple. She found Rae doing the sa and they were soon joined by Roo.
"I an, aren’t you guys, like tired?" Rae said, giggling as Helena rolled her eyes.
Helena jumped as Roo wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close.
"Good morning, love," he said as he kissed her lips gently. "I missed you last night."
"Roo!" Helena groaned. She wasn’t quite sure if it was out of annoyance or arousal.
"Ugh, can you guys not," Rae grumbled.
Roo laughed as he kissed Helena again.
This ti, she responded, kissing him back and pushing her body against his. He groaned in arousal pushing his already hard cock against her stomach.
"Gross," Rae hissed. "Hey, you two are you gonna start making the next generation of Blackmoons right here in the kitchen before training? Cause if you are, I’m leaving."
As if she was doused with a bucket of ice cold water, Helena pushed Roo away and placed her hands on her lips that were now puffy from making out.
"Lets go," Helena hissed as she threw a glare at Roo and grabbed Rae by the wrist, dragging her out of the pack house.
"Helena!" Roo called out but Helena ignored him going as far as slamming the door shut behind her and Rae.
When they were finally at a safe distance, Helena slowed down, and Rae yanked her hand from Helena’s death grip.
"What is wrong with you?" Rae asked as they walked side by side toward the training center.
"I can’t believe I did that," Helena scread, throwing her hands in the air.
"What, made out with your mate?" Rae teased, earning her a glare from Helena.
"He isn’t my mate," she spat through gritted teeth. "And I didn’t spend the night with him. I spent it in my room where I was bundled in my blankets like a baby."
"Alright, alright, you didn’t fuck my brother last night," Rae said as she made a gagging action.
Helena rolled her eyes and ignored her friend and step-sister the rest of the way.
When they finally made it to the training center, she noticed Kade standing next to Gamma Norton, seemingly in a deep conversation.
"What’s that about?" Helena asked as she tilted her head toward the pair.
"Probably so ntorship talk between them," Jenna said with a shrug as she stretched next to Helena.
"ntorship?" Helena asked, confused by what Jenna was saying.
"The Alpha didn’t tell you?" Jenna asked, cocking her head to the side.
"Tell what?"
"He’s going to make Kade his Gamma during the Rite," Jenna explained.
"He what?!" Helena was beyond shocked that Roo would do this.
"I know, right?" Chloe chuckled, joining them. "You’d think he’d want to keep soone that has a crush on his Luna away from his Luna."
"He doesn’t—" Helena began to say before Roo entered the training grounds. The mont she saw him it was as if all the air in the room had been sucked dry and all that mattered was his presence.
Just like her, Roo had placed all of his attention on her.
Helena didn’t know how long she was staring until Rae nudged her shoulder and she broke out of whatever trance she was in.
"Let’s go," Rae mumbled before pulling her toward the mats.
Helena watched as Roo called Gamma Norton and Kade over while still keeping his gaze on her.
"What’s up with you today?" Rae asked as they positioned themselves on the mats and began so drills.
"I don’t know," Helena shrugged as she deflected so of Rae’s light attacks. "I just feel odd."
Rae nodded and didn’t pry any further while they continued to spar in silence.
"Rae!" Gamma Norton’s voice bood through the training area.
"Yes?" Rae asked as she stood straight, and they stopped sparring.
"You’ll train with Kade," Gamma Norton instructed as he pointed toward a vacant mat two spots down.
Rae gave Helena a confused look. Helena simply shrugged, she too was curious as to why Gamma Norton had asked Rae to spar with Kade
"Who will I train with now, Gamma Norton?" Helena asked as she placed her hands on her hips.
"," Roo announced as he entered the mat.
Helena frowned but didn’t argue.
"Nothing to say, Helena?" Roo asked her as he stretched a bit.
Sothing about the way he said her na had Helena clenching her legs together.
’What the fuck is happening?’ she asked her wolf.
’It’s nice to be around him,’ Hera purred.
’Focus, we’re in training, we can’t seem like a pushover,’ Helena grumbled. ’And I don’t want to lose to Roo because you’re busy lusting over him.’
’I’m not the only one,’ Hera teased.
Helena rolled her eyes and shut her wolf out.
Sex with Roo was amazing. It was everything she’d dread it would be since she’d discovered how to pleasure herself, but right now wasn’t the ti to think about those things.
She felt the desire to jump Roo ease a bit.
It was still there, but it wasn’t as bad as before she shut Hera out.
"Shall we spar?" Roo asked with a handso smirk on his lips. "Or are you too distracted?"
"I should be asking you that," Helena answered back as her eyes landed on his crotch. If one looked hard enough, they could tell that Roo was starting to get aroused.
"That’s exactly why I had you swap partners, Helena," Roo told her as he threw a punch that Helena easily dodged. "I wouldn’t want to fight Kade with a hard on."
"And it’s fine to spar with when you have one?" Helena grumbled.
She did a sweeping motion with her leg and caught Roo’s foot as he jumped to avoid it.
Roo groaned as he hit the mat. Helena was on him, throwing punches that he blocked.
"You’re distracted," she hissed.
She knew that if his focus was where it should be he wouldn’t have fallen so easily.
Suddenly, he wrapped his arms around Helena and thrust his hip upwards.
He pulled her close and kissed her passionately in front of everyone.
Helena wanted to push him away, but her body had other plans. She kissed him back as she savored every mont on top of him.
When she finally broke the kiss, Roo pulled her back and gave her ear a playful nibble.
"You’re the best distraction there is, baby," he groaned.
