Despite the Iron Warriors commander recognizing what had happened and rapidly concentrating a large force at the breach, along with thousands of artillery pieces that had originally been hidden to ambush, starting to unleash a storm of iron from the sky, it was too late.

Not only had the Warlord Titan stationed in the rear annihilated the super-heavy tank unit in advance, but it also provided accurate scanning data of the enemy's rear positions. From the perspective of the Imperial artillery, those temporary positions where artillery was being massed were like beacons highlighted in red.

As the Imperial artillery initiated counter-battery fire, the enemy artillery, which had been using explosions and shrapnel to construct an iron curtain, quickly thinned out, and the speed of the cultist units responsible for reinforcent was far slower than the Imperial advance.

That small gap, that distance of only several hundred ters, that friendly force within reach across the divide.

It beca an impassable distance.

The firepower of the six Titans made this area a no-go zone for Chaos vehicles, with any moving object taller than three ters attracting the heavy strikes of the Titans, and when facing a plasma projectile from the Sunfury Plasma Annihilator, the result was the sa whether one was in a super-heavy tank or an infantry carrier.

The chanized Regint soldiers stationed on either side of the gap were able to rely on their tanks, APCs, and the vehicle-mounted weaponry to weave horrifying webs of fire with their Hellguns.

This fire was so intense that even Space Marines would be unable to persist for long within it, with ordinary demons and cultists instantly dissolving under the coverage of heavy bolter and Hellgun fire.

Perhaps, if the battle continued in this manner, this small force would eventually run out of supplies. However, this style of action, regardless of the cost, ant that for now, the situation within this small patch of land had firmly been seized by the chanized Regint.

It wasn't long before the Chaos forces, realizing that no matter how many troops they sent, they seed to lt like snow in the face of the suppressed heavy firepower, gradually reduced the intensity of their resistance, tacitly acknowledging the existence of the breach... or in other words, accepting that position was lost.

Were they planning to build up their strength for a subsequent counterattack? Or were they simply trying to preserve themselves?

Zhang Ge didn't care much about such things at this mont; he simply kept swinging his blade again and again, slicing the small fry that leaked through into two, under the protection of the Power Armor soldiers... as for anyone who was strong enough to break through that wall of iron? Amilia had already taken care of them from afar.

This was the awkward situation of fighting a one-sided battle; since there was nowhere urgently requiring Zhang Ge to send his guards, he had no reason to shake off these heavily armored behemoths.

He seriously suspected that even the current small fry had been deliberately let in by his guards for him to practice his skills on.

Previously, when only Amilia was present, Zhang Ge could still hope that a stray bullet from so lucky cultist might explode his head, but now, it was estimated that he would have to be fortunate enough to have a heavy artillery shell land directly on him.

Helpless, Zhang Ge, feeling that these enemies were no longer worth relying on, simply started directing and urging his soldiers into action.

At least speeding up the end would save him so ti so that he could quickly reach the Deadwood Sector to find the main Iron Warriors force; surely those main forces would give him so opportunity.

As Zhang Ge's leadership stepped in, the already precise Titan firepower beca even more outrageous. Since he was able to communicate with Olivia in real ti through the rosarius, Zhang Ge could have the Titan's artillery strike at any high-threat target the mont the forward units detected it.

In this situation, the already strong frontline beca even more unshakeable. A large number of units quickly passed through this breach, and even so of the equipnt that had been planned to be abandoned was able to be brought along.

By the ti the last logistics convoy passed through the breakthrough, the Chaos forces had already temporarily abandoned their intention to retake this point.

Six million n were many, but the ti at which each mobilized force arrived at the battlefield differed; sending them up in batches like before would be aningless other than to increase the number of casualties, and they needed to gather enough troops to maintain their current positions while also crushing the enemy in one fell swoop.

From a conventional point of view, making such a decision was justified. However, Zhang Ge's group just so happened not to be fighting a conventional war.

After all of his subordinates had passed through the breakthrough, the force unhurriedly continued toward their final destination, leaving the enemy behind without any reluctance, and did not widen the results of the battle.

Or rather... this lance only has a spearhead.

A considerable amount of ti after Zhang Ge and his group departed, the Chaos forces, finally realizing that the enemy's position seed too quiet, began sending out troops to launch a counterattack.

However, this ti, they found that the only things left for them on the line were automated turrets, combat servitors, and the Cybernetica Automata.

The Iron Warriors commander, who had previously retreated from the battlefield, also returned to this place.

Even if he was the most foolish person, he would have realized that sothing was wrong.

Was it possible that the enemy force they assud to exist was a fabrication, and that these enemies had so many heavy equipnt due to them simply being rich?

Aside from diluting the forces that he could have densely distributed, was the long defense line he had laid out primarily playing a role in defending against air?

Thinking of the fate that he might face upon returning, he thought of the roughly one hundred or so brothers he had left under him, and the more than five million cultists on the outside.

He felt that it was better to pretend that he didn't know about so things — given their likely destination, their target should be the grand battalion itself. To put it bluntly, if they succeeded, there was no telling whether anyone would even be alive to hold him accountable.

Thus, while ordering his forces to continue reinforcing the defense line and guarding against the "nonexistent enemy," he added so artistic flair to the military report he reported to the rear, aning:

The size of the enemy's forces was completely different from what was stated in the previous report. It was a group of Astra Militarum over five million strong. Due to a lack of intelligence, the unit suffered heavy losses during the initial contact, and the unit has currently shifted to a defensive posture to resist the main enemy forces' offensive at all costs.

Only one unremarkable section was written in the large amount of descriptions:

Due to the initial surprise attack, our forces inadvertently encountered so defensive gaps in the process of reorganizing the units and conducting defenses, causing a small group of enemies to pass through the defense line, and judging from their direction of advance, the destination should be the Deadwood Sector.
