It’s ti to launch again.
Not counting "Stealing Copper Coins," this is already Demon Monk’s third novel. It took two months of planning and scrapping over ten drafts before finally settling on this version, which beca the current "Starting From Dao Fruit."
I originally planned to launch it on March 1st to qualify for a full attendance bonus, but the editor said it was too long to wait, so it was arranged to go live tomorrow. It’s not bad—at least it’s not the end of the month, so there’s still hope to compete for the new book monthly ticket rankings.
To be honest.
I don’t have much confidence in this book. I was anxious before publishing, anxious after publishing, and now, as the launch approaches, I’m even more anxious.
But I guess most people probably don’t care about my personal feelings.
Let’s get straight to the point.
Tis are tough lately, I know that. I won’t insist that everyone reads the official release, but I still hope that those who can afford it will show so support for the official version.
If money is tight, spending just a di to support the first purchase on Qidian would already an a lot to . (Good first-purchase stats lead to better website recomndations, which helps attract more new readers.)
I just finished writing, and my brain is a bit scrambled. I’m just saying whatever cos to mind, so forgive if it’s a bit scattered.
Please support the first purchase.
Please subscribe.
Please vote for monthly tickets.
These three are all very important. If you can support all of them, that’s even better. But for those with limited ans, like student readers, honestly, just one first purchase is enough. Down the line, whenever you have so spare cash, you can subscribe to a Chapter here and there—that’s already great!
Now, let’s talk about the updates for tomorrow and beyond—
1. Guaranteed five Chapters.
Tomorrow noon at twelve, the book will officially launch. Demon Monk will release five Chapters at once. My stockpile is limited due to ti constraints, so I hope you’ll understand; at least it’s not a total failure.
Moving forward, updates will prioritize stability.
2. Additional Chapters for rewards.
For every 200 yuan in rewards, I’ll add one extra Chapter.
This is up to you; if you feel like it and can afford it, maybe throw in one or five yuan for fun.
3. Additional Chapters for first purchases.
This book has 55,000 bookmarks. Based on a 10:1 ratio of bookmarks to first purchases, the initial purchase should be around 5,500.
For every 100 first purchases above 4,500 (the initial Chapter’s VIP purchases on the first day), I’ll add one extra Chapter.
4. Additional Chapters for monthly tickets.
Of course, I almost forgot—ti to shalessly beg a bit.
For every 200 monthly tickets, I’ll add one extra Chapter. Let’s see if we can make it into the top ten of the new book rankings.
Aside from these extra Chapters—
After the book launches, the base daily update will be 6,000 words.
...
Tomorrow at noon, everything depends on you all.

Thank you, everyone!

PS: Thank you to ’Corrupted Daoist,’ thank you to every old friend coming over from "Huangting Daoist." Thank you! And thank you to every new friend who’s just joining now with "Starting From Dao Fruit." Thank you!
I won’t say much else—the lengthy, sentintal stuff I’ve already deleted.
There’s a long road ahead.
Let’s wait and see.
