Sinister, icy, the voice of the Ghost Granny seed to travel from Hell itself, rging with the ghastly chill and ghostly energy around, sending shivers down one’s spine.

"This... this can’t be an illusion, right...? We weren’t supposed to co here, were we?" Mo Changfeng looked extrely pale; just monts ago, he was on the grasslands shouting for the old woman’s head, and the next, he found himself right beside her.

Lin Hao had already figured out the answer to that question. The old woman’s mastery of Qin Dunjia was far superior to his. Even if he were making soup right here, she could effortlessly alter the extraordinary variables, leading him into her desired location.

Now that they had arrived here, there probably was no turning back.

Only by fighting could they desperately seek to survive.

Lin Hao’s expression was solemn. He paid no attention to Mo Changfeng but silently circulated the Ancient Swallowing Heaven Technique, refining the Primordial Stone within the Void Ring to accumulate strength.

"Many desire my head, you? You’re not even qualified to line up. However, today I’ll give you a chance. I’m right here, you can try to take my head if you wish."

The Ghost Granny didn’t turn around, still stirring the fragrant soup in the Great Cauldron with her stick, yet her words further inflad Mo Changfeng’s sha and anger.

What did she an by not even qualified to line up? That was a terrible insult!

Had it been anyone else, Mo Changfeng would’ve already charged forward and fought a hundred battles. But now, facing this old woman with her back to him, Mo Changfeng was filled with fear!

That’s right!

Mo Changfeng wasn’t afraid of death, but he feared dying without worth!

Dying at this mont would be aningless!

But what could be done about that?

Upon arriving here, Lin Hao had been silent, doing who knows what, and all along, both he and Mo Changfeng had been played by this old woman, with Mo Changfeng utterly devoid of any solution.

Damn it!

Mo Changfeng subconsciously gripped his knife tightly as sweat dripped down from his forehead.

Neither Mo Changfeng nor Lin Hao spoke, but the Ghost Granny seed to have expected this, chuckling, "What’s wrong? Don’t dare? Since you don’t dare, then wait foolishly. It’s hard to co by good material, it shouldn’t be wasted. Your turn hasn’t co yet."

After speaking, the Ghost Granny suddenly stopped, turned around from the Giant Cauldron, and picked up a large ladle, dipping it into the cauldron.

A ladleful of at soup was scooped up, then they saw the Ghost Granny casually take the ladle to a nearby giant rock, splashing the contents onto the stone.

The rich at soup was poured onto the black rock, and before it could flow down, suddenly, vein-like structures bulged from the rock, rapidly absorbing the soup.

"Boom, boom, boom boom..."

Those vein-like structures absorbed the soup and rhythmically pulsed, and within the Giant Stone Formation, a series of heart-pounding beats resonated.

Simultaneously, a fearso pressure emanated from the stones, like an Ancient Behemoth slowly awakening – its re presence instilling fear and compelling a sense of submission.

Lin Hao was sure that if this entity truly awoke, its strength would far exceed that of the old woman!

The sound of the heartbeat was profound, forceful, and robust, as if it belonged to the heart of that slumbering colossus.

The at soup the Ghost Granny had spread was absorbed by those veins on the rock almost instantaneously; then, the veins vanished as if they were never there, leaving the stone looking plain and black, glossy, cold, and piercing. The vein-like structures and the heartbeats disappeared without a trace.

"This is at soup that I’ve just made. The minced at is too low-grade to brew a fine soup. Since you’re so eager, I will imdiately prepare another pot of high-quality at soup."

As the elderly ghostly woman spoke, she walked back, scooped up another ladle of at broth from the giant cauldron, and poured it onto another large rock.

"Bang, bang!"

The at broth splashed onto the rock, and the dark stone, just like before, sprouted nurous tube-like veins that absorbed the broth. At the sa ti, that formidable and oppressive aura reappeared.

Once the at broth vanished, everything returned to how it originally was.

The elderly ghostly woman continued to pour ladles of at broth from the giant cauldron onto the giant rock.

As the at broth in the cauldron gradually lessened, Lin Hao suddenly noticed that with every ladle of broth splashed onto the rock, the heartbeat sound emanating from within grew ever so slightly stronger in its oppressive force!

Although it was only a tiny bit stronger, Lin Hao could feel it.

He feared that at a certain point, the heartbeats coming from within the rock would herald the appearance of its owner.

What kind of monster would that be? Even now, the oppressive force was enough to make Lin Hao’s heart tremble. If it were to truly awaken, perhaps not even this world could contain it!

Damn it!

Who could have imagined that Resurrection Island, on Earth, was still harboring so many powerful beings from the Eternal Life Realm? The Earth of the future was bound to beco incredibly lively.

But could these powerful entities truly afford to disregard the Laws and act unbridled on such a low-level Plane like Earth?

Resurrection Island, the sealed ten-thousand-year-old Atlantis clan, the potential nurous beings from the Eternal Life Realm present on the island, and the guardians tasked with monitoring the Atlantean clan.

All things considered, this was far from simple.

However, Lin Hao no longer had ti to think about it.

He had a rough idea of what the elderly ghostly woman wanted to do. For the mont, his strength was insufficient to confront her. Once he had refined a few hundred or a thousand tons of Primordial Stones from the Void Ring and crafted a massive Primordial Qi Bomb to blast them with...

Ti! What Lin Hao needed now was ti.

So whatever Mo Changfeng did, Lin Hao didn’t intervene, nor did he speak. As for what the old woman intended to do, he ignored it as well. At this mont, Lin Hao focused all his energy on refining the Primordial Stones,

Dragging out the ti as much as possible to increase his chances of survival.

But before long, the elderly ghostly woman had already splashed all the at broth in the cauldron onto the giant rock, leaving only an empty cauldron at the center of the formation.

"It’s almost ti, it’s almost ti. Master, once your servant offers up these two fine morsels, you will quickly recover. When that ti cos, the Ghost Gate Elders will surely be no match for you."

The elderly ghostly woman returned to the empty cauldron, extinguished the Samadhi True Fire beneath it, and began to clean the cauldron while muttering to herself.

However, her words took Lin Hao and Mo Changfeng by complete surprise.

The Ghost Gate Elders, weren’t they the five eerily powerful beings who were neither fully human nor ghost that they had encountered in the Underground Palace?

This old woman’s master appeared to be an enemy of the Ghost Gate Elders, which ans he could be none other than...

The Heavenly Slaying Lord!

A na ntioned by the Ghost Gate Elders flashed through Lin Hao’s mind.

And this old woman, she intended to turn Lin Hao and Mo Changfeng into what kind of minced flesh... as a tonic for the Heavenly Slaying Lord?!
