Treasure?

Lin Hao is in short supply of treasure now.

The Primordial Stones he plundered last ti have already been spent, and now, facing a true Sky-breaking Expert without any Primordial Stones, retreat is the only option. If there really is such a place, then it would be a good idea to get so treasures for self-defense before the hunt comnces.

At the very least, it would make dealing with those powerful Sky-breaking Experts from the Western forces more manageable.

"Go, we must definitely go and see." Lin Hao’s eyes lit up, his gaze upon the mark on the map revealing a trace of a smile.

This is exactly what he wished for—the hunt? There’s still ti, let the Westerners wait; he will first explore this secret realm. Even if he doesn’t find any treasures, gaining so Primordial Stones would also be quite good.

However, Lin Hao knew that once he set foot on Resurrection Island, he would be under surveillance by the Western powers, so how to go there remains an issue.

Once that place is discovered by the Western Experts, the hunting grounds will no longer be that dense forest, but this secret realm.

"We can’t just go there openly; we must get there before they discover us, and quickly collect Primordial Stones and treasures."

Ziyue also understood Lin Hao’s predicant and added.

Lin Hao nodded with a smile, "Then, we depart from the fleet now and take a shortcut through the Death Sea to Resurrection Island. That way, we’ll have enough ti to enter the secret realm."

"Alright."

This is the only way, and no one would imagine that Lin Hao currently had the ability to navigate freely through the Death Sea Domain.

As the fleet entered the Death Sea Domain, with the dark clouds and lightning covering the sky, three shadows leapt out from the ships, boarding a small speedboat that vanished in the blink of an eye into the turbulent ocean.

Several days later, after passing through the heavy cloud walls, the trio finally entered the Storm Eye.

Blue sky, white clouds, and the vast Resurrection Island—it looked as if it were at the bottom of a larger well composed of clouds.

There weren’t many people here.

Cultivators would hunt on Resurrection Island, and nearly half of them would converge towards the dense forests.

After landing, the three of them quickly cloaked their tracks, changed their appearances, and headed towards the Great Secret Realm ntioned by Poison Rose.

By nightfall, the trio had finally arrived at a depression in the mountains.

Here, there were ruined stone statues everywhere, not resembling the products of Earth’s civilization. The woods were eerie and devoid of human figures, and a barely perceptible chill wafted from an unknown source, enough to send shivers down even Lin Hao’s spine.

"Where’s the entrance?"

Ziyue, being the highest in cultivation among them, expanded her senses as soon as they entered the forest. There was nothing in these vast valleys; no entrance to speak of, not even a human shadow to be seen.

"I... I don’t know either. The intelligence said that the entrance to the Great Secret Realm is right here, but it didn’t specify the exact location. Having left the rcenary union, Wild Wolf doesn’t trust anymore." Poison Rose bit her lip, also very anxious, looking around but unable to find any clues.

"Let’s search."

Only a few people knew of this entrance, and even the official forces of the Western and Eastern Groups were unaware of such a location on the island, which showed how secretive this entrance was.

It must have been discovered accidentally, and if it was by chance, it has to be sowhere unexpected.

But is there such a place in this forest?

Lin Hao looked around, the small mountain valley revealing nothing but so unidentified ancient trees and old sculptures scattered around the edges. After scanning the area, there didn’t seem to be any unexpected places in sight.

"Could it be..."

Suddenly, Lin Hao’s gaze landed on a large stone slab that was lodged diagonally into the ground not too far away.

That stone, it seed like an ancient stele, but the inscriptions had long been eroded by ti, and there appeared to be nothing special about it.

But, Lin Hao subconsciously felt that there was sothing wrong with the stone that was slanted into the dirt.

"What’s wrong?" Seeing Lin Hao walk towards the stone, Ziyue was taken aback and also looked at the stone.

However, that stone was truly plain and unremarkable. Among so many broken statues in the forest, it hardly stood out.

Nevertheless, as Lin Hao approached, Ziyue followed, and right after, Poison Rose also ca beside the stone.

The three of them circled around the stone and found nothing unusual when, suddenly, the stone began to emit a faint starlight!

"Be careful!"

Lin Hao frowned and shouted lowly, pushing Ziyue and Poison Rose behind him.

His expression beca grave.

On this stone, Lin Hao actually felt the Power of Space Laws!

What was going on? Could it be that this re broken stone was actually a treasure containing the Power of Laws?

To possess Laws was to attain godhood!

"We’ve got a situation! Seems like sothing is about to co out from inside!" Suddenly, Ziyue cried out, pointing to the stone. The starlight on the stone began to converge into Runes, and the Runes ford an arched gateway on the stone. Within the gateway, it seed as though there were layers of starlight like ripples of water, constantly twinkling, and strange sounds ca from the ripples as if sothing were about to run out.

"This is the entrance to the Great Secret Realm!" Ziyue’s eyebrow slightly raised, and she turned to look at Lin Hao: "It must be adventurers from inside who are about to co out."

"The Great Secret Realm has not been discovered by anyone in five years, with nurous treasures inside. Those coming out must have obtained many treasures. Perhaps we should..." A cold glint flashed in Poison Rose’s eyes as she looked at Lin Hao.

Rather than spending ti finding treasures in the Secret Realm, it would be more thrilling to kill and rob. Poison Rose, coming from a rcenary background, was no stranger to this kind of deed.

Murder and plunder!

Lin Hao’s brows knitted, as if he were making a tough decision.

"This idea isn’t bad, given the current circumstances. Relying only on us, it’s difficult to quickly collect enough treasures and Primordial Stones. To contend with the Western Sky-breaking Experts, we must resort to certain tactics. The ones who accomplish great things are not bogged down by trivialities!" Ziyue cast a glance of approval at Poison Rose.

"Fine!" Lin Hao nodded his head, waved his hand, and the three took positions around the giant stone, staring intently, awaiting the Cultivator who was about to erge.

Very soon, the power emanating from the stone grew stronger and suddenly the starlight burst, and a black shadow charged out of the stone.

"Hand over the treasures!" Right then, Poison Rose shouted angrily, pulling out a specially made gun, but before she could fire, she was dumbfounded.

"Watch out!"

To their surprise, what burst out from the stone wasn’t a human, but a male lion with golden curly hair!

"It’s a magical beast!"

Recognizing the male lion that dashed out, Poison Rose’s face paled and she cried out, imdiately firing a shot at the lion’s rear.

On Resurrection Island, wherever there were treasures, they would be guarded by Evil Beasts, creatures that had been nourished by the essence of heaven and earth all year round, becoming as powerful as Cultivators, known as magical beasts.

Magical beasts were inherently bloodthirsty and ferocious. Many Cultivators who died on the island perished in the jaws of these beasts, so Poison Rose’s panic was understandable.

But, the lion took a bullet without retaliating and instead knelt on all fours in front of Lin Hao, and to their astonishnt, spoke in human tongue: "Save ! Big brother, save !!"

A talking magical beast? There had been no such thing ntioned in any record, and moreover, the accent of this beast was unmistakably the Beijing dialect from Huaxia.

This...

Even Lin Hao was dumbfounded, his mind in utter shock.
