[Inspect (Level 1)

Effect: Allows the user to see the stats of the objects and people around him.

Skill points required to upgrade the skill: 1]

I looked at the description of the skill before looking at the soda can in my hand.

[Item: Cola Flavoured Soda

Effects: 10 HP, 200 Calories!]

Not much, but still better than nothing. I thought as I took a big gulp before throwing the can in the dustbin.

-Burp!

[Quest: Fill your Stomach completed!]

[ 25 Exp!]

Looking at the daily quests, I paused for a mont. Then, scrolling through the quests as I reached the daily quest part, I decided to complete these first.

"All right," I then decided to push the earth down, forcing one push-up at a ti.

I wouldn’t exactly say that it was easy or hard, but sowhere in between I got a little breathless. Not the sa as when I was in bed, but more like getting tired after a sudden sprint. Anyway, I finished it, completing the quest, and finally letting my body relax.

[Quest: Push-ups completed!]

[ 25 Exp!]

With that done, only two of the quests were left.

[Survive to the end of the day: 14 hours left till dusk!

Reward: 20 Exp!]

[Walk: 346/1000 Steps

Reward: 25 Exp!]

Seems like this is it for now. I thought as I looked at the whole system once again, trying to see if I had missed anything, but other than the [Side Quest] that asked to survive for another hour from the zombies, nothing else was worth ntioning.

"So, we have two tasks. First is to reach the 18th floor and search for Eva. And the other is level up to 10 to unlock the other functions of the system," I mumbled to myself before taking a step forward.

[New Side Quest: Save Eva Grace

Objective: Protect Evan Grace, trapped in the dicine on-call room, on the 18th floor.

Reward: 5 Stats randomly allocated to the user!]

"Whoa!" I saw the side quest generated in front of my eyes.

"No... fucking... way..." I spoke out loud as I then added,

"I have to kill all the zombies on the 18th floor west wing."

[New Side Quest: Kill all the zombies on the 18th floor west wing.

Objective: Kill the 23 zombies on that floor.

Rewards: 8 Stats randomly allocated to your status!]

"Kill all the zombies on the 17th floor west wing," I smiled, finding out a treasure, sothing that I can exploit in this situation.

[New Side Quest: Kill all the zombies on the 17th floor west wing.

Objective: Kill the 14 zombies on that floor!

Rewards: 5 Stats randomly allocated to your status!]

Though when I tried the sa for the 16th floor,

[You have the maximum number of side quests you can have at a ti. Complete the current side quests before creating a new one!]

"Ah!" I gasped.

I should have been more careful with that. I got carried away with the thought that I could generate infinite side quests.

With a slight sigh of regret, I then shook my head before slapping my cheeks as I focused on what was in front of . Then, recalling the basics of survival, I focused on the next most important thing in this apocalypse.

"I need a weapon," I mumbled.

The surgical instrunts should be in the operation theater on the 4th floor. Should I go down before moving up? I pondered as I recalled the locations. But then, thinking about the number of zombies down below, I grew a little skeptical about it. If I were to get trapped in between, it honestly wouldn’t be a rry thing at all.

"I should first check the renovation area to see if the workers left any tools behind," I pondered as I wandered back to where I had fallen before, and then slowly into the open gate to the hall that was being renovated into the ward. There were a bunch of chairs, beds and a few bags of cent.

Not exactly a sharp weapon, but...

I looked at the wooden cut pieces that can be used as weapons, a small hamr and an electric drill. Other than that, there were nails, and a nicely polished crowbar. Ooh! A bag! There was a dium-sized carry bag. That will co in handy.

Taking the carry bag, and then putting the nails into it first, then the hamr, I then picked up the crowbar. With the crowbar as the primary weapon, I wondered if I would be lucky enough to get a baseball bat. Combine that with nails, and we get a lethal, sharp and blunt weapon.

I also took a bunch of wires, duct tape and screwdrivers that I found before doing another search in the area and leaving from there.

"Do I really need another set of weapons after this?" I questioned as I looked at the crowbar in my hand, but then again... why not? Having an extra weapon could never hurt.

I walked as I humd the song ’In the End’ by Linkin Park, making my way to the 14th floor.
