He knew that after his action, it was impossible to remained in the village. It didn’t matter anyways, since his goal has been sowhat achieved, although in a form that was not within his control.
Fortunately, his white level mission target current condition is quite peculiar.
Being chased and hunted by the Sword Cloud Manjor, Shi Jing believed that the target wouldn’t run anywhere and remained hidden within the Forgotten Dark Forest.
Another reason he couldn’t stay at this Greenmud Village for too long is due to another reason.

"Are they gone, Uncle Jing?"
"They are gone." He said with a nod as he watches Xiao Yu clumsily climb out the floor.
Without much thought, Shi Jing walked to Xiao Yu, placed his hand on the child’s head, and examined him.
"Uncle?" Xiao Yu was confused as to why Shi Jing was patting his head, but he didn’t stop him.
After a brief mont of silent, Shi Jing spoke with a lodic voice.
"Xiao Yu, you have a spirit root, are you willing to walk the path of immortality?"
"The path of immortality?" Xiao Yu muttered in shock. He didn’t understanding what Shi Jing ant.
After all, he was just an orphan who lived in the Greenmud Village all his life. Immortality and cultivation aside, the only ’Immortal’ he has ever witness is that Immortal Cheng!
However, Xiao Yu is a smart child, how could he not grasp so clues?
"U-Uncle Jing, are you an Immortal?"
From the way Uncle Jing appeared as well as his stories regarding the Immortal, not to ntion his aloft attitude which always made him mysterious.

Hearing this, Xiao Yu was confused.
However, he believed Uncle Jing very much, so he quickly said.
"Uncle Jing, I want to believe Immortal! I want to walk the path of immortality, obtain great power, and make people live good!"
Hearing this, Shi Jing didn’t comnt on the young child’s aspiration, rely nodding his head in approval.
With a flick of his wrist, Xiao Yu body dropped, falling asleep instantly.
Then, Shi Jing touched his storage pouch, taking out low-grade talisman and placed it on Xiao Yu’s body.
Finally, the final gift is a jade slip as well as note.

After doing all of this, Shi Jing returned back to his youthful appearance. The wrinkles on his face disappeared and he wore a pristine black and white robe.
As he leaped outside the village, he headed toward the Dark Forgotten Forest with great speed, as though he was being chased by an invisible enemy.
Occasionally, his golden pupil would lit up unnoticeably.
During this week long journey, Shi Jing would spot several villages, but he didn’t’ stop at all.
’I have a feeling I’m being followed... If my guess is correct, then this is Elder Wang!’
Back then, Shi Jing being accused of being connected to the Sword Demon inheritance was beyond what he had predicted during the inner court competition.
Right after the competition, Shi Jing imdiately entered seclusion without interacting with anyone.
