Rain just had to make all the water move, or a good part of it, and freeze the rest and cover it with snow.
It needed to be bigger, though… hundreds of thousands of humans would have to live there and who knows how many sea folk as well.

Rain began to work on making the basis of the underground hideout. It was originally ten kiloters long and wide, but Rain wanted at least the double of the size since people would have to grow their food there as well. For so, the notion of remaining in place and facing the impending dangers head-on seed like a viable choice, even if it ant potential peril and the prospect of perishing there.

"Yes, he will help us," Rain replied while caressing Sealyn’s forehead in her mother’s arms. "I also found a place that we can use to hide. Once Rain was ready to move, he saw a bunch of people with minimal luggage already moving to the tunnels… they were ready to move, and it was better to make as many of them move as soon as possible to avoid trouble.
