Isa clarified to everyone that authority magic primarily influenced the target of the process, resembling the Greedy Vows. In this case, the emphasis was on the recipient, referred to as the second part. This individual had a pivotal role in the activation and effectiveness of the spell, which couldn’t be disobeyed.

On the other hand, the first part, usually the caster, had a relatively less active role and just needed to concentrate on overpowering the second part with their mana to trigger the spell.

In this specific type of magical interaction, the authority magic, primarily governed by the second part, influenced the success and outco of the spell. The first part, the initiator or caster, played a more supporting role by channeling an overwhelming amount of mana to activate the enchantnt or effect. Isa’s clarification shed light on the dynamic of this particular magical process.

Rain felt like it was sothing Rain had seen in an ani before… in several of them, in fact. Soone could control others without many limitations. In those anis, the user had a relic to help them with that, but the dragons were so strong that they didn’t need that when the target was weaker.

"I am amazed that the dragons didn’t use this magic to turn the whole world into their slaves," Branden said.

"The spell doesn’t last forever, unless a dragon uses all of their magic to completely make the target unaware that they are being controlled, they won’t fight back and decrease the effectiveness of the spell," Isa explained. "Even so, even without fighting back, the spell will weaken the more the target tries to go against it for one reason or the other."

"Isn’t that similar to what Artisia can do?" Seara asked.

"Similar enough, on a much smaller scale," Rain nodded. "She can control dragons, but she can only overwhelm one of them and nothing else, she also has to completely keep them under her control."

"Soone tried to offer sothing to you about magic contracts? Terms of peace or perhaps a truce?" Isa asked. "Your aura seems troubled, so I guess my guess was correct."

Rain let out a sigh, feeling sowhat exposed, as Isa had the uncanny ability to read him like an open book, thanks to her unique talent of reading auras. This skill allowed her to discern his thoughts and emotions almost effortlessly.

The surprising nature of this ability caught everyone off guard, leaving them sowhat astonished by Isa’s exceptional capability to perceive and understand the emotions and intentions of others through their auras.

"The dragons have been quiet as of late, so they must be planning their next big moves, you should have a month or two if nothing happens," Isa said. "I wish you good luck with that."

Isa abruptly ended the call, her tone suggesting an air of detachnt. Being soone who had lived for thousands of years, the loss of a few lives in that generation didn’t seem to shock or affect her much. Her response, though abrupt, hinted at the vast perspective and experiences she held compared to the relatively short lives of those around her.

"Well… what now?" Seara asked.

"Do you two think that they have reasons to feel jealous over that type of exchange?" Rain asked.

"Ehh… I prefer not to opine on such matters," Branden said.

"I am with them, unless they don’t know the person, you don’t have any reason to talk with other won," Esralda said. "This serves as a warning for you as well, Branden."

"Yes, ma’am," Branden said.

Rain showed indifference to Branden’s weak and spineless stance, perhaps indicating that Branden’s words didn’t hold much weight or significance. Moreover, Rain’s lack of surprise at Esralda’s alignnt with Seara and Terra stemd from his understanding of the unbreakable bond that existed among them, the sisterhood was always like that.

Despite the situation or evidence presented, their loyalty to each other superseded logic and reason, leading them to stand together regardless.

"I will ask again, what now?" Seara asked.

"We will stick to the plan… unless you have better ideas," Rain said. "I will also try to investigate this… authority magic isn’t connected to the sins and since others can use sothing similar, it shouldn’t be impossible to learn it."

"Who are you planning to use that kind of technique on?" Terra asked. "That doesn’t seem like the kind of thing you usually would do."

"Well, first… I want to learn the ins and outs in order to counter it if necessary," Rain explained. "After that, I plan to use it to force the enemies to reveal important information. It is the only way I can think of to learn about what the magic and beast people are doing inside their barriers."

Rain harbored a dislike for the implications tied to authority magic, as it posed potential threats and consequences. However, due to his lack of ample resources or ans to disregard it, he found himself in a challenging position.

He contemplated that if safeguarding what he valued required sacrificing his pride or compromising certain beliefs, he might reluctantly choose to do so, considering it a comparatively not so expensive cost to ensure the protection of those he loved.

One week after that, the group received another letter from the magic people… it reached Asche and Liss and while they knew about the response, they still inford the group in the capital. Stay updated via .Côm

"... They do seem quite interested in this truce, even though Liss and Asche didn’t say anything about other signs of fights near the border," Terra said.

"It doesn’t matter, we will keep ignoring them to make them taste their own poison," Rain said and then he began to smirk. "Once they are done, if they survive a battle against the dragons, they will be fired from fighting and watching their backs against us all the ti. Actually… maybe we should try to capitalize on this."

"Sohow, your scheming expression makes feel uneasy," Terra furrowed her eyebrows
