Lonos smiled since he could tell that Rain was trying to bullshit his way out of that ss, but soon his body began to change... Although Rain maxed out Limit Breaker, even after decreasing its level to increase its effectiveness, his youthful appearance never changed while the skill was active. Now, his appearance was changing even more... instead of showing like a perfect form of his peak physical vigor, the aura made him look beyond even that...
Instead of showing an aura of endless potential, Rain began to show an aura of almost absolute power... when Lonos recognized what was happening, he imdiately understood that a being like him never had a true endless potential... he was but like a program that had a single goal. Thanks to that, he could beco almost a being of five dinsions by having access to almost infinite mana at all tis. However, Rain was just showing the true strength of a being of a lower dinsion... by controlling the access of all his stamina for the next hours.
"... I bet that he will show up as soon as I am done with this to make good use of the situation," Rain said. "If he has any form of brain, he will co for ..."
Lonos gulped... Rain’s power of his Limit Breaker was increasing more and more. Stamina wasn’t sothing that the machine gods ever had. Having a body that worked like that never would work for them, or so they assud... but too late for that, he changed his mind.
"Go on, why are you taking so long?" Rain asked.
"... You will only attack when you have one hundred percent certainty that you will hit.. however, for how long can you endure that?"
The stress of pushing his abilities beyond their limits was taking its toll on Rain’s body. Cracks began to form, visible signs of the strain he was putting himself through. His relentless pursuit of power through the limit-breaker technique was causing his body to reach its breaking point. Lonos had warned him of this, and now it seed inevitable that Rain would face serious consequences if he didn’t act swiftly.
The cracks in his body were a stark reminder that he couldn’t continue to push himself indefinitely. As Lonos had predicted, Rain was risking permanent damage unless he found a way to turn the tide of the battle soon.
"It seems that even now, you underestimate the length of how far I will go..." Rain said while furrowing his eyebrows. "Truth be told, I want to finish things with the dragon god myself, but as long as I destroy you, the power of the aspect of ti will be added to the system. My friends will be able to obtain that and finish things with him. I am certain of that."
Rain’s words carried weight, and Lonos could tell that Rain was truly ready to die if that was the only way... the cracks in his arms were starting to spread to his torso and then reach his neck... soon enough, he would be a goner. This ti, it will be hard for his body to restore since all that had been self-inflicted damage. How will his willpower make him recover from that much damage when Rain himself was the sole cause of it?
Lonos just had to wait, but all his senses told him not to... for the first ti in bis existence, he felt fear... fear from the power that Rain could unleash at any mont, fear of the power that he was accumulating.
In the end, the portal in front of Lonos changed by automatically obeying his survival instincts... it was connected to the ti when he and the other machine gods had decided to create the dragons; if he could head to that period and stop himself, that would be the ultimate to change the future. However, as soon as he tried to cross the portal, Rain used Impulse.
Rain’s single footstep made the entire dinsion crack like a mirror... all the portals were closed instantly, and then Lonos opened his eyes widely when he saw Rain in front of him and already punching him... even his mastery over ti didn’t let him see that attack...
Rain’s punch connected with Lonos face and imdiately destroyed every single part of his being. That wasn’t the only thing that was destroyed... Rain’s right side was blown away to the point that not even blood or flesh was left behind. That weird dinsion cracked and then shattered at the sa ti instantly... the power of Rain’s physical might obliterate the highest level of magic.
As the shards of the magic dinsion shattered, Rain kept his punching stance, unable to move a single inch. The pain of his own attack completely knocked him out while he was standing. Just as Lonos had expected, his wounds didn’t begin to repair themselves at the insane rate as before.
Before long, the fragnts of Lonos core began to float around the area like diamond dust, but they were slowly drawn to ward Rain as if they had recognized him as deserving of all that knowledge and power... despite that, he still didn’t woken up.
