...….

"There's nothing but fog… and a… blood-red moon…?"

Azmodeus turned his head in every direction, but no matter where he looked, there was no plot of land that didn't have a fog-like mist covering it.

And above this blackened, misty surface, there was a moon as dark as the darkest of blood, looming over the pitch-black skies like a nacing jewel ant to light up the world.

If he were being honest, the aura pervading the air around this place was eerie, leaving behind a creepy ambiance.

However, he feared no monsters in the dark, so he took his first step since being transported to this ominous space, and that was when he noticed sothing unusual…

"My speed… I can't even achieve a running pace of travel…"

He felt the power coursing through his veins, and all of it was in order with no direct restrictions on his strength, so what exactly prevented him from surpassing 5 km/hr was sothing that eluded him.

At least, that was the case until he had a sudden flash of realization and muttered, "The Laws… The Laws that make up the materials of the train station and even the very space itself are so high in level that my body is nowhere near strong enough to affect much of anything…"

After understanding this fact, he proceeded to take slow steps in the direction of a flight of six cobblestone steps—steps that led up to where a dimly lit corridor of the train was left open.

*Step Step*

Azmodeus eventually found himself in front of the wide, black glass doors of the train as he moved his legs a couple more tis before making it inside the train's interior.

And it was at the mont he put one foot inside the train that its barely visible, foggy interior had an entirely different world open up for the confused man.

A wave of light surged from beneath his feet, streaking toward the front of the train. In an instant, too quick for even his extraordinary perception to register, the train was illuminated in a dazzling display of colors!

The fog dispersed, lanterns were lit up in quick succession, and various figures materialized from thin air.

All of these figures sat opon red cushion chairs while sipping mysterious green tea substances.

And then this was where the really unusual part ca in, as these figures were wearing top hats and black or gray striped suits, with their appearances being analogous to those of older English n.

However, it wasn't even the various anachronisms that left Azmodeus in a state of bewildernt, as it was instead the fact that floating skulls with faint green glows inside their heads were floating around, serving all the English people whatever they wanted.

What in the hell is this place…-?

"Ahh, we have a newcor, everyone! Look at him!" A friendly voice interrupted his thoughts as a man with a lavishly decorated mustache walked over to the tall, handso newcor.

"A newcor, you say?" A different English man stood up from the beautiful won sitting on his lap as he took pompous strides toward where the commotion was.

...

After a few seconds of different voices being passed around inside the train cabs, nearly five dozen English n and won were gathered around a man who looked way out of place in the middle of them all.

"So, which Mortal Realm did you co from!? Is it a famous one!?"

"How much Ascendance Value did your Mortal Realm have!?"

"What were the won like in your world?? Gorgeous or h…?"

"Excuse , Mr., but would you mind telling if you are taken…? If you aren't, then would you maybe consider…"

"..."

Azmodeus was being hounded by males and females alike, as everyone appeared to be extrely curious about his Mortal Realm.

He could glean a few interesting pieces of information from what they were blabbering about, and their attention being so focused on him was likely attributed to the fact that his appearance was unparalleled, giving everyone the assumption that his Mortal World was one of high renown.

And as many things he could think up to take advantage of their misunderstandings, it was never good to start out potential benefit-based friendships like that. So, in the end, he reluctantly sighed before backing up a few steps.

After which, he said, "I co from a world called Protheus—a world that all of you have never even heard of, and this world is nothing special, as it's rely a one layered infinity space-"

"You said Protheus!?" All of the English people snapped out of their dazes and shouted at the sa ti.

Azmodeus didn't understand their reactions, but he still responded, "...Yes…"

"Th-This…"

"To be from Protheus… Where those two monsters originated from all those eons ago…"

"The world that was banned from interstellar travel by the Galactic Lord… There were enough restrictions placed on that world to make it nearly impossible for anyone else to ascend…"

"A few billion years, and yet soone has already achieved sothing that should've been impossible…"

Everyone muttered among themselves with expressions of disbelief, as what they were hearing was sothing incomprehensible!

And following the chater, all of them backed away from the one with bad ons surrounding him, as they all headed back to their seats and resud what they were doing before the newcor entered the Astral Leap Locomotive.

"..."

Azmodeus watched everyone leave him in an instant, as nobody would even so much as look in his direction anymore.

At least, everybody besides one…

"Excuse , Mister."

A young, soft girl's voice sounded out as a kid with long silky black hair and white misty eyes around knee-high stared up at the otherworldly handso man in front of her.

Azmodeus turned his neutral expression down toward the innocent-looking girl with a hint of mystique to her appearance as he asked, "What is it that you want…?"

He didn't know why the other English people fled the scene as soon as he ntioned the world he originated from, but having this lone girl stay behind was more than a little unusual.

However, the girl in question thought nothing of it as she responded, "I-I am sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you could allow to tag along with you when the Astral Leap begins…?"

"Why would I do that? And why is a kid like yourself taking the Astral Leap?? Furthermore, what do you an by taking the Astral Leap? Wasn't breaking the World Barrier part of the Astral Leap…?"

Azmodeus was perplexed by a number of things right now; however, the fact that a young girl no older than 9 or 10 t the requirents for the Astral Leap was by far the most far-fetched notion!

To reach the Lunar Ascendancy Realm in combat power by the age of 10 in a Mortal World… That shouldn't be possible…

And for this particular situation, he was correct, as this girl did in fact not reach the Lunar Ascendancy Realm by the age of 10 in a Low-Mortal World.

She had instead achieved the state in a higher level world!

However, that was a topic for another ti…
