When the pair finally made it outside the glitchy-screened Do, Viola spun around, her glittering eyes locking on his. "I'm interested to know more about you and how you can do what you do, but I won't pry. And I also won't tell anyone else what happened in Oblivion's Threshold. I just hope you won't one day alter my mories like you did with the Green Dragon Hunter Party."
Cassius's brows slightly raised. "You noticed?"
Viola let out a small giggle before locking arms with him. "Of course I noticed, jerk. I may not look it, but I'm quite the intelligent researcher! Seeing unusual changes in other people and things is what I do best!"
Cassius paused, then smirked. "I don't know about you being so once-in-a-million-year genius, but you're certainly special. Only soone incredibly special would pretend to be so quiet and introspective brooder when, in actuality, she has a bad case of the chatterbox."
"Why thank you— Wait, are you insulting ??"
"I don't know, you tell ," said Cassius. "You're the genius here, while I'm but a mindless jerk."
"You…"
Viola's cheeks puffed out as she softly hit him several tis on the arm.
Within monts, their lighthearted banter blended in with the sounds that enveloped the world. They quickly vanished from the island, then spent the next couple of hours clearing Gate after Gate. Cassius did almost 99% of the work, but with Viola's Space Elent affinity presently higher than his, she was better at transporting them from monster to monster, making for far more efficient killings.
Of course, if he took off his now Newbie 9 Equipnt Set, he would be able to move about as fast as instantaneous teleportation. But with the Set on and his Newbie 9 Training Sword by his side, his movents were severely restricted. This was where nifty Skills like Teleport ca in.
While clearing Gate after Gate all over the world, his VoidWarper Skill Set took leap after leap in terms of proficiency, especially when he started integrating Void Port into his usage of Lilith. Together, the Skill and the blade transford the battlefield into a flash show of void portals and crimson slashes.
Then again, this level of deadliness only beca possible following the advancent of the Skill Set to Greater Completion, which increased the first two Skills' effective movent range to 100 ters!
Viola was, of course, extrely surprised by this thod of slaying monsters. She watched many tis as his jagged demonic blade vanished through a portal above his hands before appearing in front of a monster. After which, the demonic blade would pierce through the monster and instantly kill it. Sotis, the blade would even switch things up as if it had a mind of its own, sending out bloody slashes and whatnot following its teleportation.
It was even capable of flying around autonomously!
Though, considering how many unbelievable things Viola had seen today, a flying sword was definitely not the craziest one.

—So ti later—
Five or so hours had passed since Cassius and Viola first t each other. And just a few seconds ago, they parted ways with the promise of doing this again so other ti. Viola left with a lovely smile plastered across her normally emotionless face, and so too did Cassius smile. But that was only at first, for in the very sa mont he looked away from the stunning beauty, his smile faded and was instead replaced with a thousand-yard stare.
His mind was filled with the fragnted mories of the Alien he had slaughtered. In his hands also appeared the mysterious device that dropped from the Alien after its death.
'Although I don't know why they're targeting or what they're after, if they wish to play this ga of Hunter, then I shall play as well.'
'I just wonder which one of us will end up being hunted to extinction first…'
A cold gleam flashed past his dark red eyes as he blurred through the speedstream.
There were a few hours left until sundown, and with the prey clearly displayed on a virtual map within his mind, it was now ti to begin the… Hunt.

Seconds rolled over into minutes, and minutes beca hours.
Impatience among a certain crazed female of the Vampire race was also on the rise…
The school day had already ended. Bella felt that she had waited more than long enough! Today was supposed to be the day they eternally pledged themselves to one another! But where the hell was the groom on his big day!?
Did he not care a single bit about how his absence affected his soon-to-be bride!? Where was the decorum!??
It was just then that Bella's expression drastically changed. 'It can't be! Has he sohow figured out my plan and run away beforehand!? Has he… Has he abandoned …?'
The distressed vampire could hardly believe it herself, but no matter what she did to distract herself, she couldn't get the thought to vacate her mind. And with every passing second, her mood beca worse and worse, until eventually… she could no longer take it anymore.
"That's it! I'll have Father find my hubby! Right now!!" she deliriously shouted while flying above Hoshito in bat form. "If my husband won't let love him, then I'll make him want my love!!"
Her crazed ramblings and giggles ceaselessly sounded out, even as she entered her old mansion house and zipped through a portal to the World of Darkness. She went on to flap her wings until reaching an absurdly massive castle, where she then found her beautiful mother.
With mischief on her mind, the vampire MILF guided her daughter to the office that her workaholic father was currently staying in. After reaching the room and dropping off her 'gift,' the cheeky vampire MILF closed the door behind her. She found it hard to maintain her ladylike deanor while listening to the faint maniacal shouts of her daughter, as well as the quietness of her normally imperious husband.
