For a mont there, Viola Voidweaver actually held a modicum of seriousness within her. But all it took was a single dirty thought for her to once again return to envisioning a scandalous scenario that could only be read about in a Female Lead dark romance novel.
Viola was… she was too far gone…
FWIP! FWIP! FWIP!
Cassius, conveniently ignoring the unusually giggling purple-haired woman, kept on teleporting. He also switched things up and used the Void Port Skill, which allowed him to throw Lilith into a spatial portal and catch her on the other side of the spatial tunnel. Using the Skills in this manner, he was able to spam both Skills simultaneously.
However, after half a minute of doing this, Cassius's MP bar finally reached a point where he didn't want to risk losing any more. He stopped his discrete teleporting show and settled down less than a few inches away from Viola. Zoning out her weirdness, he glanced at the incoming System Notifications.
*Ding~!*
[Increased proficiency of |(S ) Teleport| Skill to 43.5% of Minor Completion!]
[|SSS-Rank VoidWarper Skill Set| increased to 43.5% of the Minor Completion proficiency stage!]
A small smile erged on Cassius's stoic face as he felt satisfied with his progress so far. With what he had, the Teleport and Void Port Skills were effective for a movent range of up to 15 ters, which was vastly superior to what it was a few minutes ago.
Viola also noticed this visible improvent to his Space and Void Elents, prompting her to ask, "Are you… sure that you're a human…?"
Cassius looked at her weirdly, before a sinister smirk appeared. "Am I human? Of course I'm not human… I'm an Extraterrestrial!"
"!!!" Fear drained all the color from Viola's face as she leaned back in fright.
A small chuckle echoed.
That was when Viola realized that he was just kidding. Her cheeks filled with air as she lightly punched him in the arm. "You're just a jerk. A big jerk!"
Cassius's smirk raised in amusent. "A big jerk, huh? I seem to get that title a lot…"
Viola returned to staring at his side profile, with her brows furrowing a bit in annoyance. 'Why would guys call him sothing like that? Must be other girls…' She clicked her tongue with a peeved expression before bluntly asking, "Are you single, Cassius?"
"???"
"I see that you have already gone past using 'Sir,'" said Cassius. "But yeah, apparently I'm not as much of a catch as I thought I was."
He shrugged while thinking, 'Well… my Alpha Sigma loner phase is mostly due to that bastard's blue balling…'
*Ding!*
'Oh no…'
[You called? (⸝⸝> ᴗ•⸝⸝)]
'No…'
[Too bad! I just wish to inform you that your suffering is all a part of further Character Developnt! Everything I, the System, does, is for a purpose!]
'Whatever you say, you sadistic bastard…'
Cassius's conversation with the Idle Evolution System ended there, but a different conversation was resud when Viola heard his answer. She nudged his shoulder with her shoulder, asking, "Are you not interested in a relationship? I would assu by now—with your interesting personality and handso appearance—that you would be taken."
Cassius pondered her question, eventually answering, "There are just… so things I have to do first…" 'The 9 Idle Benefits…'
He only hoped he didn't lose all of his emotions before he tread far enough along the Idle Evolution Storyline to unlock all of the Idle Benefits.
"Focusing on yourself?" Viola murmured with a curious glint shining in her srizing eyes. "I can understand that… But have you any plans for a future with a woman? With a family? With… kids?"
Cassius locked eyes with the enchanting Voidling Guild Leader. The hectic atmosphere that surrounded them added to the mont.
People wearing various uniforms ran around, inspecting and jotting down everything they could see from the aftermath of the world's first Gate explosion. There were even reporters from all around the world present. Yet not a single one of them seed to be focused on the otherworldly beautiful pair inconspicuously sitting in the back.
"Family…" Cassius muttered as he turned his face away from Viola's all-too-close face. "I don't think that is sothing in the books for ."
The Voidling Guild Leader unblinkingly stared at him. It was unknown what she was thinking about, but after a couple of seconds, she looked ahead, sa as him. "I've thought about having a family before. It's a nice thought. A really nice thought… But unfortunately, such a thing just wasn't in the cards for …"
Cassius could sense sothing more to her words but decided not to delve further.
However, unexpectedly, she shifted her gaze back to him and said, "You see… as one of the only Space users in the world, and the strongest one at that, I awakened with a high affinity to the Space Elent. I also happened to have a high affinity with the Void Elent, which was even rarer than the Space Elent."
Cassius waited for her to get to the cusp of her story, which she did after a lancholic sigh. "Because of these two Elents, a sort of imbalance ford in my body, particularly in my… womb area… And none know how to solve the imbalance… Family—it was never in the cards for ."
Cassius silently appraised her expression. 'She's not lying,' he thought. 'As for where the problem stems from, I'm not too sure. The Alien's fragnted mories ntion sothing about solving the issue with itself, but I don't know what that ans exactly.'
"Anyway," Viola said with a false smile. "Are you ready to head on to the other Gates I had prepared for us today? And don't worry, they are of the Red Rank this ti."
Cassius oddly looked at her, seemingly mulling over sothing.
However, when she got up off the rubble, he, too, rose from his spot. On their way out of the damaged reflective do, they had to—or rather, Viola had to—once more report what she 'saw' inside the Gate.
None were able to see Cassius, so he didn't have to do anything but look pretty.
