But no matter the Intent, they were generalized within four categories. These categories, despite not determining how good that specific Intent was, still guided future Evolvers toward the Intent ant for them.

Those categories and their subcategories were:

Combat – Attack, Defense, Blocking, etc.

Auxiliary – Knowledge, dical, Utility, Passive, Stealth, Crafting, and the like.

Miscellaneous – Wall, Bed, Lamp, and the like would be Intents under this category (essentially the useless kinds of Intents, possessing nowhere near the sa level of power as a normal Rank 2 Evolver using an Intent from a different Category).

Then there were |Special Intents|, which incorporated a spectrum that, while not as broad as the previous three, was far more extre and unique.

Blood, Gravity, Calamity, and the like would be considered |Special Intents|.

The only aspects of existence that couldn’t be incorporated into a beginner matrix like an Intent would be higher concepts such as Space, Ti, Karma, and a myriad of other higher universal powers.

In a sense, Intents were the cushion level between basic elental control that occurred in the 1st Rank and Law Comprehension that happened in the 3rd Rank and above.

Of course, with countless thousands of Evolution Paths to pick and advance in, how those Intents and the like manifested varied.

A current example was Borg, who, alongside the Fire Intent, mained in the |Fla Dominion| Evolution Path.

Borg and Jin had been fighting for roughly half a minute now. Though, instead of fighting, it was more just Borg mindlessly firing off fire spells while Jin jumped around the wide arena ring.

After another half a minute of evading and occasionally deflecting, Jin abruptly stopped moving.

Borg paused before a broad smirk crept up his square-shaped face. "See, was that so hard?? You’ve given up, so take my strongest move! It’ll be your honor!!"

Thousands of ters of the arena were engulfed by a massive explosion of flas.

"He’s dead for sure," soone in the stands said.

"Finally! This match was getting so boring!"

"Yeah... Wait... What is that...?"

As the smoke and flas cleared on the arena, a solemn silhouette ca into view.

The hearts of the millions of spectators stirred as they saw what looked to be... a second user of Fire Intent??

"I thought that Azmodeus guy was only supposed to be in the 12th Level of the 1st Rank?? How is he using Intent!? And it’s not a rudintary application of Intent either; it’s the fully solidified real deal!"

Azmodeus was the alias he nad himself for the League Arena. As a contrast to his ’The Benefactor’ Evolution Path Developers na, it would be impossible for any unrelated person to link the two personas to the sa person.

"You!!" Borg’s excitent over finally catching Jin in his attack was brief. Fury quickly consud him as he burst forward, a trail of fire shooting out behind him.

"You tricked !!!" he roared, in the process of unleashing two |Fla Busters|.

"Tricked you?" Jin angled his head in bewildernt, unconcerned about the bulky man’s furious blows. "If you’re referring to my Rank, I was and still am in the 1st Rank."

"Liar!!" Borg shouted, unleashing a firestorm of attacks, throwing the whole arena into a sea of flas.

Due to the severity of his attacks, the virtual arena was forced to increase its size, becoming several tis larger.

Jin frowned.

"You’re not showing anything new," he said with disappointnt. Borg’s flaming attacks, infused with the Intent of Fire, bent around Jin, acting as if they t a higher, imperable force.

"Why!? Why won’t any of my attacks connect!??" Borg was running low on energy, and due to so reason he couldn’t comprehend, his fire was unable to penetrate the thin barrier of fire that surrounded Jin.

"This is getting boring."

That indifferent remark was followed by an unbelievable scene, as the flas that surrounded Jin condensed into a spear shape. And with one finger flick from Jin, the flaming spear shot forward, blowing away thousands of ters of Borg’s sea of flas.

"!!!"

Before Borg had the chance to react, that flaming spear pierced through his virtual body, reducing him to nothing.

The audience went deathly silent.
