Chapter 1705: Chapter 21 Violent Flight Attendant
After the explosion, the train cabin was in shambles, with flas flickering in several places, emitting black smoke.
Pang iqin dashed forward at full speed, the wind pressure she generated causing the flas to bow and crackle under the force!
There was no room to evade. The short-haired woman raised her right hand in an attempt to block. Simultaneously, she dropped her empty-bullet revolver, reached for her waist, and drew a second handgun.
Bang! Pang iqin’s heavy punch smashed into the short-haired woman, an overwhelming force surging over her. Pain radiated through her arm, her legs buckled, and she collapsed uncontrollably to the ground.
As a Conqueror who had survived countless battles, the short-haired woman gritted her teeth and pulled the trigger, aiming at Pang iqin’s head.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bullets roared out with ferocity.
Pang iqin leaned her upper body back, countering with a swift kick from her right leg, landing squarely under the short-haired woman’s chin.
With a sickening crack of bone, the short-haired woman’s jaw shattered, blood spewing as her body was flung backward.
“Die!” Pang iqin shouted, pressing her hands down on the ground and springing forward like a cannonball toward the short-haired woman.
Her legs coiled like springs, and she curled her body tightly. The mont she approached her opponent, her form shot open with brutal precision.
Boom! Pang iqin’s feet slamd into the short-haired woman’s face.
Bang! The short-haired woman crashed to the floor and skidded across it. Were it not for her Protective Clothing, the shards of glass on the ground would have shredded her entire body.
Pang iqin landed, her right hand pressing against the floor for power once more. Her upper body, nearly parallel to the ground, snapped upright and lunged forward as her legs burst with propulsion.
Repeated blows coupled with severe injuries shattered the short-haired woman’s resolve. With blood covering her face, she used her hands and feet to scramble away, desperate to escape. She knew other Conquerors were in the train cabins ahead. If she could just create so distance, Pang iqin wouldn’t dare go all out against her around so many others, lest she be caught off guard by an opportunistic attack.
“You can’t run!” The beautiful-leg stewardess drew a dagger and thrust it directly toward the short-haired woman’s eye.
The short-haired woman raised her arm to deflect the blade. As the dagger veered off course and she prepared to retreat, she saw her opponent’s left hand swoop down like the talons of a hawk, clamping down on her head.
“You’ve fallen into my trap!” Pang iqin roared, her left hand exerting imnse force.
Crack! The short-haired woman’s skull was crushed directly, brain pulp and blood splattering in all directions.
Only in her final monts did the short-haired woman realize: the dagger was rely a feint. The true killing blow had been Pang iqin’s left hand. With her strength, she could crush an elephant bare-handed; this level of raw power was unmatched.
Watching the entire scene unfold, the European man was utterly stunned. He could not fathom Pang iqin’s savage violence. After reevaluating the disparity in their strengths, he quietly retreated.
“No ambition for glory, just aiming to do no harm—so long as I gather sufficient intelligence for the first group, my mission is considered complete!” he muttered to himself, refusing to admit that he was, in fact, terrified.
“That was amazing!” Lu Fan cheered, raising his palms toward Bai Guo.
The natural stupid one was puzzled.
“A high-five, you dunce!” Lu Fan rolled his eyes in exasperation.
“Oh!” Bai Guo extended both hands.
Smack! Lu Fan slapped her hands with such force that Bai Guo’s entire body shook, causing her chest to ripple dramatically.
“Damn it! Are you showing off? You’re totally showing off!” Lu Fan scowled, putting on a nacing face as his hands grabbed Bai Guo’s chest firmly, kneading aggressively.
Survivors from the other groups were dumbfounded, unable to restrain themselves from gulping audibly.
“No way! This can’t be real! How can her physical abilities be this remarkable? She must be cheating!”
“Definitely! Even our Beastification System Group Leader doesn’t have this level of explosive power. Sothing about her is absolutely abnormal!”
“Trojan, scan her and give us an explanation!”
The survivors grumbled incessantly. Who could bla them? Pang iqin’s showcased physical prowess was so terrifying that, with a single comparison, it beca clear she outclassed even the strongest in their respective groups. How could they not be anxious?
“Watch your words! There is no possibility of cheating during the Holy Land War. You are welco to question, but deliberate accusations will result in punishnt!”
The Trojan system responded, stern yet noticeably milder compared to the Silver Trojan.
“Then what’s with her body? Unless she used all her points to enhance her physique, how could she possibly be this overwhelmingly strong?”
A Conqueror barely finished his question before the Trojan cut him off.
“She indeed used all her points to enhance her body because she has no Seed Ability and no other options to choose from!” Naturally, the Trojan didn’t divulge her use of Pandora’s potion.
“No Seed Ability? How is that possible?” The Conqueror was visibly shaken, his mind struggling to process the situation.
“Then how did she survive?”
“It’s absolutely impossible! We barely scraped through even with abilities, yet she, a non-ability user, reached the Holy Land?”
“Your feeble minds could never comprehend it!” Yu Deye sneered at the stunned onlookers, though he himself was equally astonished.
“And for the record,” the Trojan added, “of those we know, Pang iqin is the second individual to participate in the Holy Land War without abilities. In a way, she’s even more extraordinary than the Seven Great Seeds!”
The implication only fueled animosity toward the Warhamr Team, but the statent also drew more attention to Pang iqin. Soon, the screen tracking her team was surrounded by spectators, with even more people crowding around to watch.
On the train, the commotion from the explosion had drawn an increasing number of Conquerors toward the front of the train.
The beautiful-leg stewardess stood at the frontmost carriage, locking eyes with them. Calmly, she began dismantling the connector between the carriages.
Several Conquerors were unwilling to let her go, but in the end, they held back—not just because of their reluctance, but also out of fear of being attacked by others.
“Let’s all go at her together and kill her! If we don’t, we’ll definitely fall behind!” soone proposed, yet no one responded.
Everyone ntally weighed their options. Even if they let Pang iqin escape, they would still remain in the first echelon, far ahead of others. Her team’s second perforr couldn’t possibly be this strong, allowing them a chance to make up the difference later. But dying or getting injured now would waste much more ti than they were willing to risk.
Having survived endless bloodbaths, Conquerors were rarely afraid of death. One man, watching the distancing train head, clenched his teeth and emptied his shotgun toward the front while sprinting forward. He leaped, aiming to board.
Pang iqin’s expression remained cold. She grabbed a bundle of newspapers and hurled it viciously, simultaneously firing a single shot from her revolver!
Boom! A fiery explosion engulfed the thuggish man as the heatwave scattered, forcing the others to instinctively shield their faces. Watching the charred body tumble off the tracks, they couldn’t help but feel relieved they hadn’t acted impulsively.
Pang iqin ignored the remaining individuals and charged toward the train head.
“More coal! Speed up!”
The two drivers, staring down the barrel of her revolver, didn’t dare argue. They shoveled coal into the boiler with all their might.
“More!”
“If we add more, the boiler will explode!” Cold sweat poured from the drivers’ faces. They were sure this woman was a lunatic.
“Do as I say!” Pang iqin glanced swiftly at the pressure gauge, calculating the remaining distance. She fired a warning shot for intimidation: even at the boiler’s limit, there was still a safe margin that would get them to Hastings in ti.
Before entering the train station, Pang iqin leaped from the train. Without even reaching the town proper, she could already see the rippling blue waves of the harbor, crowded with all kinds of ships.
To avoid wasting ti wandering, Pang iqin spent £100 to hire a newsboy as a guide and then flagged down a carriage, racing to the Mariti Bureau in record ti.
During the Industrial Era, transportation wasn’t very advanced. On the ferry route to Boulogne-sur-r, departures were sparse. The earliest available ship wasn’t until 3 p.m., and tickets had gone on sale days in advance.
Pang iqin let out a breath, only to hit a snag at the ticket counter. She had no identification, and her situation imdiately raised the ticket seller’s suspicions.
“Damn it! How could I forget this?” Pang iqin smacked her forehead and hurriedly left the Mariti Bureau.
Fake identity? Too late for that. Considering the massive train explosion and the death toll, even the notoriously inefficient London police would start taking action. After all, this era at least had telegrams, putting her in an increasingly precarious position.
“Idiot! Kidnap the head of the Mariti Bureau and force them to get you tickets—any ticket you want!” Yu Deye mockingly derided Pang iqin. “That’s the fastest thod. Huh? What’s with that look on your faces?”
Seeing Lu Fan and Yin Shangwu staring at him like he was an idiot, Yu Deye felt indignant.
“That’s exactly the look one gives an idiot!” Lu Fan bluntly retorted. “Are you dumb or what? First of all, how do you even find the head of the Mariti Bureau? Okay, let’s suppose you storm his office or stake out until he cos out. Then what? If a high-ranking official still on the clock suddenly goes to buy unnecessary tickets, do you think the ticket seller won’t find that suspicious?”
Yu Deye was dumbstruck. That was indeed a valid point.
“Next ti, try thinking before you speak!” Lu Fan turned to Gu Xueqi with curiosity. “What would you do?”
“Find a local to buy the tickets,” Gu Xueqi replied, her quick thinking evident. “But traveling abroad likely requires specific docuntation, so it’d be easier to just steal a ticket. However, that would waste ti and might not secure the correct destination ticket. No, there’s another option—head to the boarding zone!”
So had begun piecing together solutions, while others remained stumped. Hearing Gu Xueqi and Lu Fan’s responses left many montarily stunned before shaking their heads in frustration. The gap in their analytical abilities was undeniable.
Given enough ti, most Conquerors could co up with solutions, apart from a few particularly slow thinkers—like Bai Guo, the quintessential natural stupid. However, the speed and efficiency with which one ca up with a plan often defined their competence.
Gu Xueqi and Lu Fan stood out as undeniable prodigies!
So people might never get the chance to travel far in their lifeti. For such individuals, the experience of purchasing a ticket might only involve straightforward queueing and waiting. Complex factors like ticket scalpers or green channels would likely remain completely foreign concepts to them.
As a flight attendant, Pang iqin had been exposed to such processes countless tis. Her experience and ability to think on her feet allowed her to identify and exploit gaps seamlessly.
“Excuse , sir, where should I wait for the ship heading to Boulogne-sur-r?” Pang iqin approached an employee and inquired with a composure befitting a traveler preparing for an international journey.
“Over there!” The employee pointed casually, showing no suspicion. (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, please visit Qidian (qidian) to vote with recomndations and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation. For mobile users, please visit m.qidian for reading.)
