The iron-shod hooves struck the cent road, their rhythm like pounding drums. The cavalry, resembling thick, dark storm clouds, instantly flooded onto the Long Street.

Swish—The commanding officer raised his Bronze Sword high and swung it forward. Instantly, the Qin Army unleashed a dense volley of arrows, swarming like locusts. The barrage devoured the war chariots and even embedded into concrete buildings.

"Where are you?! We’re about to crumble here!" The Captain of the Bait Squad clutched the sound pickup, roaring loudly, his whole body drenched in sweat as if fished out of a lake. Hearing no reply, he angrily kicked the young soldier beside him. "Activate the shields! Full defense mode!"

The cavalry remained as silent as water. Their terracotta faces held expressions of cold, ruthless killing intent. They drew their bows like machines, loading and releasing arrows in chanical precision.

"You bastards! If you don’t make a move, I’m going to die!" The Captain furiously shouted, "Once I get back, I’m going to make sure you regret this!"

"Captain, Li Si is here!"

The Captain turned back and spotted, through the rearview mirror, an opulent carriage hauled by eight robust stallions. Panic surged through his face, and he pleaded with a tearful voice.

"Boss, I’m begging you, can’t you toss a lifeline since we’re all miserable here? Li Si’s shown up, and you seriously want to die here, don’t you?!"

On the Warring States Period Decorative Horse Carriage, the Pri Minister Li Si, donned in red-and-black official robes, glowered angrily. If it hadn’t been for ng Tian and those bumbling fools dying in battle, crude tasks like fighting on the battlefield would never have fallen to him.

Before the Captain could finish his lant, energy rippled violently all around. Suddenly, blue electric arcs exploded outward. First, they pulverized more than a hundred pioneer cavalryn, then chained outward like interlinked lightning, encircling the cavalry.

Light beams, bullets, and abilities flooded the area like a storm, engulfing the Long Street.

The cavalry hesitated montarily, their bodies collapsing. Yet they showed no fear, unwavering even under ambush, continuing their fearless charge.

Boom! Boom! Lu Fan unleashed her ability. The buildings flanking the Main Street seed aged by millennia, eroded by ti and salt, collapsing into sand like a tsunami, surging onto the road.

Horrified screams filled the air as soldiers and the neighing warhorses were swallowed, crushed, and buried alive by the rampaging Sand Castle Storm.

Fireballs, ice spikes, and raging winds swept through the battlefield, yet none matched the impact or sheer devastation caused by Lu Fan.

The Conquerors instinctively glanced at Lu Fan, their eyes wide in disbelief, stunned by her sheer, unrelenting power.

"Oh, insignificant skills, nothing worth ntioning!" Lu Fan replied modestly, though the curling corners of her lips clearly revealed her inner pride. At last, she was of use to her uncle.

"See? No way a kid survives in Trojan World without so extraordinary talent!"

"She has to be a genius. As far as I know, the only other child under ten in this world is Nightmare Loli from the European region. There’s no one else."

"Still, I wonder who’s stronger—these two lolis? Tang Zheng is such a nice guy. Without his help, a kid like her would’ve long been discarded as a burden."

"Enough chatter! Pump up the firepower and keep attacking." Tang Zheng shot Lu Fan a look; the loli understood imdiately and dialed back her assault.

Li Xinlan didn’t even bother making a move; trash mobs weren’t worth wasting energy on.

"Fei Fei, lead the Long-range Faction to clear out stragglers, then regroup and support us. The rest, follow !" Tang Zheng commanded before leaping out of the shelter first.

A young man deliberately lagged behind, only for Tang Zheng to react with uncanny foresight. He drew his Magic Fla Handgun Rare Edition and fired a gathering light beam.

The building collapsed as the beam grazed the young man’s cheek, frightening him into a cold sweat.

"Screw up again, and you’ll die." Tang Zheng glared at him, then dashed through the ruins, suppressing Li Si with Roaring Empress firepower. "Defense Type, hurry up and intercept those attacks."

"A bunch of rabble!" Li Si swept his eyes over the battlefield, remaining calm despite the annihilation of most of his troops and the enemy charging toward him.

With a sweep of his wide sleeves, Li Si’s oversized robe unleashed a roll of Three-feet Bamboo Slips, streaking forth like fiery teors, their ink-colored radiance slashing toward Tang Zheng.

Li Si’s keen eye discerned that Tang Zheng was the leader of the rabble; he resolved to behead him first.

A few Defense Type soldiers eager to curry favor quickly erected barriers in front of Tang Zheng. To their surprise, two of them even took positions right in front of him.

"Don’t bother with ; go restrain Li Si."

As Tang Zheng spoke, the bamboo slips arrived, shattering five barriers and striking a at shield. The latter failed to withstand the attack, coughing blood as he flew backward.

Another soldier, seeing the sheer ferocity of the bamboo slips, hesitated at the last second and veered to the side.

"Don’t attempt to block them head-on!" The group shouted warnings at Tang Zheng as he stood firm, no intention of dodging.

Tang Zheng’s arm was enveloped in a gravity field, which collided heavily against the bamboo slips.

Bang—The bamboo slips were deflected into mid-air, then unfurled.

"Strong Attack Type, destroy them!" Tang Zheng wasn’t reckless; before intercepting the bamboo slips, he had already layered five gravity fields around himself, drastically reducing the slips’ impact by the ti they reached him.

While others were marveling at Tang Zheng’s ferocity, his commands snapped them back to action. They imdiately launched their assault.

The unfurled bamboo slips began spinning, their inscribed words leaping out one by one, enlarging and smashing against everything in sight.

Boom! Boom! Boom! The characters erupted like heavy bomb blasts, unleashing scorching flas and waves of heat.

The Conquerors’ offensive ca to an abrupt halt as they instinctively tried to evade.

"Don’t dodge! Defense Type, hold your positions!" Tang Zheng unleashed Gravity Abyss, dispersing the shockwaves while simultaneously dragging his troops toward Li Si.

As always, so shirked their duties. A short man hunched down, believing Tang Zheng wouldn’t notice. The next mont, he was caught by a Gravity Hand and flung straight at Li Si.

Whizz, whizz—Even those lagging behind in the defense formation weren’t spared.

"Don’t force to kill you." Tang Zheng pulled a Conqueror toward him with one hand; the man tried to resist but had his head smashed to bits by a Gravity Bomb.

"Our Group Leader is charging forward, and you dare cower like chickens?" Pang iqin shouted furiously.

The combined attack from the Strong Attack Type overwheld the bamboo slips, destroying them.

Li Si waved both hands again, launching over a dozen bamboo slips. They ford a ring, raining down inscriptions that exploded and burned wherever they struck.

After witnessing the earlier deterrent, the Conquerors now behaved obediently. Among them, pragmatic soldiers finally coordinated, allowing Defense Type troops to successfully encircle Li Si.

"Attack Type, unleash firepower!" Tang Zheng, initially in the frontline, gradually fell back while directing his team strategy.

"First wave retreat, second wave step forward."

"Li Si’s preparing an ultimate ability; hit him hard and interrupt the move!"

With over a hundred Conquerors and no risk of facing a boss as strong as Bai Qi, Tang Zheng finally felt in control.

"Hey, you in blue—only got two moves?" Tang Zheng scanned the battlefield, paying particular attention to rare abilities that could significantly alter the tide.

By now, except for the unlucky soul dispatched by Tang Zheng, no one had died. This fact alone earned Tang Zheng respect from his peers.

"Healing System, drag the injured out!" Tang Zheng organized four tiers of Defense Types based on their performance. With all of Li Si’s abilities and the Long-range Faction clearing out the stragglers, Tang Zheng decided to ramp up the offensive.

"Third wave, activate restriction techniques; bind Li Si." Tang Zheng charged into the fray beneath the glow of a White Dwarf Star. "All units, full firepower! Behead the boss!"

Tang Zheng intended to perform a probing strike to adjust tactics, but to his surprise, Li Si faltered imdiately.

Disheveled and pathetic, Li Si’s official robes were in tatters, exposing his thin, terracotta-like fra. His warhorse had long perished. Now, he foad and roared, desperately trying to shatter their ranks and escape.

"He’s making a run for it! Push harder—finish him off!" On the brink of victory, the Conquerors went mad with reckless energy expenditure, eager to claim the kill.

Li Si was inherently a strategist, not a combatant. Even against a warhamr squad, he wouldn’t last long. With enough generals at his side, he would’ve remained close to Qin Shi Huang, never venturing out alone.

The united force of over a hundred Conquerors was too much for Li Si. Three minutes later, the battle was over.

One Group Leader seized the loot drop but hadn’t yet ward to it before hearing the Group Leader’s suggestion.

"Without Tang Group Leader, there’d be no victory. The spoils belong to him."

The Group Leaders hesitated briefly but quickly agreed. With power blocs everywhere, the loot was out of their reach anyway. Better to earn Tang Zheng’s favor.

"That’s what I thought." Knowing he couldn’t keep the spoils, the Group Leader promptly handed the fluorescent bamboo slips to Tang Zheng.

"So many people—it’s impossible to divide them fairly. I’ll hold onto the loot for now and redistribute it after we kill Qin Shi Huang." Tang Zheng didn’t stand on ceremony, tossing the bamboo slips to Li Xinlan before pulling out a war chariot and heading for the underground palace. "Move quickly, or you won’t even get a taste of the soup."

"The rewards from soone like Qin Wangzheng—a world-class boss—must be unique!" Lu Fan noticed hints of dissatisfaction among the crowd and imdiately diverted their attention. "We can’t let Di Jingfei get ahead of us; everyone gets a share."

"Cough. We’ve taken down Li Si. Dantai, what’s your status?" Tang Zheng deliberately coughed, believing Dantai would understand his unspoken aning.

"Things are great here; co quickly. We’ve already encountered Qin Wangzheng." Dantai played his part perfectly, fanning the flas of the group’s eagerness.

Just as expected, everyone’s focus shifted. People always harbored fantasies of striking it lucky and refused to miss their chance.

"Idiots. Don’t know their limits—they think they can snatch food from Di Jingfei?" Clever ones existed everywhere, but under the current circumstances, no one dared voice such thoughts, knowing it would offend Tang Zheng.

"Tang Group Leader, we’d prefer to stay behind," one Group Leader spoke modestly, seeking safety over rit.

"Whatever."

Unwilling to waste ti on this insignificant matter, Tang Zheng directed the fleet to move out. Sixteen minutes later, they reached the underground palace.

In the vast and open terrain stood a pitch-black orifice, like the gaping maw of a ferocious beast longing to devour, leading straight into its depths.

Signs of battle were everywhere—shattered terracotta warriors and Buddha statues littered the area, their fragnted bodies strewn across the ground. Black, foul-slling blood filled the air, grotesque and putrid.

"Go in!" Tang Zheng charged into the underground palace entrance first. With Dantai having scouted the path beforehand, he felt assured that any danger ahead would’ve been flagged. (To be continued.
