The young man with a Mohawk hairstyle beca famous at a young age. As a mber of the top team in Asia, ranked even among the top five globally, his confidence was sky-high. He naturally believed himself to be the center of the world, deserving of everyone’s attention.

"Ahem, who are you people?" The Mohawk straightened his back, casually flicking at his uniform’s hem as though it wasn’t intentional. Apart from his protective clothing, he wore a uniform that was rather dashing, albeit with an air of superiority in his words that was frankly annoying. "State your abilities, then go rest in the corner. When it’s your turn to fight, soone will notify you. If you wander aimlessly and disrupt the plan, don’t bla for being rciless."

The Mohawk didn’t bother seeking Tang Zheng and his group’s opinion. He acted entirely as he pleased, as if he were a military policeman and the Warhamr team were Jewish prisoners locked in a concentration camp.

Tang Zheng had a natural arrogance at his core. His philosophy was always "You respect an inch, I’ll respect you a mile." But hearing those words, his initial intention to coexist peacefully instantly shattered. He couldn’t even be bothered to look directly at him.

In the lobby, the Conquerors were all showing amused expressions, although out of respect for the Dragon King’s team’s reputation, none dared to whisper among themselves.

"Hey, I’m talking to you!" The Mohawk was annoyed, having lost face. He seed to hear whispers of mockery and quickly took a few steps forward, preparing to lash out. "Stop right there—are you looking for death?!"

"Who even are you? Do I know you?" Lu Fan rolled his eyes, his small white teeth crunching audibly on a lollipop.

"Let’s stay calm and talk this out." Jiang Xiuming, no stranger to the ways of the world, smiled amicably, attempting to diate.

"Get lost. Who gave you permission to speak? Bring your group leader here!"

The Mohawk wasn’t entirely lacking in intelligence. From the way the group was positioned, he deduced that the youngest-looking one must be their leader. His words were also an intentional attempt to provoke dissatisfaction in Jiang Xiuming toward their leader, aiming to sow discord.

Jiang Xiuming’s face stiffened. He had once been a group leader himself and felt humiliated to be scolded so publicly. He also found Tang Zheng’s indifference increasingly irritating. What was the point of opposing this guy? What leverage did he even have?

Though Tang Zheng was undeniably strong, Jiang Xiuming didn’t believe he could defeat the mysterious and low-profile Dragon King, a figure rumored to possess power on par with Earl Qian Nian.

"Tang Zheng, cut the tantrum. That guy’s group leader is Di Jingfei," Jiang Xiuming remarked bitterly. His grueling survival experiences had long since worn down his fiery courage. These days, he often swallowed his pride for the sake of practicality.

"Oh, stirring up dissension now, are we?" Lu Fan spat out the lollipop stick, unwrapped a new one, and, after rolling it playfully with his tongue, shot Jiang Xiuming a look of contempt. "Uncle, soone’s looking down on you! Are you seriously going to just take that lying down?"

Being belittled by a little loli made Jiang Xiuming’s face instantly darken. The surrounding chuckles and sniggers only fanned his temper.

"What a sha. I wanted to provoke Jiang Xiuming and see what this guy’s capable of," Lu Fan muttered.

Seeing that Jiang Xiuming had no intention of retaliating, Lu Fan’s large, expressive eyes flickered with cunning as she prepared to take action herself and gather so intelligence.

Their opponents ca from the prestigious Dragon King team, whose re na carried intimidating weight, making these other people too scared to even breathe heavily. Clearly, this Mohawk wasn’t just so minor player.

Although this little loli believed Tang Zheng was invincible, caution was still necessary. If he couldn’t utterly dominate his opponent, wouldn’t that tarnish her uncle’s wise and brave image?

"Hey! Who do you think you are, shouting your head off here? You’re giving a headache." Lu Fan shouted, but the Mohawk ignored her, his gaze instead glued to Mu Nianqi with a possessive intensity, as if he could swallow her whole.

"Hello, I’m Li Yuan, the seventh-ranking mber under Group Leader Di," said the Mohawk eagerly, taking a few hurried steps forward. He extended his arm for a handshake without waiting, his eyes locked on Mu Nianqi. "What’s your na?"

"Move it! You’re in the way!" In order to assert his status, Li Yuan harshly kicked a man who hadn’t even been obstructing him.

The victim of the kick dared not retort, quietly slinking off to the side.

"Dantai is probably coordinating the battle!" Mu Nianqi turned and said, "Let’s go find him."

Queen Mu was as forceful and self-absorbed as ever. If she didn’t care about soone, even if the president stood before her, she wouldn’t spare them a glance.

"A cold-on-the-outside, fiery-on-the-inside kind of woman? Just my type!" Li Yuan’s gaze obsessively trailed over Mu Nianqi, wishing he could devour her. Since becoming a Fearless, he’d long given up on wooing won, resorting instead to brute force and coercion. After all, in Trojan World, no law could punish him. "How about a 3S-grade artifact for one night with ?"

The crowd gasped. Even just a mont ago, so had held dismissive expressions, but now their gazes turned grave. They couldn’t decide whether this guy was a playboy or simply reckless beyond belief.

A few female Conquerors looked at him with fiery eyes, seemingly tempted to volunteer themselves.

Mu Nianqi’s response was simple: air condensed sharply around her, forming a dozen translucent Wind Blades that screeched through the air as they slashed toward Li Yuan.

"Insignificant skills." Li Yuan waved them aside with a single motion. The blades dissipated as easily as swatting flies. Yet in the next mont, the smirk on his face froze.

Whoosh, whoosh. Two Northern Wind Rings materialized behind Li Yuan and struck his back. Though he wasn’t injured, the unexpected blow clearly annoyed him.

"Sister Mu, get him!" Lu Fan energetically waved her small fists, baring her teeth like an angry kitten.

"Whose kid is this? Don’t they know the rules?" Li Yuan cursed, launching himself toward Mu Nianqi like a bullet, energy gathering in front of him to form a structure resembling a warship’s ram.

The wild airflow wreaked havoc, the blast flipping several Conquerors on either side. Jiang Xiuming hesitated, unwilling to confront it directly, and retreated a step.

Lu Fan snorted coldly. Sand spilled from her wristwatch, rapidly forming a spiked shield that she hurled toward Li Yuan.

"Get out of my way!" Li Yuan’s target was Mu Nianqi—he had no interest in dealing with so kid. His counter wasn’t just to knock her aside, it was lethal.

Bang! The spiked shield shattered into flying sand but began re-condensing before it could scatter.

Li Xinlan and iqin had been ready to intervene, but Tang Zheng acted first.

Boom, boom, boom!

Invisible gravity shots struck Li Yuan, causing his body to stagger as his blood surged violently. He was forced to stop.

"You want to die?!" Li Yuan roared, flipping off Tang Zheng. From behind Tang Zheng, a Spirit Beast with eight eyes manifested, its saliva-dripping maw lunging toward him.

The crowd gasped, thinking Tang Zheng was dood. Yet he didn’t so much as shift his feet. A burly, armored general appeared behind him, drawing a blade with lightning speed to cleave into the Spirit Beast’s skull.

"Hey, look here!" Li Yuan, using a prop to teleport, appeared directly before Tang Zheng, his right fist aid squarely at his cheek.

Seeing no reaction from Tang Zheng, Li Yuan grinned smugly. This strike was a surefire hit—the Spirit Beast’s attack had rely been a ruse.

The very next mont, however, Li Yuan’s smile froze. His fist stiffened, stopping just an inch from Tang Zheng’s face, unable to move closer.

"Oh no!" Li Yuan panicked, realizing he had underestimated his opponent. As he tried to retreat, a fist rocketed upward, its accompanying gust sharp enough to cut skin like a blade.

The Gravity Reversal effect hamred into Li Yuan, causing him brief pain and slowing his movents.

Bang! Tang Zheng’s uppercut struck Li Yuan’s chin, launching him like a sandbag.

Despite his ample combat experience, Li Yuan instinctively activated his shield mid-air to stabilize himself. Fearing a follow-up attack from Tang Zheng, he imdiately entered Hero Mode.

"Such impudence—clearly nobody taught you manners," Tang Zheng said dismissively, adopting a tone like a crotchety old man. "If you want to start trouble, call your group leader. You’re not qualified!"

Mocking laughter filled the room. While Li Yuan had activated Hero Mode and claid he wasn’t hurt, it was clear he had been outdone. Compared to this young man, Li Yuan’s deanor fell far short.

"I’ll kill you!" Li Yuan growled, his face alternating between pale and furious hues. Despite his threats, he remained unmoving—Tang Zheng’s ability clearly unnerved him.

"Oh, stop it already. You can’t beat him anyway. Instead of flapping your gums, why don’t you run ho and get your daddy to back you up?"

"Who’s there?!" Li Yuan snapped, glaring to his right.

"Your big sis, that’s who!" A woman, around 26 years old, stood, holding an oversized hamburger. She couldn’t care less about Li Yuan’s shaky wrath. "What, want to take a bite out of ? Give it a shot, see if I don’t knock the stuffing out of you."

"Xiaolei, stop fooling around," a middle-aged man said, tugging on Zhu Xiaolei’s arm, clearly exasperated by his unruly subordinate.

"I’m not the one fooling; he is." Zhu Xiaolei took another bite. Suddenly, she looked down. "Huh? Where’s my cola? Oh, there it is."

She bent down to grab her bottle and took a few swigs before staring back at Li Yuan. "C’mon, if you’re gonna fight, hurry up. I was just looking to work off this al anyway."

Her companions couldn’t bear to watch, covering their eyes in embarrassnt.

"Oh no, Big Sister Xiaolei is at it again!"

Though they teased her, her teammates all stood up, clearly ready to back her up if necessary.

Zhu Xiaolei, despite her loud and carefree deanor, was a ga company employee who’d died of overwork. Though blunt, she had a kind heart and couldn’t stomach bullies like this.

"Hey, your outfit looks kind of like Jewelry Bonney from One Piece’s Eleven Supernovas," a middle-schooler muttered thoughtfully, stroking his chin.

"It is Gluttonous Girl! You watch One Piece too?" Zhu Xiaolei instantly appeared in front of him, tugging her T-shirt eagerly. "What do you think? Does it look right?"

Defensive clothing above rank 2S could have customizable exterior designs. Though Zhu Xiaolei wore shorts and knee-high boots, the exposed portions of her legs were actually covered by invisible material, providing ample defense.

So other Fearless chuckled. They weren’t inclined to provoke anyone unnecessarily, but if a fight broke out, they doubted they would lose to Li Yuan. The only reason for hesitation was the looming presence of Di Jingfei.

"Stop laughing!" Li Yuan roared, his demand only making the laughter in the lobby grow even louder.

"Screw you!" Zhang Anyuan tossed a leather shoe at Li Yuan. Though it missed, the resulting burst of laughter turned his face iron blue.

"You bastards, just wait until Group Leader Di’s Iron Fist punishes you!" Li Yuan spat angrily before scurrying away. (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, please visit Qidian (qidian) to cast votes or support with monthly tickets—your support is my greatest motivation.)
