1113: Chapter 77: The Unexpected Demise of the Conquerors 1113: Chapter 77: The Unexpected Demise of the Conquerors “I’ll go with you!” Pang iqin withdrew her Demon Ripper and took out Hell’s Song, loading a full ammo clip; however, she had only run a few steps when Tang Zheng stopped her.

“No need; you and Xin Lan stay here to guard the wounded.” The Dantai people were severely injured and would have no power to counterattack if ambushed; Tang Zheng didn’t want any more accidents.

“No need; let her go with you,” Dantai objected.

“Yu Manli is quite cunning, and ordinary people can’t trap her.

She hasn’t shown up for so long; sothing must have happened.”

Dantai was even more pessimistic than Tang Zheng.

“Alright then.” Without using the stairs, Tang Zheng pointed to a rooftop not far away.

A secondary gun of the Steel Sky aid there, firing a light beam that pierced through the ceilings of twenty floors.

“Hmm, I was wondering why Rogers was so calm; turns out he had a rare card.” Just as Tang Zheng was about to jump down, he heard the success of unlocking and saw a Team Dismissal Card in the pop-up virtual list.

“We’re just newbies; killing us would be of no benefit!” Asakura Sakura boldly negotiated with Tang Zheng.

“You don’t have to worry about us becoming potential enemies; we might even die in the next round.”

“Who said I’m going to kill anyone?” Tang Zheng glanced at Asakura Sakura and then refrained from killing them.

Wasting an opportunity on a bunch of worthless newbies was simply an unprofitable deal; better save it for ambushing fourth-order Conquerors.

The Team Dismissal Card can be used three tis in total, and now only two uses are left—without a doubt, it was Rogers who had used it.

The Japanese sighed with relief; once Tang Zheng had spoken, not even four horses could retrieve it.

But the next mont, their faces changed drastically, turning pale, as Xu Liangmao’s roar ca through the walkie-talkies of the Warhamr team.

“Group Leader, there’s trouble; Conquerors are attacking us!”

“It’s the Japanese!”

With the death of the Demon Mayor, the jamming radio waves began to dissipate, and the walkie-talkies filled with the sounds of dense gunfire, chaotic footsteps, and heavy breathing, indicating the life-and-death crisis they were in.

“Which floor are you on?” Dantai struggled to stand and moved toward the hole, ready to join the battle.

“Why are there Japanese?” Teng Yuangxiang barely finished shouting when Tang Zheng scolded her.

“Shut up!” Xu Liangmao was being chased; how could he have the ti and energy to answer such an irrelevant question?

Tang Zheng quickly jumped down the gaping hole the orbital cannon had blasted in the building and went to the rescue.

“Old Xu, which floor are you on?

Be careful; I’m going to bomb the building.”

Based on where they had encountered the black man, Tang Zheng estimated they would be no more than twenty floors up; it would take him at least fifteen seconds to rush there now.

Tang Zheng committed to free-falling, and as he was about to reach the 80th floor, he took out a ‘worm leg’ three ters long—an SS-level heavy individual energy cannon nad Mother Empress’ Roar, a breach weapon he acquired in the last round.

Tang Zheng pulled the trigger, aiming down, and a white antimatter beam half a ter in diater shot forth, instantly vaporizing concrete, breaking through floors as he continued to fire while falling.

“We’re on floor thirty-six.” Jing Xiang cried out, shouting, “Brother Tang, save us, Yu Manli volunteered to cover our retreat; she may have already been killed.”

“Yu Manli volunteered to cover a retreat?” Pang iqin, holding the walkie-talkie, couldn’t help but interject.

“She really did cover us!” Xu Liangmao added guiltily, thinking that this was the kind of job he, as a man worthy of his salt, should be doing.

“Get to the stairwell and wait for .

I’ll be there in ten seconds,” Tang Zheng roared.

Yu Manli was driven into a corner by the Third-Order Japanese man, with a swarm of Bloodthirsty Beasts continuously launching attacks, not only tearing her Protective Clothing but also infecting the wounds they bit, causing a strong numbness that almost immobilized her.

“You can’t escape; just stay here and let enjoy myself once!” The speaker was a Japanese youth with a Mohawk dyed yellow.

Yu Manli fought back with punches and kicks, repelling the Ferocious Beasts, but inside, she scoffed.

She hadn’t expected that at her age, over forty, soone would still fancy her; the guy had to be a Pervert.

“I didn’t expect to encounter a second teleport, but I suppose my Luck isn’t too bad, getting to pick up a great bargain,” the Mohican youth laughed triumphantly.

When Tang Zheng was fighting on the rooftop, Yu Manli and two others were waiting to take advantage of the black man and the Ghost Knight, hoping to gain while they wore each other down.

However, the black man turned out to be stronger than they anticipated, overpowering the Knight even though he was seriously injured afterward but still beyond their capabilities.

Yu Manli decisively ordered a retreat, and by the 29th floor, they saw a Japanese youth about seventeen or eighteen years old leisurely putting his hands in his pockets and whistling cheerfully, bouncing along, moving through the stairwell.

Shi Tianxu’s team had just passed the Trojan Horse Ga but, instead of returning to the Trojan Room, found themselves secondarily teleported.

Appearing in this building and seeing the ss, he decided first to head to the rooftop to see who was battling.

That’s when he noticed the four on the run.

“Three nobodies and one severely injured prey!” The battle-thirsty Shi Tianxu didn’t care who they were.

He released his ability, and a horde of Spirit Beast Beasts appeared in the corridor, lunging at them.

Shi Tianxu was quite confident.

Initially planning to massacre Jing Xiang running in the front, his face lit up with ecstasy upon seeing Yu Manli; not wanting her to be killed by the black man, he sped up, rushing past Xu Liangmao and Jing Xiang, aiming straight for the black man.

He wasn’t worried about those two small fries getting away; spirit beasts were more than capable of tracking them down.

Xu Liangmao and Jing Xiang both possessed beastification abilities, skilled in running, and naturally left Yu Manli behind.

“It’s over!” Yu Manli, hit by the black man, spat blood and tumbled away.

Seeing the distance between herself and Xu Liangmao widening, plus Shi Tianxu’s mad rush towards her with a crazed expression, she knew she was cut off.

Biting her teeth, she made a decision and yelled at Xu Liangmao and the other, “Run, I’ll cover the rear.”

“I hope you’ll rember this favor and resurrect .” Yu Manli started to move evasively, biding her ti.

She recognized the excited look on Shi Tianxu’s face; it was typical of perverts when they tortured their ‘prey’.

“Get lost!” The black man was completely enraged; he hadn’t expected Shi Tianxu to have the guts to approach, which ant the man must be strong.

“Foolish, Susano, suppress!” With a slash of Shi Tianxu’s right hand in the air, a giant spirit appeared behind the black man, wielding tachis that slashed at his body.

The black man tried to dodge but found his body bound by semi-transparent energy ropes.

Had he been in good condition, Danny could have broken free, but his serious injuries ant he paid the price for his negligence with his life, lasting only three seconds before being cut into three pieces.

Yu Manli broke through a wall and entered a bedroom, then made a hole through another wall to escape Shi Tianxu.

“Lucky!” Shi Tianxu grabbed the black man’s space wristwatch, praising it before chasing after Yu Manli.

“You can’t escape.”

Indeed, Yu Manli couldn’t escape, as various spirit beasts pounced and clung to her tenaciously.

“A woman’s struggle at death’s door is most delectable.” Shi Tianxu laughed heartily, rembering the other two small fries, and decided not to waste any more ti.

“Susano, imprison!” At Shi Tianxu’s command, the spirit appeared again, grabbing Yu Manli by the neck with one hand.

“Tsk tsk, the Group Leader’s ability is really useful, I’ve almost forgotten my own powers,” Shi Tianxu walked up to Yu Manli, glanced at her cheek, and sighed in disappointnt, “Such a sha, the face is post-surgery.”

Shi Tianxu pounced again to chase Xu Liangmao and the other; Susano followed closely, still holding Yu Manli by the neck.

The mature woman’s neck was grasped tightly, her face turning red, unable to say a word.

“Stop running.

Today, you’ll all die.” Shi Tianxu laughed arrogantly as he saw the small fries entangled by the spirit beasts.

“I love the feeling of crushing.”

“All in, Jing Xiang, you run.” Xu Liangmao decided to go for broke; one death was better than two.

“Don’t.” Jing Xiang felt no affection for Yu Manli, but Old Xu had taken good care of her, and she couldn’t bear to leave him behind.

“Go now.” Beastified Xu Liangmao went full firepower and montarily withstood the onslaught of spirit beasts.

“Hmph, you’re all going to die, Susano, obliterate!” The mont Shi Tianxu finished speaking, a beam pierced through the ceiling, and amid the flying dust, a young man fell, firing at the spirit beasts.

Just before hitting the ground, a black eagle swooped down, grabbed his shoulder to ease the descent, and then released him.

Tang Zheng landed and imdiately lunged at Shi Tianxu.

“Kill her!” Shi Tianxu snorted and commanded Susano to grab Yu Manli’s head and yank it off, freeing his hands to fully engage Tang Zheng and also to play mind gas, using the horrific death of a comrade to demoralize them.

“Die!” Tang Zheng roared as the giant spirit tossed Yu Manli’s lifeless head towards him.

He released four moon blades and shot out the moon-shaped flying blade, the Oshu Eagle carrying rabbit explosives collided with Shi Tianxu like a whirlwind.

“Fourth Order?” Shi Tianxu couldn’t quite gauge Tang Zheng’s strength, but seeing him badly wounded, he decided to gamble.

When Tang Zheng jumped down, he didn’t show his full power on purpose, to deceive his opponent, and it paid off.

Shi Tianxu blocked the moon blades with his samurai sword and closed in, ready to behead Tang Zheng, only to find his opponent suddenly activated Hero Mode, exuding a formidable aura.

Tang Zheng’s powerful punch smashed into Shi Tianxu’s face.

He couldn’t dodge and was sent flying.

Susano’s tachi ca slashing down.

Tang Zheng stretched out his arm, grabbed Shi Tianxu by the ankle, and swung him like a whip to block the samurai sword.

“Susano!” Shi Tianxu cried out in shock and anger, then felt a sharp pain in his thigh.

Susano was a fraction too slow in retracting the blade, nearly severing his thigh.
