Early morning in Reinhard City, Aiden and his team arrived and landed inside the city gates. They were completely exhausted and needed to rest. Aiden turned his head and saw that Amber and the others were clearly sleepy.
"Rest for a while in my consciousness. Once I arrive at Reinhard’s residence, I will let you know," replied Aiden.
Aurora and the others obeyed. They transford into balls of soul energy and entered through Aiden’s forehead. Only Joe did not enter Aiden’s soul consciousness, because Joe was not Aiden’s tar.
The two walked down the main street of the city, stepping among the crowd of people with tired eyes. It took them about an hour to arrive in front of the gate of the Reinhard residence.
The gate guards known who Aiden was. They imdiately opened the gate and let Aiden enter. Aiden’s arrival was seen by Helen, who was training with one of the family elders.
"Aiden?" called Helen.
She stopped her training and hurried over to Aiden. Aiden turned slowly, then smiled with a tired expression. The Reinhard family elder arrived in front of Aiden and helped him walk.
"What’s wrong with him?" Helen asked.
"He’s just tired. You don’t need to worry, young lady," the elder replied. Helen nodded.
He carried Aiden’s body into the Reinhard residence. There, the middle-aged man imdiately laid Aiden on a long sofa, causing other elders to co over out of curiosity.
"What happened to him?" asked another elder.
The elder stood up and turned around, saying clearly that Aiden was just tired. This made the elders sigh softly, as they had thought Aiden had been seriously injured during his mission.
"Then what about his mission?" asked another elder.
"I don’t know, his plate is in his magic pouch, we can only wait until he wakes up," replied the elder.
Helen entered the house and told the elders to take Aiden to a room on the second floor, a room usually reserved for guests of the Reinhard family.
The elders nodded. Two elders carried Aiden, while the other two took Joe. Aiden and Joe lay on soft, warm beds, and the elders reported Aiden’s arrival to Henry Reinhard.
Three hours passed, it was now 10 a.m. Joe was the first to wake up. When he opened his eyes, there was breakfast on the table in the room.
He turned and looked around, but Joe couldn’t find Aiden. Ignoring the breakfast, Joe rushed out of the room and t a maid.
"Where’s Aiden?" asked Joe.
"Sir Aiden is resting in the next room," replied the waiter, looking frightened.
Joe nodded and imdiately rushed into the next room. The door was open, he saw Aiden still fast asleep, undisturbed by anything. Even his breakfast nu had not been touched at all.
"Huh! I thought you were sowhere else," asked Joe.
Surprisingly, three energy balls of different colors—red, blue, and black—erged from Aiden’s body. The three energy balls transford into humans: Amber, Aurora, and Rachel.
They saw Aiden lying alone on the large, soft bed. Not wanting to miss this opportunity, the three girls lay down on the sa bed with Aiden. Aiden didn’t wake up.
"Ahhh, this is much better," said Amber.
It didn’t take long for the three girls to fall into a deep sleep, trying to hug each other, with only Amber and Aurora getting to hug Aiden.
Joe just shook his head, feeling confused by them. However, he couldn’t deny that the bed was indeed comfortable.
After waiting for about half an hour, Aiden opened his eyes and saw Aurora, Amber, and Rachel sleeping on his bed. Aiden was shocked and tried to stand up while moving away from them. But the three girls didn’t seem bothered at all.
"What happened?" asked Aiden, quickly turning to Joe, who was sitting and eating an apple.
"I don’t know. When I woke up, I saw my body already on the bed," Joe explained.
Aiden squinted, trying to rember what had happened earlier. He rembered seeing Helen and the elders. After that, he couldn’t rember anything else.
"It’s possible that the elders brought us here," said Aiden.
"That’s possible," Joe explained.
While Aiden was still in shock, the door to his room opened. It wasn’t a maid who ca in, but Henry. He ca with Helen to check on Aiden.
Luckily for them, Aiden had already woken up, while his bed was occupied by his three female friends. Henry chuckled at the sight.
"In the end, the n gave in. Isn’t that right, Aiden?" Henry joked.
"Y-Yes."
"Haha! I’m really impressed that you completed the mission and returned so quickly. The Hurd family head told ," replied Henry, surprising Aiden.
"What?! Mistress Rose?"
"What did she say?" asked Aiden, curious.
"That—"
"I said, don’t leave without telling !" shouted a woman, coming in wearing a purple dress. It was Mistress Rose Hurd.
"You! I ca yesterday to give you a gift, but you left in the middle of the night. Are you afraid I’ll kill you because of Allana?!" snapped Rose.
Seeing Rose, Aiden imdiately stepped back, bringing up the flaming spear in his right hand. To Aiden, Rose was a threat because she was Allana’s mother.
"I knew it. You’ll continue to be wary of ," said Rose, sighing.
"Of course," said Aiden firmly.
"Listen, Aiden. Rose told everything. She even apologized directly for Allana’s behavior towards you," explained Henry.
"Then?" asked Aiden.
"She ca here to repay you. It’s because of your wise decision to forgive Allana," said Henry.
"I don’t need that. All I want is for her and Allana to get out of my life!" said Aiden firmly.
"This kid is really stubborn," said Henry.
Aiden had grown up; it wasn’t easy to erase hatred and anger from an adult’s heart. Henry couldn’t do anything. If Aiden refused, then Rose couldn’t force him either.
"Alright. I won’t bother you anymore, Aiden," Rose explained.
"I’ll also ask Allana to forget about her problem with you, too," Rose added.
"However, if you need my help, co to Dourstad. I’ll help you."
Rose walked out of the room, Henry chasing after her. Now, only Helen was left there, trying to calm Aiden’s still angry heart.
"Aiden? Are you alright?," Helen asked softly.
"I’m fine. Thank you for helping this morning, Helen."
