Lady Mu imdiately thought this was her chance to turn this disastrous situation on its head; thus, she stamred, "Y-Yes, my dear son Lucifer, you are right! Co here, my lovely Li Yan. Mommy will give you so hugs and kisses-"
"Say, how about you go and beat her, Li Yan? Maybe do it just like she beat you?"
"!!!"
Lady Mu's outstretched hug drooped down to both of her sides. Wide-eyed and slack-jawed, she stared at her son like he was really the Incarnation of the Devil.
But regardless of how she felt on the matter, Lucifer was only looking at the pan-faced little girl.
"So…?" He asked once more.
"..."
Li Yan flipped her eyes between her distraught mother and big brother Lucifer. Then, without further contemplation, she picked up a stick and walked up to her mother.
However, before she even made it a few feet away, Lucifer said, "Wait, using sothing like that is so inefficient. Plus, she still has her cultivation base, so let …"

Lucifer blurred from his spot, and when he reappeared, he was looming over his mother with a 5-foot-long blade in his hands.

Without giving her the chance to uselessly flab that gaping hole of hers, Lucifer plunged the sword into the pit of her stomach, effectively shattering her Dantian Space, Dantian, and Core in one go.

Even though Lady Mu had grown used to pain in order to be an assassin, this level of pain was way beyond anything she could tolerate!
As her soul-wrenching screams resounded in the surrounding mountain landscape, Lucifer tossed a tal bat toward Li Yan.

"Don't worry, the bat may look ordinary, but it is of the Peak Mortal Rank. In fact, it may be one of the best weapons I have. However, now it is yours."
Lucifer gave the young goth girl a thumbs up, permitting her to do as she wished with the writhing Lady Mu.
Even though he would still get the kill in the end, allowing his pawn to get her due justice was okie dokity for him. Plus, she seed like the type to stab him in her sleep if things didn't play out the way she wanted them to…
'Honestly, this girl is quite the oddity… even more so than I am…'
Lucifer didn't know what it was that made him feel this way, but his gut told him that this pawn's usefulness might extend beyond even the Nascent Soul Realm.
There was no basis for this belief; he simply felt sothing extrely special within his Eighth Youngest Sister…
"Anyway, go ahead and get to swinging!"
Lucifer snapped himself out of his thoughts and encouraged his sister while making swinging motions.

That was all the indifferent young girl said before getting even closer to her squirming mother.
As the girl rcilessly swung at her 'mother', Lucifer's expression froze in place.
He was unable to believe that Li Yan actually said that about him…
"To call a dum dum… This has to be the greatest afront to my great and noble na!"
Lucifer demanded compensation for this insult!
But upon realizing that the girl was a broke bloke just like him, he decided to rob her only after he made her rich.
"It's called an investnt, Umu." Lucifer lightly nodded his head, taking occasional glances at the ruthless girl.
"Even though Li Yan is only at the 8th Stage of the Body Refinent Realm, with the help of that technique of hers and the bat, her cultivationless mother is left at the whim of her swings."
Lucifer analyzed the strikes of the girl, appreciating the arch she made with her arms.
"Even the form and grit she incorporates into each strike is quite skilled."

Lucifer cupped his hands over his eyebrows, attempting to find the bug that dared to intrude his airspace.
However, after realizing that it was just Lady Mu, he put down his hands and shouted, "Hey, Li Yanny, try swinging with a bit more umph! You know, put your hips into it and really get your form on point!"
Lucifer demonstrated the peak of swinging, curving his hips, and rotating everything in just the right direction.
In response to this silly demonstration, Li Yan mumbled, "Not na… And no. Dum dum sucks at swings…"
Lucifer's eyelids started to twitch.
"T-This girl is…"
That girl knew she was useful to him, which was why she had the nerve to speak to him in such a manner!
But it wasn't like Lucifer could change that fact, so he simply clenched his fists before sitting on a large boulder. Fists to his chin and in a relaxed posture, he watched as every swing knocked even more of Lady Mu's teeth out.
"Damn, for such a chill-looking girl, she is even more cruel than I am!"
Of course, this was untrue, but Lucifer felt like this would make him feel better about himself (which it didn't).
Nevertheless, after a few more minutes of whacking away at the hollow head of Lady Mu, her life-force finally felt like it was on the verge of fading away.
Step Step
Lucifer approached the grueso scene and said, "You really went above and beyond, Li Yanny! With an appearance like this, she might even be able to audition in a zombie movie as a really scary zombie!"
He patted the blood-covered girl's head, making sure to snatch up the bat in the process.
'She's too terrifying to leave with a dangerous weapon like this….'
If one looked close enough, then they would see a slight pout form on Li Na's pale face.
"Umu? The fuck you want?" Lucifer looked down at the grumbling girl, making sure to put the bat further away from this maniac.
"You said bat mine… Na not Li Yanny… It's Li Yan."
With the sa expression devoid of emotion, she extended her hands, seemingly expecting sothing to fall in them.
"Well, guess what? I lied! You don't need any weapons!"
Lucifer adamantly refused to hand this insane girl any of his expensive things-!

"???" 'Tears?'
He looked toward the source of the droplet sounds and saw Li Na clenching the hem of her black frilly dress.
With tears raining down her face and puffy cheeks, she made use of all her natural cuteness!
But unfortunately for her, Lucifer still didn't give a fuck!
"Ha! I don't care!" He spoke these words while 'accidentally' inching the bat into her arms.
After taking the bat, Li Yan stopped the waterworks and returned to complete neutrality. After which, she swung it around a couple tis, feeling that it fit her style quite well.
It was only after this point that Lucifer realized that he might've just been played…
"I can't believe I let this sneaky little b*tch…"
Veins popped up on all parts of his head.
Even though he tried his best to rein in his annoyance, he needed sothing to take out his frustration on.
And what better to do that with then with the help of a small Loot Bag!?
