Chapter 517: Section 304: Visit by the Thief

A mysterious figure had been hiding at the window.

He watched as the people from the City Lord’s mansion carried seven large boxes to the dock and boarded the Dragon Lion rcenary Group’s ship, then left with the empty boxes.

Then, he quietly observed as the carriage carrying the Dragon-man youth drove away from the dock.

He glanced at the sky and began his move.

He reached into his bosom and took out a tomato.

Of course, this wasn’t a real tomato, but an alchemy treasure.

The treasure was of Gold Level!

The mysterious figure pressed the top of the tomato with his thumb.

The next mont, like a pocket watch, the tomato opened halfway, revealing a smooth and flat cross-section inside.

The figure infused it with fighting energy.

After a large amount of fighting energy filled it, the tomato’s cross-section changed, turning into a clock face with clear scales.

The face also had three hands, representing hours, minutes, and seconds.

The figure then pressed the top of the tomato again with his thumb, and the clock hands imdiately began to move.

In a few seconds, the figure’s silhouette rapidly faded, turning into a vague outline.

Soon, even the outline disappeared, and the mysterious figure beca completely invisible.

The mysterious figure closed the tomato clock and put it back into his bosom.

He gently pushed open the window and leapt out.

He stepped across rooftops, closing in on the Dragon Lion rcenary Group’s ship swiftly.

After covering a certain distance, he gently landed, setting down on the open space of the dock.

There weren’t many pedestrians on the dock.

The figure quickly made his way underneath the flagship of the Dragon Lion rcenary Group.

Without any hesitation, he lightly leaped and landed on the side of the Triangular Love Ship.

He extended his hands, with fingers spread apart.

He gently touched the surface of the Triangular Love Ship’s hull with the pads of his fingers.

At the mont of contact, his Golden Fighting Spirit caused ripples of fighting energy on the hull, giving him solid leverage points.

The mysterious figure hung in the air, climbing up with ease, supported only by the alternating touch of his fingers, like a dragonfly skimming the water.

In about 10 seconds, he had scaled over the ship’s side and set foot on the deck of the Triangular Love Ship.

Nurous Investigator-type Alchemy Puppets were scattered around the dock.

They monitored all of the Dragon Lion rcenary Group’s ships, paying particular attention to the Triangular Love Ship.

But the entire process of the mysterious figure’s movent didn’t trigger any awareness from the alchemy puppets.

anwhile, the Magic Images was projected within the Deep Sea Monster Fish as well.

Similarly, the images showed not even the slightest trace of the mysterious figure.

The mysterious figure walked on the deck.

His walking stance differed from that of a normal person.

He walked on his tiptoes, heels raised.

Whenever his tiptoes touched the deck, a small ripple of golden fighting energy would briefly appear.

Originally visible, the ripples of fighting energy beca colorless and imperceptible under the influence of the tomato clock, leaving no trace of their presence.

A patrol of rcenaries ca from around the corner.

The mysterious figure sidestepped, sticking close to the wall and easily avoiding them.

The rcenaries passed him by.

At the closest point, the mysterious figure’s shoulder was rely a fist’s distance from one of the rcenaries.

Without waiting for the rcenaries to go far, the mysterious figure directly followed and continued his movents.

Passing by the ship’s stern, the mysterious figure’s ears twitched.

He heard a strange noise coming from inside the ship’s stern.

He arrived at the door of the ship’s stern.

First, he opened his left hand and gently touched the door with the pads of his fingers.

Ripples of golden fighting energy appeared once more and quickly spread over the entire surface of the door, then penetrated inside the ship’s stern.

The door to the ship’s bow was locked.

Under the influence of the Golden Fighting Spirit, the lock quietly opened.

At that mont, two patrol teams were on the deck, the rcenaries walked while surveying the surroundings.

The door to the bow was right under their watch, as their gazes frequently swept over it.

The mysterious figure, skilled and bold, decisively pushed the door open a crack.

The next mont, he executed a combat skill.

His entire body flowed like water, quickly slipping through the crack.

The interior of the bow was vast, with a very simple setup.

Inside, there was only one person, the big guy.

“So, the noises I had heard before were just the snores of this dude sleeping?”

The mysterious person’s gaze was imdiately drawn to the big guy.

He saw through the trick at a glance.

Although the big guy was in deep sleep, he was also cultivating his fighting energy.

“Fighting energy cultivation through sleeping? What kind of fighting energy technique is this? Interesting.”

“No wonder the snoring sounds peculiar, faintly revealing a transcendent aura.”

“I thought it was coming from those treasures.”

The Heartless Sleep Form that the big guy was practicing was carefully selected from the War rchant’s database for him by the dragon-man youth.

The mysterious figure didn’t recognize the origin of this fighting energy formula, as it was, in fact, quite difficult to identify from appearances alone.

“This little giant is on the verge of a breakthrough.”

The expression of the mysterious figure turned subtle.

He noticed that the big guy’s Life Breath was approaching the border of the transcendent.

The next step would be to transcend the mundane, shedding the identity of an ordinary person, and advancing the Life Level to Bronze Level!

The mysterious person squinted his eyes, entertaining the idea of finishing him off with a single strike.

But in the next mont, he dismissed the thought.

He had more important tasks to accomplish.

Killing the big guy here would likely alert others, jeopardizing his entire operation.

“Even if I kill him, the Dragon Lion rcenary Corps would only lose a Bronze Level, after all.”

“Besides, they might not even be aware that this little giant is about to ascend to the Extraordinary Level.”

“The mission has just begun; no need to unnecessarily increase the risk.”

The mysterious figure spared the big guy.

If he had known about the big guy’s Bloodline Grade, he certainly would have thought differently.

But he was unaware of what he had missed.

The mysterious person once again utilized his fighting energy, slipping back out through the narrow gap in the door of the bow.

As he left, he gently closed the door completely and locked it again.

By now, another patrol team had joined the deck.

The three patrol teams of rcenaries were unaware that the enemy had already visited the bow.

For the opening and closing of the door had been too slight.

The big guy continued to snore loudly, completely oblivious to the fact that he had just narrowly escaped the grasp of death.

The mysterious person left the bow and headed directly for the ship’s stern, knowing that was where the Captain’s room was located.

The Captain’s room was empty.

The dragon-man youth had already gone to the Gold Division.

The mysterious person stood in the center of the Captain’s room, looking around, and then extended his hands, stretching his fingers as wide as possible.

From him as the center, waves of Golden Fighting Spirit ripples spread out.

Golden ripples of fighting energy swiftly expanded, sweeping over every object in the Captain’s room.

Various magic traps and small chanisms were neutralized in an instant, without a single alarm sounding.

Then, drawers and cabinets opened automatically, revealing their contents.

The mysterious person discovered nautical charts, paper, pens, rulers, and other navigation tools frequently used by the dragon-man youth.

He found the moving map.

He imdiately opened it to look.
