The older sisters were busy, too—college, careers, and big responsibilities. But even they made ti to check in and tease the trio whenever they could.

Seeing the bond between the three always made them smile. Everyone in the house knew Ethan, Evelyn, and Everly were a trio you couldn’t split up, no matter what.

They weren’t close because they had to be. They were close because they wanted to be.

Years of growing up under one roof, figuring things out together, and being there for each other through all the ups and downs—that’s what made their bond unshakable.

And slowly, as they got older, the twins started to see Ethan as more than a childhood friend.

Their feelings had shifted quietly, naturally, like leaves turning with the seasons. And now, after that kiss... there was no turning back.

Elowen leaned back slightly, one arm around each daughter as the warmth of the room settled around them.

The fireplace gave off a gentle glow, and outside the tall windows, the stars were just beginning to peek through the night sky.

"Now," she said softly, her voice carrying a playful edge, "tell what I’ve missed. And don’t you dare say ’nothing much.’ I want everything."

Evelyn and Everly exchanged a look.

"Well..." Everly grinned. "It was mostly quiet for a while. Nothing big, just the usual—school, training, a few random people showing up trying to propose to us like we’re collectibles."

"They brought flowers. One guy even brought a song," Evelyn added with a dramatic sigh. "A bad one."

"But all of that changed after the Awakening Ceremony," Everly said, and her tone shifted. "That was when everything really started."

Elowen’s smile deepened, but she didn’t say anything. She already knew her daughters had awakened their powers, and although she was absent, but that does not an she is a bad mother.

She had placed her trusted subordinates and hidden spies to handle any threats and ensure the twins’ safety.

And she receives weekly reports from both Lilith and the subordinates and hidden spies about everything so she can deal with the problem on the elven ho planet.

But hearing it from them was different.

Special.

Evelyn leaned forward. "They called first—out of the three of us. Everly, Ethan, and . A bunch of students had already gone before, so the energy in the room was kinda tense."

"She basically strutted up to the crystal," Everly teased with a grin.

"I did not strut. I walked calmly," Evelyn said, lifting her chin.

Elowen chuckled. "Go on."

"I placed my hand on the crystal and—boom." Evelyn raised her hands for effect. "The glow was intense.

The examiners started whispering, and I thought sothing had gone wrong. But then they announced it."

"S-Rank. Lunar Manipulation," Everly finished for her with a proud smile.

Elowen raised her eyebrows. "That’s a serious ability."

Evelyn nodded. "I can bend moonlight—use it to blur shapes, ss with visibility, and even lower soone’s sense of weight or balance a little if I focus.

It’s not easy, and it drains fast, but in a fight? I can make soone feel like they’re falling sideways or seeing double."

Everly chid in, "Then they called . And I’ll admit it—I was nervous. I didn’t want to be compared."

"You never have to worry about that," Elowen said gently.

"I know," Everly smiled. "But still. I walked up, put my hand on the crystal, and it flared again. Just like Evelyn’s."

"S-Rank. Solar Manipulation," Evelyn said softly.

Everly nodded. "Mine’s tied to my emotions. I can generate heat and light, shoot solar beams... and if I’m really feeling sothing—anger, joy, excitent—it all gets stronger. I can flash-blind soone or burn through a dummy if I’m not careful."

Evelyn leaned back a little. "We’re still figuring it out, but it’s a start."

"Yeah," Everly added. "The power’s there. We just need to learn how to control it properly."

Elowen looked between them with quiet pride. "Sun and Moon... how fitting."

The twins leaned into her, resting against that familiar warmth.

"We weren’t the only ones who awakened sothing good," Evelyn added. "One guy in our class nad Lucas got A-Rank—Graviton Grip. It’s strong but it is wasted on that guy."

"But that day wasn’t about him," Everly said gently. "Everyone knew it."

They didn’t dwell on it. There was no need. The air in the room stayed calm.

"And then," Everly said, her voice slowing, "Ethan started acting... different."

Elowen tilted her head. "Different, how?"

"Not in a bad way," Evelyn said quickly. "He just... looked at us differently. Like he was really seeing us."

Everly’s voice lowered. "It wasn’t just him, though. We started noticing him, too."

"There was sothing about that mont," Evelyn whispered. "The way the light hit him after he touched the crystal. He looked..."

"More handso," Everly finished, cheeks a little red. "Like he’d stepped into a different version of himself."

Elowen blinked, not understanding where this was going.

But she did not dwell on this too much as she had t Ethan multiple tis when she made ti to revisit the twins’ birthdays every year.

"But that is not as important as when Ethan touched the crystal because, unlike how it usually glows right after soone places a hand on the crystal, it didn’t for Ethan.

It dimd at first, then it exploded, and before anyone could respond, a blinding light enveloped the entire room as a throne appeared in front of him." Evelyn started.

"Yeah, and as soon as the throne appeared, the person in charge and the people who were taking care of the crystal started acting weird.

Sothing about a divine... phenonon or sothing similar; however, at that ti, Aunt Lilith appeared, and then we heard the examiner say sothing about it being an SSS-level superpower." Everly continued where her sister had left off from.

Elowen’s eyes widened slightly.

"An SSS-level power?"

Evelyn and Everly nodded at the sa ti.
