Ethan stayed quiet, the tea still warm in his hand. The air around the table felt easy now. Comfortable.

Even with everything that had led up to this, none of it felt heavy. The food, the lighting, the company—it all blended together in a way that just made sense.

Like this mont had been waiting for them all day.

Lilith leaned back in her chair, one leg crossed loosely over the other. She was watching him, but not in any urgent way, just calm and content.

Seraphina, across the table, had a similar look in her eyes—quiet, focused, but with that little spark of amusent that always ca out when she was relaxed.

There was no tension between them. No pressure in the room. Just heat from the food, soft shadows from the walls, and the kind of silence that made you want to stay still and enjoy it.

"You’re really not going to eat unless we feed you?" Lilith asked, voice low and smooth.

Ethan gave a slight shrug. "I didn’t say that."

But he didn’t move either. He just looked at the food, then back at them.

Lilith didn’t wait. She reached for a small grilled piece of seafood, her fingers moving slowly, then leaned forward across the table. She held it just in front of his lips, her expression calm but teasing.

"Then open up."

Ethan’s eyes t hers. He didn’t rush. He leaned forward and took the bite, his lips brushing her fingers just slightly before she pulled away.

She didn’t say anything.

But her smile said enough.

Seraphina watched and then reached for a slice of soft and pink fruit. She picked it up gently, dipped it in honey from one of the side dishes, and leaned in from the opposite side.

Her movents were just as slow and just as steady.

Ethan took the fruit from her hand, his mouth closing over it without a sound.

It was sweet. Cool. A nice contrast to the warmth still lingering in his chest.

Neither of them was trying too hard. It didn’t feel like they were showing off or competing. It felt natural. Like this wasn’t the first ti they’d shared him like this.

Lilith reached for sothing heavier—a strip of roasted at—tore off a small piece with her fingers, and popped it in her mouth.

Then she grabbed another and leaned toward him again. This ti, she brought it close but didn’t speak.

Just looked at him like she was expecting him to co the rest of the way.

He did.

The way she watched him as he ate—half curious, half amused—made the food taste richer and sohow more personal.

Seraphina wasn’t far behind. She reached for a piece of soft roll, tore it cleanly in half, dipped one end in a rich, creamy sauce, and held it up again. Her golden eyes stayed on his face the whole ti.

He leaned toward her hand, took the bite, and paused as her fingers lingered a second longer than needed.

The way they took turns feeding him wasn’t planned, but it felt easy. Lilith would hand him sothing rich and filling, and Seraphina would follow up with sothing cooler or sweeter.

They didn’t speak, didn’t nod to each other, or give any cues. It just flowed.

Ethan didn’t comnt. He didn’t need to.

He watched them as much as they watched him. The way Lilith’s fingers moved when she picked out food. The way Seraphina’s eyes narrowed slightly every ti he leaned toward her hand.

They weren’t just feeding him.

They were enjoying it.

So was he.

He hadn’t said anything in a while, but the look on his face said enough.

Lilith leaned on one elbow now, watching him with a lazy interest. Then, without a word, she stood up and walked around behind his chair.

Her hand brushed the back of his neck lightly, then slid down the back of the chair as she pulled it gently away from the table.

Ethan glanced up but didn’t ask.

She moved in front of him and lowered herself onto his lap, knees on either side, straddling him.

Her body settled against his naturally, like she’d done this a hundred tis before. Her hands rested on his shoulders. His hands found her waist without thinking.

She was warm. Close. Her skin is soft where it touches his.

She didn’t say anything. Just reached behind her for a piece of fruit from one of the plates, took a bite, then held the other half out to him.

"For you," she said.

He leaned in, took the rest from her fingers.

She watched him the entire ti. Eyes locked, steady, and confident.

Another bite ca next.

This ti, she didn’t use her fingers.

She took the piece herself, then leaned in until her lips t his—soft, slow, transferring the food directly.

Not a full kiss. Just enough contact to feel the heat of her breath, the curve of her lips.

He held her tighter.

Lilith kept feeding him like that. Small bites. Sotis with her fingers. Sotis with her lips. Each one is slower than the last.

She wasn’t rushing.

She was savoring it.

And so was he.

Until Seraphina stood.

She walked around the table, quiet as always, but there was a little sothing extra in the way she moved now, a subtle shift in energy, a slow burn that had been building and was finally rising to the surface.

She didn’t ask to join.

She didn’t need to.

She stood beside him, her fingers brushing his shoulder, then down his chest as she leaned in close.

"You two look like you’re enjoying yourselves," she said.

Lilith smiled, still on his lap. "We are."

Seraphina hadn’t sat down yet. She leaned over and picked up sothing from the table—a slice of roasted fruit, dark and sticky with glaze. She held it near his mouth, just off to the side.

Ethan turned his head, opened his mouth, and took it from her fingers.

This ti, her fingers stayed just a little too long, brushing against his lips before they finally pulled away.

She watched him chew, then leaned in again. Not touching this ti. Just close enough for her breath to graze his neck.

"Think you can handle both of us?" she whispered, her tone teasing but low.
