"Is this one okay?"

"No."

"What about this one?"

"No." The answer remained concise.

"Then this one must be fine, right?"

Trazyn still shook his head.

This wouldn’t do, that wouldn’t do. Zeke knew things weren’t progressing smoothly.

For those unique exhibits, it was impossible for Trazyn to use them as bargaining chips.

"What about that teleportation technology you used to bring here just now?" Zeke switched targets.

"You an the Veil of Darkness technology?"

Necrons didn’t travel through the Warp like other races in the galaxy. They used a much older and more obscure technology.

A teleportation device known as the Veil of Darkness, its principles currently unknown.

"I must state beforehand," Trazyn raised a tal finger, "this teleportation technology cannot be used for large-scale transport."

Trazyn warned.

Beside him, a multi-jointed android held a tray, serving Zeke an unknown beverage.

"Sannet, Solemnace’s Chief Curator and Chief Technomancer, responsible for the maintenance and restoration of the gallery’s collection."

After Zeke took the drink, Sannet returned to the gallery to continue his patrol.

Zeke took a sip of the liquid in the cup. It tasted like so kind of tea.

[What a unique flavor. You have eaten 5 different types of food. Max Health 1]

Zeke’s Max Health reached 24.

Can’t do large-scale teleportation? That’s even worse than my Nether Portal’s.

After listening to Trazyn’s explanation, Zeke abandoned this option.

The Nether Express was sufficient as a ans of transport between star systems.

But for longer distances, extending to the scale between galaxies, it wasn’t enough.

Zeke wanted to find a once-and-for-all solution.

"If it’s teleportation..." Trazyn saw through Zeke’s needs.

He turned, tapping his staff on the ground, and walked forward with a halting gait. "I believe this will be very much to your liking."

He led the way, and Zeke followed closely behind.

Passing through several halls, they stopped in front of a slightly broken gate.

According to its displayed na, this was a Webway Gate.

The Webway was a high-dinsional network opened up by the Old Ones, capable of isolating the Warp to a certain extent and safely transporting travelers to various parts of the galaxy.

Zeke decided instantly. This was the one.

The Old Ones were long extinct, and most of the existing Webways were guarded by the Eldar. It was a diminishing asset.

Observing the Webway Gate his system displayed:

[Webway Gate]

[Mining Requirent: Netherite [Silk Touch]]

Zeke took out his spare Netherite Pickaxe and Lapis Lazuli, starting his enchanting attempts on the spot.

After a few tries, a fresh Netherite Pickaxe with [Silk Touch] was ready.

"You’re really giving it to just like that?" Zeke held the pickaxe, looking suspiciously at Trazyn, trying to find so reluctance on that skeletal face.

Trazyn simply nodded calmly, his emotions unreadable.

The calr he was, the more panicked Zeke felt. This old thing definitely prepared a trap sowhere.

"Then it’s decided." Zeke handed over an Eye of Ender.

Trazyn took the eye and handed it to Sannet.

"Sannet, take this eye down for research. And open the display case for the Webway Gate."

The massive gate was now completely presented before Zeke. Zeke raised his pickaxe to mine, then thought for a mont and put it down.

The value of the Webway Gate lay in the tunnel behind it. These Webways were densely distributed like a spider web, allowing users to travel to places connected by the Webway.

Mining the Webway Gate itself seed useless.

You could compare it to a Nether Portal. What Zeke wanted were the purple swirls inside the portal, not the obsidian fra.

However, System indicated that the pickaxe in his hand could mine it. After deliberating again and again, Zeke chose to trust his system.

The pickaxe head contacted the gate, making a dull clang clang clang sound.

When the progress reached 100%, the entire gate turned into a drop item and fell into Zeke’s hand.

Unexpectedly, there were two drop items. One was the portal itself in the shape of a gate.

[Webway Gate (Damaged)]

The other was a cylindrical tunnel model shimring with starlight.

[Webway Fragnt, 100%]

Silk Touch had mined the Webway behind the portal along with it.

Is... is this even mineable?

Holding the Webway Fragnt in his hand, text popped up in Zeke’s chat box.

[Mod: Imrsive Portals, Unlocked]

[You can now connect two Nether Portals to each other using Webway Fragnts]

Imrsive Portals. Zeke had a deep impression of this mod.

This mod was a famous hardware killer. Its functions were truly powerful, but the fra rate drop was also real.

After activation, it lagged every three steps and crashed every two steps. Combined with shaders, the computer would straight up smoke.

But in the Warhamr world, there were no fra rate limits. This mod had nothing but benefits left.

With this mod, he could connect all star systems together. Distance would no longer be a difficult issue for the entire Imperium of Man.

Zeke looked at the damaged Webway Gate.

It seed that since he broke it while mining, this gate was useless now, at most a decoration. The important thing was the Webway Fragnt.

"Once the transaction is complete, no refunds or exchanges." Trazyn watched Zeke staring blankly at the cylinder in his hand and offered a tily reminder.

"There is one thing I forgot to tell you."

"This Webway Gate was sothing I ’borrowed’ from a group of Eldar a long ti ago." Trazyn recalled.

"We didn’t part on good terms back then. There was a little friction, and the gate was involved, so it developed a tiny malfunction."

Zeke’s face was starting to darken.

So the ’Damaged’ status on the Webway Gate isn’t my pickaxe’s fault, it’s your fault.

"It’s not a big problem," Trazyn’s tone was so relaxed it made one want to punch him.

"Why didn’t you say so earlier?"

"You didn’t ask earlier, either." Trazyn was very happy to see this human suffer a setback.

Hmph, good thing I don’t need that gate. Zeke stuffed the Webway Fragnt into his pocket and walked towards the green portal he ca from.

Zeke stepped in. Before leaving, he raised his head and flashed a brilliant smile at Trazyn.

"By the way, Trazyn, I suddenly rembered there’s sothing I forgot to tell you too."

Watching the familiar scene before him...

"This Eye of Ender," Zeke mimicked Trazyn’s tone just now, "has a usage limit. It will shatter directly on the spot after being thrown about 5 tis. So, use it sparingly. It’s best to be precise when calculating the location. Don’t waste it."

Trazyn’s body stiffened for a second. "Why. Didn’t. You. Say. So. Earlier?"

"You didn’t ask either." Zeke retorted with the exact sa sentence.

"Anyway, the next Eye of Ender will also cost you."

Zeke disappeared into the portal. He wouldn’t give Trazyn many Eyes of Ender at once, preventing Trazyn from finding the End Portal and going there himself.
