Chapter 230: Chapter 230 Are You Free Lately?
“Can I help you with anything?” Xie Yanchuan didn’t know how to make desserts, but he couldn’t possibly let Xu Jinzhi busily work alone in the kitchen.
Xu Jinzhi wasn’t trying to rush Xie Yanchuan out either; it was just that she too was only half-learned, having viewed the tutorial over and over again but still feeling a bit clueless on how to proceed.

Later, when Xie Yanchuan was preparing dinner, Xu Jinzhi really couldn’t help much and only did so prep work like Tuantuan.
Midway through, Sui Sui woke up crying, wanting to feed with her mother, and that was when Xu Jinzhi left the kitchen.
By the ti it was dinner, everything was quite ordinary, no different from their usual dinners after Xu Jinzhi returned from work.
But today was indeed different.

“Thank you, Tuantuan.” Xie Yanchuan smiled.
“And , too!” Xu Jinzhi, not wanting to be left out, quickly said, “Xie Yanchuan, happy birthday!”
Xie Yanchuan then looked towards Xu Jinzhi, his eyes also smiling, but the emotion in his eyes was even deeper when looking at her.
“Thank you,” Xie Yanchuan replied.
“And Sui Sui too, considering she can’t speak yet, let wish on her behalf, happy birthday to Sui Sui’s Dad!”
Indulgent love filled Xie Yanchuan’s eyes, “Then please tell Sui Sui that her wishes are received, thank you, Sui Sui.”
After they finished dinner, the maid cleaned up the dining table and brought up the cake.
Xu Jinzhi lit the candles and, holding Tuantuan’s hand, they sang the birthday song together while Xie Yanchuan cooperatively made a wish.
Later, Xu Jinzhi asked Xie Yanchuan, “What wish did you make?”
Tuantuan quickly said, “You can’t say it, if you say it, it won’t co true!”
Tuantuan, almost four years old now, had also made a wish during his birthday.
Xie Yanchuan nodded earnestly, “Yes, you can’t speak it out.”
Xu Jinzhi, speechless, finally decided to end the topic and began to eat the birthday cake.

Xie Yanchuan’s birthday passed, and everything seed to return to normal.

Holding Sui Sui, Xie Yanchuan softly replied, “The last experint just ended, and I won’t have new research in my hands for a while, so I’ll be free for so ti.”

Xie Linchuan couldn’t retort since Xie Suian was stating a fact, but he still defiantly said, “Even so, that doesn’t an this issue is Shiyu’s fault.”
Liang Shiyu, head bowed, her emotions already complicated, knew she had caused trouble again.
She had just started to recover a bit of her feel, and now might be forced back again.
However, she had not expected Xie Linchuan to defend her like this, insistent that despite the gossip affecting the company, this wasn’t her fault.
Liang Shiyu’s nose tingled, and tears welled up in her eyes, struggling to hold back, wanting to rush up and embrace Xie Linchuan.
But the setting wasn’t right, and she couldn’t do that.
