As Theodore was about to leave to start his day, he was startled by the sound of a notice from the direction of the barracks saying that no one should go out of their houses today. They also said to turn on the radio because there was information to be shared.
Since Theodore didn’t have a radio in his house, he went out anyway and knocked on the door of the apartnt opposite.
Geoffrey opened the door and imdiately invited Theodore to enter his apartnt. He and Roxanne had already set up the radio inside, and they were surprised to hear an announcent coming from the direction of the barracks.
"Did this happen because of the attack last night?" After bringing Theodore to sit on the sofa in his apartnt, Geoffrey imdiately asked Theodore what he thought.
"I don’t think so. There must have been so kind of ergency that made the military order us to stay ho," Theodore explained, thinking it was not because of yesterday’s battle at the north gate.
Roxanne, who listened to Theodore’s explanation, also silently agreed with his opinion; if it wasn’t an ergency, there was no way the military would keep them at ho.
"Everyone be quiet. The broadcast has started." Roxanne told them both to be quiet because the radio in front of them had started.
Not denying Roxanne’s words, Theodore and Geoffrey imdiately shut up and quietly listened to what the governnt wanted to tell them. But, this ti, it wasn’t the central governnt; it was just a notification from their city governnt.
"We hope all the refugees in City A base can listen to this broadcast. We must remind you all to use the water filter beforehand. We hope you have already done so."
"Information from another city base indicates that this important protocol was missed, as there has been a zombie outbreak in one of the bases due to this issue. We hope you can stay ho today to conduct an inspection."
After that, the broadcast was just an appeal to the refugees in City A base, and it was; it was not too important to listen to.
Theodore didn’t find it strange to listen to the governnt’s appeal because the water filter issue was hazardous, given that their waters were already polluted with the virus.
One of the reasons for the downfall of bases in other cities was also this, so they really had to pay special attention to this so that their bases could remain safe. However, this was not the only problem in the base, and this ti, it was a matter of concern.
"It’s a good thing we followed the protocol. Otherwise, we’d be in trouble," Roxanne said quite fearfully as she imagined what would happen if she turned into a zombie just because of a drink intoxication.
"It looks like there’s a big problem at the other base. I think I’ll go straight ho to rest." Theodore got up and intended to return to his apartnt.
"You must be tired after what happened yesterday," Roxanne replied, understanding that Theodore wanted to rest at ho.
After all, they didn’t have to work today, so they could rest at ho. After so small talk with Geoffrey, Theodore returned to his apartnt. Theodore didn’t intend to rest; he chose to enter the sacred dinsion.
Once inside the sacred dinsion, Theodore went to his farm and started caring for the vegetables he had planted earlier.
Theodore has found a comfortable routine for him when he is in the sacred dinsion. It will be easier for Theodore to take care of the sacred dinsion if he has a routine that he can do.
After finishing cultivating his field and also doing ditation, Theodore chose to leave his sacred dinsion. He wanted to have breakfast at ho and enjoy the remaining at dumplings he still had.
Theodore had already imagined the delicious food he would prepare for breakfast this morning. Unfortunately, when he left the sacred dinsion, he heard a knock on his door.
"Huh? Who else is here?" Theodore frowned in confusion when he heard the knocking on his apartnt door.
Hearing the knocking sound getting louder, Theodore hurried to open the door. He didn’t want whoever ca to break his apartnt door because he didn’t co.
The frown on Theodore’s forehead deepened when he saw Roderick and two other soldiers at the door of his apartnt. Theodore felt terrible when he saw that his guests were military n.
"Why did you co here?" Theodore imdiately asked the reason for Roderick’s visit to his apartnt.
"The captain called you." Roderick didn’t mince words; he imdiately explained his purpose for coming there.
"What else is there?" Theodore honestly didn’t want to go to see Victor today.
"I don’t know, it’s just that you have to co with us now," Roderick replied with a flat face.
If this was the case, Theodore would have no choice but to go with Roderick to the barracks, even though he had imagined eating his delicious breakfast after coming out of the sacred dinsion.
But, that damn Victor had ruined Theodore’s plans. With that, Theodore left his apartnt and joined Roderick to go to the barracks.
It didn’t take long for Theodore to get to the barracks because Roderick ca in a military car, so they didn’t have to walk.
As soon as they arrived at the barracks, Theodore was taken straight to Victor’s room. Unlike before, there was no one else in the room; only Victor and Roderick ca in.
"What did you call for, Captain?" Theodore, who was not happy to be disturbed during his day of rest, imdiately asked Victor a question.
"I need you to join one of my teams to go off base," Victor replied calmly.
"Didn’t you say earlier that there won’t be any missions outside the base shortly?" Theodore wanted to scold Victor about this, but he restrained himself.
"Things didn’t go how we wanted," Victor replied with a nonchalant shrug.
"Indeed, what should I do this ti?" Theodore did not see Victor retracting his words, so he could only figure out what to do this ti.
"The construction of our wall is the priority right now, and we’re running low on materials for the power users to coat the wall. So we need you and the others to go out to find supplies of iron and other tals," Victor explained what Theodore had to do this ti.
Theodore rolled his eyes lazily. He didn’t expect to be told to find supplies for the base.
"I’m sure you won’t allow to refuse this task. So when should I leave?" Theodore had already accepted his fate.
"Of course, it’s now. You’ll be leaving with Roderick so you can follow him." Victor waved his hand, sending Theodore and Roderick out of his room.
Theodore lazily left the room and followed Roderick, who would be his partner again. This ti, it looked like they were going to go with a car that could hold a lot of goods, considering their purpose this ti was to get supplies for the base.
