So of the officials there began to look interested in the information that Theodore said. anwhile, Victor himself already knew about this because the soldiers guarding the entrance gate had already provided information about this.
Theodore grinned as he glanced at the officials around him; they were clueless about matters like this, so he didn’t intend to give them more information.
"You seem to be interested in my offer. Then this is the only information I can tell you all," Theodore replied as he bowed his head in respect to the officials there.
"Since I have no further business here, I will leave," Theodore continued, leaving the room.
It’s just that when Theodore had just walked from his place, and he was intercepted by the soldiers sent by the higher-ups, he had expected that it would be like this, but his other friends looked surprised by what happened.
Then, soon, there was Victor’s voice preventing Theodore from leaving the place; it seed that he was quite tense at the mont.
"You still have to report what happened on this trip to ," Victor said trying to prevent Theodore from leaving, he would get into trouble from the higher-ups if they couldn’t get Theodore to talk.
"I don’t think I need to report anything to you, considering you already heard what happened from Madeline. And if you just want a report, you can ask Cassian and the others," Theodore replied with a cold voice and sharp eyes.
Victor could not say anything because Theodore did not need to report to him, and he already knew what happened to Madeline. It was just that these officials would not be happy with what Theodore was doing at this ti.
Not wanting to get into trouble with the higher-ups, Victor finally stepped closer to Theodore. When he was near Theodore, Victor grabbed his shoulders with a bit of his strength.
In a small voice, Victor spoke to Theodore, "If you still want to live quietly in this case, I hope you do what they want. I’m saying this because I don’t want to be in trouble either."
"I won’t get you in trouble; just let them do whatever they want to do." Theodore was still stubborn and had no intention of giving in to whatever the higher-ups wanted.
"Gosh, you are indeed very stubborn. This is just my advice, if you don’t like it you can do whatever you want. Just don’t involve with your problem," Victor replied, then too lazy to persuade Theodore further.
"Then, forgive for doing this. It’s also to help you," Theodore replied with a grin.
Theodore then raised his hand and pushed Victor with his strength, which made Victor fly backward until he hit the wall far behind him.
The sight also made everyone in the room silent and stunned; they did not expect Theodore to be able to hurt soone like Victor, who was already famous for his very strong strength.
After that, Theodore turned around and walked casually to leave the place; he was tired of dealing with these people.
"Don’t let that bastard out of this place!"
There was a stern middle-aged man’s voice in the distance, Theodore could tell that they weren’t going to let him leave this place easily.
No problem with that Theodore summoned his sword from within the sacred dinsion and instantly there was already a row of special forces blocking in front of the exit.
"I really don’t want to do this, but you guys are forcing to do this." Theodore sighed lazily as he saw what these officials were doing.
Not wanting to waste too much ti here, Theodore imdiately activated his skill barrage. To protect him, Theodore activated his Area Of Protection skill.
That was not enough. Theodore had to move quickly to get past the special soldiers; he also activated his Sprint skill.
After making sure that his skill was active, Theodore started running while holding his black sword. When he was near the ranks of the special forces, Theodore activated his Wind Slash skill to knock the soldiers out of his way.
Just that alone made the soldiers disappear from Theodore’s path, there were only a few soldiers who still remained in place. Theodore thought that they were the ones with power.
"It turns out there are still strong people in the military," Theodore said with a grin.
However, Theodore’s movent speed was already difficult enough for them to keep up. Theodore utilized his advantage to approach the remaining soldiers and launched an attack with his Slash skill that had a short cooldown.
Theodore did not intend to kill the soldiers so he did not release his finishing skill that could have killed the soldiers. Besides, when Theodore saw that there were no soldiers blocking his way, he imdiately ran towards the big door.
"You think you can leave this place even if you take out those soldiers? It’s not that easy, Kiddo!"
"Looks like you guys are still underestimating my strength, huh?" Theodore turned to the ranks of the higher-ups and grinned coldly at them.
Theodore then activated all of his skills that had finished cooldown and put all of his strength into kicking the large and tall door. A split second later, the door creaked open slowly.
Before waltzing away from the place, Theodore looked back at the officials and grinned at them, mocking those who had underestimated his strength.
After that, Theodore ran away from that place because there was nothing else that could prevent him from leaving.
Fortunately, the higher-ups were still self-aware enough not to pursue Theodore any further. Theodore quickly left the main headquarters of their base and walked towards where his apartnt was.
Because he was already quite far from the main base, Theodore reduced the tempo of his steps to a slower pace, and finally, he was able to walk at his usual average pace.
"They almost got ," Theodore muttered with a sigh of relief at this point.
[Would it be alright if the Host escaped from them like this?]
"If I don’t escape they’ll find out about your existence in this world, you idiot!" Theodore imdiately refuted System’s words, they had to escape from those bastard higher-ups.
[System agreed with what the Host said. Only, they were going to do sothing to the Host after what happened today]
"Whatever, I’m too lazy to deal with those old farts! I’ll just kill them if they go too far," Theodore replied later wearily.
Theodore stepped into his apartnt building with sluggish steps. He was tired and wanted to rest quickly on his soft bed.
