Madeline seed satisfied with the upstairs building. At least they could rest freely there. Moreover, Madeline had also previously confird that there were no zombies on that floor.

"Should we make a barrier with the tables here?" Theodore considered making so barriers with the tables there so that other people or zombies could not see them from outside.

"To be on the safe side, at least the glass is thick enough so that people outside won’t be able to see us inside that easily," one of Madeline’s n told Theodore.

"Just in case, it’s fine for us to do it." Madeline nodded her head and agreed with Theodore’s plan.

With that, they followed the tables and sofas that were there to block their presence from the glass windows in this building. Although Theodore knew the glass window would not reflect their presence, he felt unsafe.

Fortunately, they took them only a short ti up the barrier. After that, they rested first because they were tired after slaughtering the zombies in the basent.

"Where’s our food?" Madeline imdiately turned to one of her n, who was storing food for their group.

"Our food is gone, boss!"

"Huh?" Madeline looked confused when she heard her subordinate’s words. There was no way they had run out of food.

Madeline beca busy with her subordinates. anwhile, Theodore and the others were resting quietly, although it was actually only Theodore and Cassian who needed to rest because Chelsea and Neville were in the car.

Theodore, who had a lot of savings, imdiately took out his stock for his friends. Theodore also gave Cassian a heavy al; when he offered Chelsea and Neville, they only wanted snacks because they were still full.

"I still have quite a few sandwiches, I’m sure you’re very tired after that fight," Theodore said as he handed Cassian a packet of sandwiches.

"Thanks, to be honest my energy was drained because of that damn zombie," Cassian replied, accepting the sandwich Theodore gave him.

"Naturally, I’m also feeling exhausted right now," Theodore replied, sighing tiredly.

Theodore then turned to Chelsea and Neville, who were close to him. "Do you also want a sandwich?" Theodore said while moving to get sandwiches for the two of them.

"I’m still full, sis. But, if anything I want the cherry tomatoes you gave earlier," Neville said with a grin.

"Neville’s right, I’m still full too," Chelsea said in response to Neville’s words.

"Okay, if that’s what you want." Theodore then removed a large bowl of cherry tomatoes from his previous harvest.

Although his cherry tomato stock was depleted now, Theodore could still grow more. Even now, he was planting them in his field, so Theodore was okay with running out of cherry tomatoes.

After giving Chelsea and Neville the bowl of cherry tomatoes, they ate their al in peace. While they were eating quietly, Theodore heard the sound of crunching footsteps.

And Theodore could see that Madeline and her n were walking toward them. Theodore was confused about why they were suddenly coming towards them like that.

"Do you need anything?" Theodore imdiately asked Madeline when he saw that the look on Madeline’s face was not very good.

Before answering Theodore’s words, Madeline took a breath and exhaled slowly.

"I’m sorry if this troubles you. But could you share so of your food supplies with us? I didn’t know our food supply had run out," Madeline explained with a dark look.

"Ahh, that’s the problem. No problem. Sit down. I still have so food stock," Theodore said, nodding and asking them to sit near their group.

Theodore realized that Madeline had lowered her ego and asked him for help like this. So Theodore would not mock Madeline further and gave them so of the food he had stored.

Madeline breathed a sigh of relief when Theodore didn’t say anything offensive to her when she asked for his help. With that, they sat there while waiting for Theodore to feed them.

Since Theodore had previously prepared many sandwiches for his provisions on this trip, he didn’t need to bother. He. He just took out four packs of sandwiches and gave them to Madeline so that she could distribute them to her n.

"Thank you. Looks like you made a lot of sandwiches," Madeline said as she received four packs of sandwiches from Theodore.

"Well, I only have that, so I hope you don’t mind," Theodore replied with a faint smile. He imdiately said so because he didn’t want Madeline to be suspicious of him.

"No problem. I’m very grateful that you’re willing to help us," Madeline replied, not saying anything more after that.

Theodore finally took out a few more bowls of cherry tomatoes and placed them in the center so anyone could eat them. That way, they ate in peace.

It was during that quiet mont that sothing surprising began to happen. Neville, who had been quietly snacking on cherry tomatoes, suddenly had a tightened look on his face. At first, no one noticed it. After Neville put down his cherry tomato bowl, Chelsea turned to him.

And Chelsea imdiately realized sothing was wrong when she saw Neville’s pale face.

"What’s wrong, Neville?" Chelsea imdiately asked about Neville’s condition after she realized there was sothing strange about him.

"It looks like sothing terrible is coming. I don’t know what it is, but I hear the sound of zombie footsteps from all over the city." Neville explained with a pale face.

"As many as what?" Madeline still didn’t pay much attention to Neville’s words, thinking that the number of zombies Neville said would not be that many.

But before Neville could answer, the others began to feel the floor beneath them shaking. Theodore, who thought it, frowned and started glancing behind him to see what was happening.

Because a highway connected all directions in front of the bank, Theodore could see from the front that a horde of zombies was running in no particular direction. They seed to be chasing any human they saw.

Not only that, but those who were there could also hear the sound of cars from various directions, intent on avoiding the sea of zombies that suddenly beca very large.

Realizing sothing was wrong, Theodore imdiately ordered the others to hide in the barricade they made from tables and chairs.

"Everyone hides. There are a lot of zombies trying to co here!" Theodore imdiately lowered his head and slowly lay down on the floor. From the gap in the barricade, he monitored what was happening outside.

Hearing that, the others imdiately fell and hid behind the barricades they had made. Soon, they saw several cars passing in front of the bank they were occupying.

Seen behind the car was a large horde of zombies chasing them. The scary thing was not that; another fact that was more scary was that the chasing zombies were now running at full power. It would not take long for the zombies to overtake the speed of the car.

Everyone who saw it imdiately got goosebumps; they couldn’t imagine they were still out there.
