"And that," Solus said, her tone somber, "is why we need to tread carefully. This knowledge could change everything—or get you killed."
Lith's excitent dimd at her words. He nodded silently, his mind swirling with thoughts, but then a mory struck him. He recalled the last day of the Duel and the boy nad Little prodigy.
"Wait! What about him? The one they called Little prodigy?" Lith asked, his voice laced with urgency.
Solus fell silent for a mont, considering her response. "It's either he discovered it like you and really is a prodigy for a reason. Or…" She hesitated before continuing, "...it's sothing all nobles possess."
"And if its forr then its okay," Lith muttered. "But if it's later… then…" He trailed off, but he didn't need Solus to complete the thought. He understood the implications.
"He's coming to et today," Lith said, clenching his fists. "All will be clear by the end of today."
"You aren't thinking of killing him, are you?" Solus asked casually, though her tone carried an edge of concern. mories of Count Lark's words about Michael being powerful surfaced in her mind.
"Alone, no," Lith replied. "But with the help of others in the Trawn woods, I might be able to." He paused, his tone shifting. "I've connections with the magical beasts that live here. Now, it's ti to call on that friendship."
"But we don't even know if it's true or not," Solus reminded him, her voice cautious.
"That's why I'll act as a signal," Lith explained. "If I sense danger, they'll step in to help. If not, they'll remain hidden."
Solus nodded, though concern lingered in her tone. "Fine. lets reach out to the magical beasts and let them know your plan."
Lith took a deep breath, his resolve firm. "Good. Let's settle this once and for all."
Michael, on the other hand, had also arrived in Lutia.
"What are we doing here?" Amanda asked, confused. She had no knowledge of Lith or that Michael was here to et him.
"Just ca here to et a friend," Michael said, his voice calm as he turned towards Lith's ho, asking the villagers, leading the way.
"I thought we were going sowhere else--Noble house, not this.....small house" Amanda said, looking at the small house.
Michael shook his head. "I never said that," he replied, then knocked on the door.
After a mont, the door was opened by a beautiful lady, Elina, Lith's mother.
"You are Michael, right?" she asked, recognizing him.
"Hello, Auntie," Michael greeted, bowing to her.
"Hello," Elina said, feeling a bit surprised. A noble kid was bowing to her.
"You don't have to do that," she said, smiling. Michael nodded in acknowledgnt.
"Is Lith ho?" he asked.
"Yes, he is here," Elina replied, calling out to him. Monts later, Lith appeared from another room, freezing when he saw Michael.
He hastily approached, offering a greeting. "Hello."
"Hello," Michael replied, noticing sothing about Lith's deanor.
"This is Amanda, my bodyguard," Lith introduced, gesturing to the woman standing behind him. Elina nodded politely at Amanda.
"Let's practice magic," Michael said, not wasting any ti as he motioned for Lith to follow him.
"Sorry, Young Master only has magic on his mind," Amanda said, looking at Elena with a mix of concern and confusion.
"It's okay," Elena said softly, though she seed worried. "I'll begin looking after them." Amanda nodded, and Elena stood there, quietly watching as Lith followed Michael.
After reaching the middle of the Trawn Woods, Michael released Lith. Lith glanced at Michael, readying his signal. The magic he had shared with other beasts earlier resonated, and in the woods, five beasts were ready to rush toward the location if the signal were to co.
"We will discuss magic later, but there's sothing more important I need to ask you first," Michael said, sitting on a large rock and gesturing for Lith to sit on another one.
Lith nodded, though he was also ready to act at any mont if Michael were to show hostility. Both he and Solus were on alert, ready to react at any mont.
"So, what legacy you gained?" Michael asked, as he looked at him.
"Huh?" Lith responded, confused by the question.
Michael let out a small chuckle before answering, "Hmm, let explain."
"When I was three, I went to an old Duke's house with my father. That old man was a family friend, and we visited there often, one day, as my father and that old man were talking, I got bored and decided to check out his bookshelf."
"And on that bookshelf, I accidentally found a hidden book on Magus magic. From it, I learned about True Magic, a magic unlike anything I had known before. Normally, magic is done through hand signs, but with that book, I learned sothing more. It was through that book that I transford myself—from a fake mage into a true mage."
"That legacy led to a path where I didn't think I will find others like myself, That's why I was surprised when I discovered you, a True mage like , I felt I was no longer alone in this world, I was no longer special, there is soone like , who could discover the wonders of True magic with " Michael kept saying excitedly as Lith listened intently.
Solus, hearing this sighed in relief as she said ntally ' false Alarm, he is indeed a Prodigy not sothing of Noble's secret'.
'Yeah, he's like ,' Lith said, shaking his head. 'But still I am not going to reveal you to him.'
"So, what legacy do you have?" Michael asked, pointing at the stone ring on Lith's finger. "Is that the legacy you found?"
Lith was stunned for a mont, then nodded. "Yes, but it's broken too. I only know a few things, like how to cast True Magic and such. Can you tell about the difference between True Mages and fake mages? And why hasn't anyone else discovered it, or why others haven't shared it?"
Lith had wanted the answer to these questions for a long ti. Solus was a part of his legacy, but she had no mories of herself. She didn't even know her na. All she knew was that she had once been part of a powerful magic tower, but that tower had crumbled. Now, only the small ring remained. There wasn't even a tower anymore, but she was regaining her form, slowly rebuilding herself.
