"It’s ."

Su Pan’er quickly responded, slowly erging from the shadows.

Her current position was quite shrewd, allowing the other party to clearly see her plump face in the firelight, and yet also allowing her to retreat into a crevice in the stone wall at the blink of an eye if the other party wanted to make a move.

The stranger also took two steps forward, slowly revealing himself in the light of the fire. As he moved forward, a chilling wind swept through the cave!

Dreadfully cold, piercing straight to the heart!

The stranger, clad in black, had a handso face so dark it seed to be covered in thousand-year-old frost. His deep and silent eyes seed more unfathomable than the darkness behind him!

On his back was a little boy around five or six, obediently clinging to him, looking at her with a pair of black grape-like eyes.

Seeing her look back at him, he blinked and gave her a slight smile.

"What is a woman doing here alone?"

The stranger’s tone had relaxed sowhat, but his vigilant deanor and intense killing intent remained undiminished.

Su Pan’er, accustod to skating the edge of danger, was particularly sensitive to murderous intent, causing her hairs to stand on end.

This strong scent of blood...

It was human blood!

How much human blood was needed to emit such a strong stench of blood?

"My ho is at the foot of the mountain; I ca here this morning to gather herbs and lost track of ti. By the ti I realized it was getting dark, it was too late. So I found this cave to take shelter," Su Pan’er explained timidly, pointing at the basket backpack placed on one side.

With a sweep of his cold eyes, the stranger examined the backpack and then returned his gaze with killing intent to Su Pan’er.

"Are you really here to gather herbs?"

Su Pan’er nodded: "Yes, I am! But people here in the mountains, my family has been setting traps and hunting since our ancestors’ ti. Look, I indeed collected quite a bit." She said with a naive smile, pointing to so Wild Ga nearby.

These were all things that could not be hidden even if she wanted to.

"Sir, are you injured? Although my dical skills are shallow, I can still do simple things like dressing wounds."

Since she claid to have co to the mountains to gather herbs and demonstrated a level of dical knowledge, it was not surprising.

The plump body and naive face of her original body helped in her act, and the stranger seed to believe her, taking a few more steps towards the fire.

"No need."

The stranger firmly refused, then quickly surveyed the entrance to the cave and turned to her: "Do you have any dry food?"

Dry food?

Even if she had any left, she certainly would not give it up at this mont.

"No. If you’re hungry, I can roast so jerky. There is ready rabbit at here, it will be ready soon."

Su Pan’er pointed to the already skinned rabbit on the ground without moving her feet.

This man was extrely alert!

She had no intention of becoming a victim in his hands!

If it were her at her peak, she would not think much of him and could easily annihilate him. But with her current plump body... It might not pose a problem against ordinary people, but dealing with people like this man, who clearly lived on the edge of death, she had no absolute certainty.

Since she did not have total certainty, she naturally would not rashly make a move!

"Roast jerky? That’s fine, hurry up! I won’t skimp on silver."

He seed a bit anxious, unconsciously looking back at the entrance to the cave again.

"Alright, wait a mont."

Without refusing, Su Pan’er quickly went to work.

Grabbing the rabbit that had been skinned and had one leg eaten off, her chubby fingers moved skillfully, quickly skewering the rabbit at onto a stick and setting it over the fire to roast.

From beginning to end, the stranger watched every move of Su Pan’er with a vigilant face, not taking his eyes off her for a second.

The little boy on his back too, was staring at her with wide eyes.

The gurgling sound from the stomach was heard

With the sll of spices wafting, the little pig hiding in one corner suddenly ca out, shaking its head and wagging its tail at Su Pan’er. It was also squealing with excitent!

The mont the Bama pig appeared, the man’s pupils shrank suddenly, and the cold bloodlust that had been calm started to fill the cave rapidly!

Su Pan’er’s body went stiff!

She firmly held onto the pole, flipping the roasting at with her slight Inner Strength flowing into her arms, ready to retaliate if he made a move...

"Bama pig?"

Perhaps realizing the sudden appearance of the pig, a trace of surprise flashed in his eyes.

The sudden Killing Intent quickly dissipated.

Su Pan’er’s eyes flashed, and her chubby face had the usual simplicity, "What pig? Are you talking about this pig? It’s my pet from childhood. Little pig, co here!"

She smiled with squinting gleaming eyes, beckoning the little pig.

Su Pan’er easily recognized the Bama pig, but she knew! In ancient tis, Bama pigs were exclusively supplied to the Imperial Family; the public was not allowed to kill them arbitrarily.

The fact that he spoke out implies that his identity is not ordinary!

The Bama pig squealed and rooted into Su Pan’er’s arms at once.

"Fat woman, this guy is scary. His mind is filled with murder plans, even thought about eating ..."

Serves you right!

Su Pan’er hugged the Bama pig in her arms and continued to flip the rabbit at.

"Fifth Uncle, the food slls wonderful!"

A soft voice, accompanied by a gulp, rose quietly.

This made Su Pan’er unintentionally look towards the person’s back.

"Fei’er, hungry? Uncle will put you down."

His voice beca unusually gentle, with a touch of deep tenderness, as he undid the strap around his waist.

With this developnt, Su Pan’er got goosebumps!

It’s hard to believe that such a man with a murderous aura could produce such a soft voice, it’s a complete disaster!

The little boy, though placed on the ground, seed fearless and walked towards Su Pan’er. Sitting next to her, he greeted her with a smile.

An innocent, radiant smile, like a ray of Sunshine after a storm!

"Sister, the at slls so good! Fei’er is hungry..."

The man’s eyes showed a trace of worry and guilt as he looked at the child, but when he turned around, his guard towards Su Pan’er was even stronger!

"Hungry? It is almost ready, don’t be impatient."

Su Pan’er casually glanced at him, unable to stop quickening her hand movents: "Your na is Fei’er?"

"Yes! Fei’er is five years old, Sister."

"Really? Fei’er is so amazing!"

Su Pan’er praised casually, she handed one skewer to Fei’er while taking another bite of skewer herself.

"Be careful, don’t get burned."

"Thank you, sister."

Fei’er squinted with a smile.

Before Fei’er could put the at skewer in his mouth, a hand sprang out from a diagonal direction, grabbed it and took a bite, chewed casually for a mont, and swallowed.

Fei’er seed not surprised by the man`s move but smiled at Su Pan’er instead.

Such a strong vigilance! Who are these two people?

A touch of surprise flashed through Su Pan’er’s eyes!

She casually threw a couple of leftover skewers to the squealing Bama pig, finished the skewer in her hand in a few bites, and carelessly waved the remaining skewers. "Since you are so worried about poisoning, you two could roast it yourself!"

Frankly speaking, I’m not serving you anymore!
