Su Pan’er felt such hatred!

Back in her previous life, she lived quite comfortably, and even though everything might not have gone as planned, life was still full of flavor and zest.

Unexpectedly, she ended up here, suffering untold hardships and nurous brushes with death, teetering on the brink of kicking the bucket and chatting with Yanwang himself over drinks and rrint.

But it was only now that she realized all of this—all of it—was due to the shenanigans of this Old Taoist Niubizi!

She held back as much as she could, but finally couldn’t contain herself any longer, rushing forward to throw a punch right into what looked like a skull-like old face!

With the first punch landed, Su Pan’er’s second and third punches imdiately followed, every strike hitting its mark.

"Damn you! So it was you causing all these troubles. Hurry up and send back, send back now!"

She grabbed him and shook him vigorously, her emotions surging at the ntion of returning.

"Empress, you must think this through. Do you truly wish to return?"

Venerable Priest Liao Chen did not dodge, instead standing still, utterly composed: "Originally, my battle with that demon monk had reached a critical point, yet I kept losing to him ti after ti. This prompted to delve into the matter, and eventually, I stumbled upon a magical array related to so mysterious power. I was quite curious about this power, so I prepared earnestly, and the end results of my study turned out to be quite significant."

"Following the research approach, I searched for the most compatible individual, and never would I have imagined that, through the boundless starry sky, I would eventually find you. Even with all my abilities, had your body been in good condition, I wouldn’t have had the ans to summon you here."

Venerable Priest Liao Chen said so much, clearly touching on the crux of the matter.

Indeed, a person has Three Souls and Seven Spirits, but when they are intact, even with his powers, he cannot cross the vast starry sky and appear in her space and ti.

Yet, he succeeded!

And the key to his success, naturally, was sothing wrong with the original body.

"Cut the crap! Tell how to get back ho!"

Su Pan’er was fuming with nowhere to vent her anger, grabbing Venerable Priest Liao Chen by the collar and hoisting him up, only to find him as light as a feather, seemingly weightless.

This surprised Su Pan’er, and she quickly let go of his robe.

"Are you certain that you wish to return, Empress?"

Liao Chen appeared unfazed by Su Pan’er’s actions; he simply shook out his robe: "You have been in this different world for many years now, passing through layers of ti and space. How can you be certain that you will return to the exact mont you left, precisely when your body hasn’t yet decayed?"

"..."

That single sentence left Su Pan’er speechless.

She took several steps back.

"Can you forsake your husband, abandon your twin daughters, leave behind all this boundless wealth and power, to gamble on a chance that’s less than one in ten thousand? You must think it over carefully!"

Su Pan’er’s face turned even paler!

Boundless wealth and power were things she could discard without a second thought.

But abandon her twin daughters—her Little Yan Yan and Little Sugar Bean, the apples of her eye? How could she possibly bring herself to neglect them?

As for her husband...

Su Pan’er glanced into the grand hall and silently averted her gaze.

If you don’t leave, I will never abandon you!

How could she let go of the man to whom she was bound by a vow of life and death?

Thinking of all this, Su Pan’er felt as if the scenery was spinning violently around her; it was as if she had no choice at all!

"Why did you bring to this different world? What exactly is it for?"

"Empress, what do you think?"

Venerable Priest Liao Chen suddenly laughed, "Frankly speaking, I have said before, the reason why I summoned Empress here was naturally to eradicate Liao Jue, that old bald donkey who has done many evil deeds."

In order to cut off the road to divinity for the old bald donkey Liao Jue, he had exhausted all his strength! Finally, he summoned Su Pan’er from that different world.

And he, too, had received a celestial punishnt for his defiance against heaven!

Originally majestic with a fine appearance and facial features, his visage eventually turned into this disfigured form that was neither human nor dog!

Yet even so, he believed that it was all worth it!

"But I have nothing to do with this matter, yet you dragged into it. How can you bear this?"

"It is indeed my fault, and so, I am trying my best to make ands. Whatever I can do, as long as you say the word, Empress, even if it ans exhausting all my resources, I will surely make it happen for you!"

Venerable Priest Liao Chen said earnestly.

"Wait, let think..."

She needed to think carefully about whether she should leave this place...

"Empress, you can take your ti and think it through. When everything is clear to you, you can co and find at any ti, and I will surely prepare a place for your arrival!"

Venerable Priest Liao Chen seed to have also seen Su Pan’er’s hesitation. After speaking, he perford a respectful bow to Su Pan’er and turned to leave their sight. He couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief inwardly!

If Su Pan’er truly wanted to go back, whether he could send her back to the different world she ca from was still a big question!

Su Pan’er also secretly breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that Liao Chen at least afforded them so ti to catch their breath and consider their options. Nothing could have been better.

"Pan’er, what’s wrong? Why are you standing outside and not coming in?"

Qin Yi, hearing soone talking outside the grand hall, had followed the voice. He saw Su Pan’er standing in front of the hall, lost in thought, and noticed that there wasn’t a single Imperial Guard by her side!

"I’m all right, just standing here thinking about things."

Su Pan’er walked a few steps forward to face Qin Yi. As she t his worried gaze, she couldn’t help but avert her eyes.

Upon reflection, that world had neither Little Yanyan nor Little Sugar Bean, nor those loving family mbers! Most importantly, it didn’t have her beloved!

Without all these, her life seed as empty as a walking corpse. No matter how much money she earned, it wouldn’t matter in the end, why bother?

With this thought, Su Pan’er couldn’t help but straighten her back and smiled!

Having the love of her family and loving them in return, what more could she be dissatisfied with?

After resolving the matter at Huangjue Temple, Qin Yi took Su Pan’er back to the palace.

But once back at the palace, Su Pan’er seed to lose her spirit, her look turning sowhat listless. Even with Little Yanyan and Little Sugar Bean amusing her, she seldomly showed a smile.

There was a sense of suffocation weighing on her heart, yet she couldn’t vent it out. And she couldn’t ntion it to anyone, so she had to suppress it within herself.

But within two days, a cold wave suddenly arrived, sweeping through the entire Imperial Palace of the Great Zhou Dynasty, leaving the ground covered in golden-yellow, adding to the bleak and desolate atmosphere.

The footsteps of autumn grew nearer!

And Su Pan’er fell sick!

The old saying goes, "Illness arrives like a landslide but leaves as slowly as drawing silk."

With this illness, despite taking several prescriptions, Su Pan’er saw no improvent.

While she was languishing, resting by the bed, Feng Xiyue ca to visit the sick.
